Help! I can't remember the name of this book...
Looking for a book I read in late 80's/early 90's in which the H/h spend time together in "survival" type circumstances because of a plane crash or maybe because they are stuck together in some war torn country. In the end, the Hero's family show up and there is a female with them that is either a past or current girlfriend. She greets him with a hug or a kiss and of course the h is devastated and thinks H will resume is relationship with the OW. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I thought it was an HP but have never been able to find it.

This sounds a little like Try to Remember by Vanessa James but h in that book suffers from amnesia after the crash not a limp.

Unfortunately its not Crime Of Passion. In the book I am looking for I am pretty sure his family and the OW arrive either in a plane or helicopter.

What did we all do before the internet? Back in the 80's I recall a friend writing to Mills & Boon / Harlequin, describing the book she was looking for in detail and receiving a letter back from them, along with the book (complimentary, of course). Awesome being able to come here and tap in to the wealth of knowledge. Thank you admins :)

I kind of miss that but the internet is so much quicker and convenient.

Hi, I am trying to find out the name of a book for forever. The hero is Businessman who gets headaches and thinks that he might die of an aneurysm.Breaks up with the girlfriend. She is pregnant and is devastated. He returns later and they go to meet his family in Russia. He gets sick again when they are there and he decides to breakup again.I think it was part of a series.
Hope this jogs someone’s memory.

YW - the whole series is great. It's Desire range, not Presents - but I like a couple of the Desire authors.
Still looking for a book where the heroine is working for the hero, and she is trying to hide that her mother had an affair with hero's father who had a heart attack and Hero blames the mother but does not know at first the heroine is her daughter.

Not it's not devils causeway, I think it was a bit more modern than that.
Also a long shot a book where the only thing I remember is hero and heroine having a picnic or something in a meadow and the hero's thoughts are about how he does not want a permanent relationship but his thoughts are desperate about how he wants to make love to heroine and then he starts to think about it the protection failing and then he can keep her.
[SOLVED] Hi guys! I really can't remember the name of the book.I believe the heroine and hero's parents (her mum was marring to his dad) were married. Heroine owns a restaurant/is a chef. She needed money for her restaurant because her ex-boyfriend (ex-business partner too) swindled the money or something. And her step-brother offered marriage.

Sounds like The Unclaimed Baby by Melanie Milburne. I just reread it not long ago.

[SOLVED] Looking for a Harlequin Presents where the heroine has a business with two friends (I think it's jewelry based). She's had a traumatic experience in her past and was assaulted while walking through the park as a shortcut on her way to tennis. The incident left a scar on her thigh. Trying my luck once again because you guys are amazing. Looking for three 2000s-2010s Presents books:1) [SOLVED] Heroine is pregnant. Towards the latter half of the book nearing the end, she rescues a child caught in a rip current out at sea while she's at the beach. She reaches the child in time and they both get rescued but she ends up miscarrying.
2) [SOLVED] Heroine is driving at night (I think after a fight with the hero) and her vehicle (I distinctly remember it being a Range Rover) ends up hanging over the side of a cliff. Hero comes to rescue her.
3) Heroine goes to tell hero about her pregnancy at his office. I'm not sure if he doesn't believe her or if he doesn't react well to the news. Either way, she finds refuge in one of the toilets on his office floor. She realises she's bleeding and the hero finds out and takes charge of the situation. I think she's ordered to be on bed rest by the doctor.

Sounds like A Little Bit Pregnant by Charlotte Maclay. The only thing different is that the h isn't really pregnant. The h was at the airport getting ready to go home and came across a girl who said that she was being forced to marry and she convinced the h to take her place. The h didn't know that she was supposed to be pregnant and she found out when she got to where she was going. The boy she rescued had fallen into a rain swollen river and the girl fell in and that's when they told the H that she lost the baby.

2. sounds like Sicilian Millionaire, Bought Bride Someone else was looking for it a month ago. 2nd last chapter, heroine in 4wd hanging off edge of a narrow mountain road. The children were missing, she went searching for them.

I just remembered. #1 is To the Ends of the Earth by Elizabeth Lowell. The h lived at a beachfront house/condo. It was the neighbor's young son who got caught in the riptide and the h rescued him. She miscarried at that time.

Omg, that's eerily similar but sadly not it. I don't think h knew the child at all. Just a tourist family at the beach she was enjoying. I think she was with a friend or a member of their home staff at the time. She was married to H because of the baby, iirc. Thanks anyway. :)

Could number 2 request be Seducing Simon by Maya Banks? It has a scene like that towards the end. Her car is yellow iirc and he is one of the firemen called to the accident if that helps any.

It's definitely Sicilian Millionaire, Bought Bride. I remember having this book but I hadn't reached for it in ages because we moved house and a lot of my books were forcibly put into storage by my mother. The Range Rover stuck out in my memory because we had a Range Rover too, haha.

I want to find a book i hv read it but dont remember the title or author....could u help...
Story goes like this...the hero first see heroine as his brothers gf and he wanted her so he creates a situation and kidnaps her and they are in an accident....she looses her baby and injures badly and she runs away with a limp and scarred body....yrs later hero finds heroine and forces her to marry him... i remember ut is a contemporary romance not vintage mills and boons...please help
