A Marriage Fit for a Sinner Starts with hero getting out of jail - I would also read Brunetti's Secret Son - second in the series
Playing the Dutiful Wife / Expecting His Love-Child In Playing the Dutiful Wife, hero is framed and sent to jail.

Sounds like you might like Maya Blake books. If you like What the Greek Can't Resist, I would read the other two in the series.

I’m looking for a HP book I read in the 2000’s. The Hero had lost his inheritance and his fiancee to his stepbrother. Now that he is richer then his brother the ex-fiancée wants the Hero back, and tries to ruin his relationship with the Heroine. I think the Heroine helps the brothers reconcile towards the end.

Hi, I'm looking for a book that I think is Harlequin but I'm not entirely sure. I believe the female mc was married to an Indian prince. She ran from her marriage because of in-laws and a miscarriage (I think?). She let her husband think she was dead and has been living as an artist the whole time. Then her husband finds out she is alive and gets her back. This book has been bugging me and I really want to re-read it so if anyone has a clue I would greatly appreciate it!

Looking for an HP where the h approaches the H on behalf of a man in her life (it could have been a brother or father) who owes the H money or even embezzled from his company. I know there are a lot of books about this trope but the scene I recall the best is that she is completely wet from rain when she meets him in his office. He of course blackmails her into a relationship in exchange for letting her relative off the hook.

It's bond of hatred, thanks! And I was actually going through all the LGs on my account and can never find the specific one I'm looking for - I think it's insomnia-caused brain malfunction lol. It doesn't help that I can sometimes only remember scraps or specific events - like the one where the H fell over the lawnmower.
Looking for a book that I can only remember bits of heroine worked at the company that hero owned she worked in one part of it but was then sent to work for hero as one of his secretaries he had two others, I remember their was a co worker who was interested in her and her was jealous of him, hope you can help.
I am actually searching for a book and dont know how to find it. I dont remember the author or the title but the story. I found this one while looking for that one. I think it might have been a harlequin or silhouette book but dont remember So the heroine is alone and has no family. She has had some bad experience with fiancé and just wants a baby now. She works for her best friends brother goes and asks him to give a baby to which he gets really shocked and reacts badly but later agrees. They spend time together and he decides to marry her but doesnt realize he is in love with her and she runs away because she loves him and has for sometime. This book was based in a town where this aunti agony type gossip article gets published in the local newspaper and no one knows the identity of the author and everyone keeps wondering as to that. I think it was a series but i never read any other book so i dont know for sure. Can someone help with the name?

Possibly Marchese's Forgotten Bride by Michelle Reid ?
3 stories, very little info besides they were all made in the 1980s, harlequins...d1) SOLVED Greek businessman (H) falls in love with h who was standing in for her sister, but she is actually an academic. H chases h back to London.
2) Night club singer as the h, H dances (hilarious to us but "sexy" at the time) like a male belly dancer around her on the dance floor
3) H (boss?) seduces h, they go to his(?) resort together. Bottles of Chateau d'yquem shared constantly. H drinks one whole bottle by himself after she leaves. H drinks the d'yquem out of a shoe at one point.
I know these are vague, but these are from my sister. We read through hundreds of harlequins but left them all in our childhood home and most of those have been reboxed and moved out so we can't find anything. There are just silly points that might strike someone as familiar. Those gals, Catherine Lamb, Emma Johnson, and more from the 80s made us so happy!

I threw all mine out when I moved. Tried to give them away but no takers. I had about 3 tubs of them. lol about the belly dancing, I read one which was set in Bollywood and the H sang to the h at their wedding. lots of Charlotte Lamb books are available online. Crescendo still one of my top 10 faves.

Thank you, but it is not that. In the one i remeber they had a boy and a girl, and i think i was wrong about them being twins. Relatively newly wed couple with a baby girl and a baby boy having marital issues, The wife is tired and sometimes faking it at nights :)
Hello! I'm looking for a book that is not necessarily a HP Presents, but it is an HP. The book seems to be in the historical end. The 'h' lives with her family, there's a lighthouse that's central to the story. The H thinks she's a mermaid, miracle or something. This is all I really remember of this book.
I hope this jogs someone's memory. Thank you!

What about Marriage Meltdown by Emma Darcy ? Although, she is Italian not him.
Looking for a very old Mills and Boons (possibly a Harlequin)I probably read it in the early 1980s. Young woman goes to work as a housekeeper (nanny?) for a surly scientist. Her parents and brother/s are scientists as well. She uses fake glasses to utterly obscure her beauty, and wears dowdy clothes. I particularly remember an ongoing argument about leaving her car parked on the street and it running down her parking lights; they had to be left on overnight (not a requirement in the US).
Can anyone help? Thank you!
thank you @Amber (Daisymau), it isn't heart of the storm. the book is a little bit older and the story of the lighthouse takes place somewhere in the early 1800s.
The h is helping keep the lighthouse going.

The Ranieri Bride (For Love or Money) by Michelle Reid
Hi help. I'm looking for a book HP maybe but of that sort,Hero's name is DAN
he and heroine met at a wedding reception while heroine was looking out the balcony/window alone and away from the crowd contemplating her recent break up with a short man .H invited her to his room at that hotel (he didn't have a room, just was really interested in the h) heroine invited him instead to her house for a picnic of some sort and something happened.
They continued their affair with the H eventually asking the h to move in with him but the h had an ex who was jealous and set the h up as if they were having a passionate moment when the ex set up the H to "catch" them on the sofa.
H will not listen to h explanations and when the h went to his office (he's in construction development of some sort) he kisses the h but rebuffs her saying he can't forget what he saw.
The h finds herself pregnant. I can't remember if she tied to tell H. But she decides to raise the baby on her own. On a common friend's engagement party
(which the h attended because she though the H was in US) the h stands up and shocks Dan of her pregnancy. H insists marriage, introduces her to his father who is the bestfriend's gardener. The BF of H is a title holder.
Other clues: h is journalist. I'm thinking her name is eve because they didn't give out their real names and she left to transfer apartments after something happened with the H.
-h is writing a story about H's BF's place because the place was going to be open for events and such to make money.
-H thought saying 'I want you' I love you.
-h had swollen ankles and had to borrow socks from the H's BF and H had to carry her around
Thanks and God bless whoever finds this because I seem to be thinking about it too much and can't sleep properly trying to figure out what it is.

I've looked and haven't been able to find a book with this character's name. After messing around I finally typed in Steele Gray on abebooks and found the book. The reason I couldn't find it on fictiondb was because someone typed in Gras instead of Gray. I fixed the problem and now it will be easy to find the next time. The book is The Steele Trap by Betsy Osborne.
