That's it - thank you - I had a feeling it was part of a series. :) I see that Vintage reviewed it too.

Might be the book Carla is looking for but not the one that I suggested had a similar storyline - I wouldn't mind re-reading it. No parentage issues in the one I recall.

Thanks so much for helping me find this book!

That's it. Thank you so much for your help. I was almost outta ma mind looking for it. Gracias

Thanks in advance!

Maybe The Innocent's Shock Pregnancy

Night Music by Charlotte Lamb

Possibly Shattered Dreams by Sally Wentworth.

This sounds like something Anne Mather would write. Try In the Italian's Bed by Anne Mather

Not an exact match but possibly The Silver Falcon by Yvonne Whittal

Satan's Contract by Susan McCarthy

I didn't think so but it was the closest one I could find on my bookshelves. If you remember more details please add and I will look again.

Did you ever find out the title to this one?

Vintage - any thoughts on the one Renee is looking for? I've searched every nascar, racing driver book/shelf and can't find. I have two books with panic attack ex-model but none with ex racing driver who crashed. Sounds familiar, can't put finger on it.

I was curious which one she was looking for. Lost in Love has a race car driving H that has a minor crash at the end, but the heroine is not a model.

One that has the h as a past model and who has panic attacks is The Italian's Deal for I Do by Jennifer Hayward. The H is not a racing car drive though.

There is another one that I read recently where h was model who had panic attacks, I'll have to remember the name, the H and h were married/separated. Yes the JH book was one of the anxiety ones without the other parts. Maybe not Harlequin? Also sounds a bit like a mix of the two Summerville Sisters books by Kim Lawrence. Chloe in book two has an accident in Europe in book one. She is BFF with the H's sister in book two and she is a fashion writer / charity fund raiser who has anxiety regarding her scars from the accident. The H in book one used to race cars at some point. I'll search through my Kindle for the other one I was thinking of.

Book 1
The book is set in England for most part. There is some portion set in France or some other European country.
The heroine is working for her father. He’s a taskmaster and very hard to please. She has been told that her mother is dead and believes it. There is a painting. Whether of a house or of the heroine’s mother I’m not sure.
For some reason, the Heroine sets out on a journey to the countryside. And there’s either an auction or something draws her to a place / house and there’s the connection to the painting. She meets the hero there. Not clear on how it happens but they have an “overtaken by passion” moment. And I think that in the clear light of the day, the heroine regrets the night before and goes back home.
A few weeks later, she finds that she’s left with a souvenir, “of the nine months variety”. Her father’s secretary with an eye for the main chance deduces that the heroine is pregnant, she tattles the secret out. Her father is livid and gives her an ultimatum- get rid of it or get out. When the heroine rebels, the father cuts off her credit cards and repossesses her car. Maybe she’s asked to vacate the company owned flat I’m not sure.
At a low ebb she comes into an art gallery. Unbeknownst to her, the gallery which is part of a chain belongs to the Hero’s family. After that I don’t remember the book very well. The big surprise is that the heroine’s mother is alive and is married to the Hero’s father.
The heroine goes to meet her mother. Then the heroine’s father dies and the heroine comes back to England and finds that the father has not disinherited her.
Book 2
This book is set USA (probably Texas) and England.
Heroine’s father is a businessman in UK.
Past - She’s come to a ranch and is on a sort of working holiday. Her rich background is not known. The Hero (helping his money minded father in business?) and the Heroine are attracted to each other and they have a summer affair? The hero proposes? The hero’s father throws a spanner in the works and either tries to buy her off or make her feel guilty by threatening to disinherit the hero? Without contacting the hero for his POV, the heroine takes off and goes back to Daddy.
Present - Fast forward 5 - 6 years. Hero and his father arrive in UK for a meeting with the Heroine’s father. The heroine unwittingly walks into the meeting and walks out. After the meeting while exiting the building, the hero sights a little boy who calls out to his grandfather. Looking at the boy, the hero immediately recognises that the child is his flesh and blood. At the hotel where they are staying, the Hero and his father have a showdown and the Hero quits/ threatens to quit. After this I don’t remember.....
I hope that someone is able to help me out with the names of the books.
Really appreciate the members of this group. It’s just awesome as to how with such few details available, you are able to locate a book.

I really appreciate all your efforts (Vintage, Taylijane, Se) to help me find this. Have been really searching my kindle to find this book for a few months now and have been struggling. Its not the ones listed below - Lost in Love, The Italian Deal's for I Do, or the Kim Lawrence ones. I have read those and it's not those :-(). May be I have truly mixed up two books.

Book #1 is One Reckless Night by Sara Craven

Book #2 might be The Interloper by Robyn Donald

Thank you RomLibrary.
This is just the book I was trying to remember.

I assume from the term fashion blogger, you mean the book is probably no older than 10 or so years. I have done every kind of search on my Kindle too, but Kindle paperwhite, seems to zip up older books and they are not searchable. Causes me no end of woe. I remembered another ex-racing driver, I think maybe Robyn Grady - the h has a young son that the H didn't know about. He ends up giving up racing for her. I know he did have an accident at some point. Her Last Night of Innocence - India Grey also doesn't match except for the accident. Haven't located it, and don't remember a sister/bff One day, one of us will locate it - I'm very keen to read it!

Possibly Tamed By Her Husband by Elizabeth Power

It sounds like the sequel to "The Virgin's Shock Baby" by Heidi Rice. TVSB is about Megan, while the sequel is about her sister, Katie. I just don't remember the name of Katie's book.
What I do remember is the guy that rescues Katie is the bodyguard that Megan's husband Dario had hired to protect Katie. Katie's money has been stolen by someone she'd been traveling with.

Untouched Queen by Royal Command by Kelly Hunter
h is trained in martial arts as well as a courtesan. I think this is my favorite book of 2019.
