ANA | 64 comments This is oldskool harly. h is blackmailed into having sex with OM. One day, she is at a wedding and realizes it is the OM. She shouts out when the celebrant asks whether there is any reason the wedding should not go forward and slaps the OM in the face. Suprise -- it is NOT the OM, it's the H -- who is his twin.

Anyone remember this?

RomLibrary | 260 comments I am trying to remember an HP I read where the H/h are married and leave the wedding reception and go to bedroom to consummate marriage while the party is still going on. I think I read it in the late 90''s or early 2000's because thought that was pretty risque for an HP at the time.

I remember one with a Russian hero who did that. The good twin married him instead of the evil one. Maybe a Lynne Graham?

Was it Ruthless Magnate, Convenient Wife?

The only HP,that I remember where the grandma knew about the H’s child is Smoke in the Wind but you already said that isn’t the book.

message 3661: by Angie (new)

Angie Torres | 15 comments No, it isn´t that one. Ok, I´ll rewrite what I remember. H and h were together, they were lovers, H didn´t take h serious. In a family dinner or something like that H met h´s cousin and he liked her because she was shy, something he thought h wasn´t. H thought h was easy because she wasn´t a virgin when he met her. H left h and got married with her cousin, he didn´t know h was pregnant, I think h´s cousin couldn´t have children. The h and cousin´s grandma knew about the H´s son. The cousin dies, but I don´t remember how the H and h get together again or how he finds out about his son. Please, help with this!

message 3662: by Lee at ReadWriteWish (last edited Feb 08, 2019 03:02AM) (new)

Lee at ReadWriteWish (leeatreadwritewish) | 33 comments Hi, I posted this a while ago and had no luck. Thought I'd post again. I think it had a red cover. I think it was a super romance Mills & Boon.

It was two colleagues, who worked together, They both have dreams featuring the other. The dreams have them in various times/places (I remember one is western themed) and they have adventures, save each other, kiss each other etc. In one dream H puts a flower behind h's ear in a field.

They have some sort of work victory (I'm think maybe they were in marketing and had just completed a successful advertising campaign) and they get slightly drunk. Hero says he'll buy her some sort of flower for a job well done and then corrects himself, saying that he won't as they make her sneeze. She wants to know how he knows she sneezes from them and he says, 'because you told me, in the field' (paraphrasing) and this makes them realise they've both been having the dreams and they both remember their interactions in the dreams.

They also figure out the themes for the dreams are based on the movies they've been watching before they go to bed.

I remember at one stage hero admits he's always had sexy dreams of heroine, even when he was married to someone else (he was a widower) but these dreams were different (it wasn't as wrong as this sounds! LOL).

I also remember one of them nearly dies/or does die in the dream and the other rushes around to make sure they're okay in real life.

It was quite a clever premise and I'd love to read again/check out the author.

message 3696: by Chamen (new)

Chamen | 8 comments It's a historical book but couldn't specifically remember the era the story happened. The H kidnapped the h from h's father's castle due to some disagreement between H and h's father. (They were bound to be married in the h's territory) So the H kidnapped and married the h somewhere. I do remember that the heroine hurt her hand ( I dont know how it happened) and she had to go through a procedure without anesthesia and H was so proud of the heroine for not even making a sound. As the story progressed, they were starting to get along when the h's family arrived at the H territory and the H accidentally killed the h's gentle brother (?). I also remembered there was this jostling or competition that happened where anyone can challenged who they want. The h's family/relatives all challenged the H(he had a monicker something like "wolf"? For he was a might warrior) When atlast the H was wounded after a lot of challenges and cheating on the h's family, the h saw H unhorsed and on the ground almost dying, she ran towards him. H thinking that the h still hated him, thought she was gonna kill him and was even resigned to finally end it. However, the h went down ofnher knees and cradled her husband and admitted her feelings towards the H in the battlefield infront of thousands of people and even her family's men.

After that dramatic scene, the H was in bed with the help of a potion (anesthesia) that if given for a long period of time can cause impotence and the h didn't want her husband to feel any more pain, allowed her trusted servant to give more but the H hearing this told the servant that he'd rather feel the pain than to be useless in bed 😉 (non-verbatim)

Hope someone could help me find this book. Thank you.
