Help! I can't remember the name of this book...
I only re-read that 2 days ago. Love a good amnesia tale. Be sure to read the other two!
Hi y'all, I am posting here because I'm looking for a book which *may* or *may not* be a Harlequin. Lol.The book is from the 1990s or early 2000s. It's about a hockey player that enters into a marriage of convenience with his ex girlfriend/fiance/childhood friend. Don't remember much of the middle, but a big plot element was that he had hockey memorabilia that was stolen/destroyed and they wanted to find the culprit. Oh, and I think the cover had a hockey stick on it, no people.

Ok ... can someone help me out ...I read this one a few years back .... h was town outcast ... she was married to a very nice man who was an outsider to the town; he came there in a position of law enforcement (sheriff or police) and falls in love with her ...
The town people discourage him but he marries her .. she is very happy with him ... he dies ... when book starts she is a widow ...
H meets her (cannot recall if he was an outsider in the town or a much loved golden boy) .... he meets and realises she is educated, runs her own business (she has a farm) making soaps and such, which she sells (maybe online) but she definitely sells it outside her little town ... she even buys her groceries and stuff outside town ... even after she marries her husband, he remains well liked while she remains the outcast but she is least bothered by the townspeople ....
H realises she is independent and hard working and very lovely ... Does anyone remember ....

I'm looking for a book I read in the '90. The H's name was Reece and became stepbrother to the h. She is very shy of men and she's a librarian. Her mother knew the H's father when she visits the h at the Hospital after a car accident with the H.The H fell in love with the h, but after their parent's marriage, she doesn't want anything to do with him.
He saves her from a nasty man who strikes on lonely women to robe of their money.

Would like to re-read this older harlequin presents but can't remember the title or author. I'm pretty sure the H is either Italian, Spanish or Greek , living in London and wealthy (of course). The h is the housekeeper, I think she is plump or overweight. They start an affair. The H does not take her out or socialize with h outside of the apartment. I'm pretty sure the impression is the H is ashamed of the h. Thank you for your help.

I'm pretty sure that was the one where the H actually got married to OW, then divorced, then went after the h, his former mistress. It's not the one I'm looking for though. I wish I could give you more detail, I think someone in the H's family came to visit while the H and h were having their fling. I'm currently transferring all the books I've read and had noted on loose leaf in binders onto my books in goodreads . I am at the HP's and may come across the title and it may ring a bell. I generally recall better by looking at the original book cover. Thank you . Please keep the suggestions coming.

Hi Zubee. Nope, not that one, The one I'm looking for was read late 1990's to 2009. This one looks good though. I just downloaded it onto my KOBO and will read it today. I could have my books mixed up but I think in the book I'm looking for the h is friends with the H's brother OR the H is friends with the h's brother, could be cousin. This is how she got the job.

Hi! Need help finding name of an old book. The plot is that heroine mistakenly believes hero(very rich) to be her mother's ex-lover and holds him responsible for her death after his rejection, when in truth, it was hero's brother who was her mother's ex-lover. Hero was merely acting as the mediator the first time heroine sees hero. For hero it was love at first sight with heroine but before he could introduce himself, she leaves. Few years into the future, hero spots heroine at someplace and forces her into a relationship with him(blackmail ??) but due to her hatred for him, she refuses his advances. They both however are attracted to each other. The story progresses with both characters getting close. At the end heroine feeling guilty and confused at her growing feelings for him, comes out and tells hero about how she knew of his and her mother's relationship. Hero explains the actual happenings and they both reconcile and profess love for the other.

If the brother she marries turns out to be the hero, a couple of possibilities might be Miranda Lee's The Bride in Blue or Helen Bianchin's The Greek's Bought Wife

Kindly help me find a sheikh romance that I think started with heroine being rescued from some kidnappers and then presented to the sheikh. He forces her to marry him, can't remember the blackmail. A car bombing takes place during the story and heroine is moved at watching the sheikh on tv consoling people. Thank you.

Need help finding a book. I can't remember the character's names but I know the H and h are married. The H believes that the h is responsible for his sister's death. He married her to keep the situation from becoming a scandal. The housekeeper keeps watch over the h.
There is a scene is the beginning where the h crashes a party on the H's friend boat to get his attention.

Looking for a book where the heroine kind of works for the hero (or is his mistress, or both)? I think it's set in London but h's mom lives in the countryside. I think there was also a revenge plot of the hero against the heroine's stepdad who recently died. The stepdad was abusive towards the heroine and her mom. The h has a very old car (beetle?) that she bought for herself and loves very much. The hero buys her the exact new car and she almost cries, but then plays up a greedy mistress act.
The H and h visit the h's mom, and the h tries to prevent the H from really interacting with the mom. Later the H calls the h's mom who thanks him for finally getting her daughter to let go of her dilapidated car, knowing how much she loved it.
In the end the hero figures out that the heroine is actually not a greedy gold-digger and rescues her car from the scrap heap also.

Need help finding another book. This one is from the 90s, I think. The H and h's brother and sister have died leaving them custody of their twins. The H and h plan to get married but before they do it is revealed that the twins are really the H and h. The h was young when she had them. I don't think the H knew at all but his parents did.

I can only remember that the H took another women to a gala night or maybe an awards night leaving h at home alone with child.
I think she sees him on TV not knowing anything about it as H had not mentioned or invited her. she decides she has had enough and takes baby and dumps it on him and leaving. Thanks again in advance

I read one where the spoilt and womaniser meets h and sleeps with her when her sister and his brother marry ... h is a hard working student who is about to enrol in medical school or some such ... she falls in love but the next morning realises that he only wanted to sleep with her ... he walks away and she is pregnant ...
Her twins are adopted by her married sister (the one married to H;s brother) ... H and h meet when the brother and sister die and they are named guardians ...
H realises no one told him h was pregnant as he was such a spoilt womaniser who really would not have supported the h and instead would have given her more grief ... h was talented and needed to focus on her career ... she was also rather upset over H's treatment and really felt she would never be able to give her children a good life so she let her sister adopt them ... she was a part of the kids life ... kids got a secure and happy life ...

Hi! Looking for one from the 90’s I think. A widow (husband called Jonathan I think?!) based in Cairo or similar, she is kidnapped by the sheikh after going to a museum to show some tourist around. Sorry, that’s all I can remember! Any help much appreciated.

Hello again! Looking for another book. The h meets the H again after some time, and there is a conflict that has to be resolved by the h becoming the H's mistress. In the earlier half of the book, before they do sleep together; the H carries on insinuating that the h is a woman of loose morals. The h gets visibly teary (or actually begins to cry) and the H notices and actually apologizes (striking for a harlequin!!!). He then says ok he'll tone it down.
This is kind of vague 😭 I hope you guys can help me!
