The marriage was consummated. After she caught him cheating he went home and then raped the heroine. It is a great book but that Hero needed a few doses of Boogenhagen’s skillet.
Ok since reading Santiago's Love-Child I am remembering reading a book that I can not remember the title of and I am hoping someone can help me. I think remember the H and h were involved when he notices she has a wedding band. I think they are on a boat?? He is extremely angry and they part. He did not listen to her but she is widowed and I think it is a year anniversary of her husbands death that she meets him. I can not think of any more information. I hope someone can help me because it driving me crazy not remembering. Thank you in advance....

Hi everyone, I hav ready book last year where the H's brother dates h but cheat on her with her step mother. when h cimes to know she breaksup with him . after that the guy dies in a car crash. his mother blames h for the mishap n provokes H against h. Meanwhile h's father also throws her outta house. H seduces h with a motive of revenge. h gullibly trust H. H always tries to humiliate h. when h come H's motives she's heartbroken n pregnant. She tries to tell him the truth but disbeleives her. She goes back to her father. The maid kf the house srlls the story to newspaper. H realises his mistake n comes after h.

Hi, please help me find a book.The story is about a separated couple with a young child. The communicate with each other through his mother. One day they child decided that he doesn't want to visit his dad and she communicated that to her in law. He showed up at her door instead and they decided on working to get back together.
I think I remember that the reason for their separation is due to her keep having miscarriages. And doctor said they should not try anymore.
Does it ring a bell to anyone?

please help me to find these books:1. the H and h are married and hate-love each other. they rarely see each other because the H leaves early in the morning. but one morning he is home when the h comes into kitchen for breakfast. they start kissing but their housekeeper interrupts them. they both date om and ow. the om is h's friend and the ow seems to be the H's mistress. this book reminds me a little of In Name Only
2. I remember only that the H and h are married. he hates her and she loves him and one time he asks her to bring him something from his bedroom. she sees a frame with a picture of a woman and realises that the H deliberatly let her see it.
I am not sure but these 2 books may be one same book

The h hates the Hero and tries to show it to him in multiply ways. All this time the heroine have lived the life of a socialite and have gone out and dated many men. Her reputation is of a bad girl.
The book is about their marriage - how she tries to antagonize him most of the time and how after some time the H understand that she and her reputation with men is not what it seems.
They didn't consummate their marriage instantly. The H realized that he is her first.
I think the H and her father are partners. The h and the H have known each other for years.

I recall something like this where the husband married the partner's daughter but left her at her family's estate. He went off for years and had affairs and the daughter decides to ask for a divorce then he takes notice of her. Is this the same book or different one?

Heroine was blackmailed into marrying hero who thought she was having an affair with brother in-law. At the end, via heroines friend, he finds out that she is innocent and instead she was abused by his brother in-law.
I remember one scene where heroine wants to call her friend but hero makes her sit on his lap while speaking to her friend...which makes her very uncomfortable...
I remember another scene Hero asks heroine to seduce him...heroine tries her best but she fails (H hides his reaction)

I was sure this was a Carole Mortimer book but I can't pick which one. I remember she had long blonde hair on the cover; she would go out all the time. Her father was his partner maybe? It's a bit of a recurring theme of Mortimer's: the h's father or mother causing issues. As is H's thinking h's are sleeping with a plethora of men only to find she is a virgin.

Hi i'm looking for a book where the h is part of a wealthy and prestigious family and has a stepbrother who wishes he was part of that family but he is a gambler and a wastrel but still the h loves him so this one time the h wealthy family has a get together and he tries to steal the patriarch's horribly vulgar trophy wife's earrings but the H who i think is the h second cousin finds him and blackmails the h into an engagement he has always wanted. But the patriarch who is the H father does not want him to marry the h and tries to get her fired from her job and at the end pushes her into traffic but later changes his mind and saves her at the cost of his life. I am searching for a harlequin romance novel.It is about a college student who works as a waitress. She meets the brother of one of the regulars and they end up having a one night stand. He goes off and leaves and she puts on this facade that she is now married. He comes back to help his brother and sister in law deliver the christmas presents and they end up together. They deliver a pair of kittens to her neighbor who had just lost her cat.
Hi, trying to find a book from around 90's and 00's. I think the H and h are together only because she's pregnant, can't remember if they married or not. She goes to his company building but she can't make it past the lobby, she's told that the H is in important meetings and she has to wait. H apparently didn't know she was waiting and when he finally appears and she stands up she's miscarrying. Hope it rings a bell.

looking for a book where h and H are childhood friends and they both are from a very humble background. and then one day H's father died and he is upset (not sure about it) butthen he turns up at heroines doorstep and they end up having a one night stand. hero goes away in te morning without a word and then years after he is a tycoon and meets heroine inhis hotel. she is a cleaner and he wants to renew their relationship. but heroin is reluctant as she had had a miscarriage from their one night stand. and it was pretty angsty. can anyof you remember?

I am looking for a book, released here in Oz as a 'super romance' I think. It was two colleagues, who worked together, and they dream about each other. The dreams have them interacting in various times/places (I remember one is western themed) and they have adventures, save each other, kiss each other etc. They have some sort of work victory and heroine gets drunk and blurts out something she'd said in the dream. Hero says something in return that makes them realise they've both been having the dreams. I remember at one stage hero admits he's always had sexy dreams of heroine, even when he was married to someone else (think he was a widow) but these dreams were different (it wasn't as wrong as this sounds! LOL). I also remember one of them nearly dies/or does die in the dream and the other rushes around to make sure they're okay in real life. TIA.

I am really sorry, but I'm giving this one last shot. I have added more details in hopes of finding this elusive title. If you can please help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!!!!!H and h had a one night stand at a bar. I think the h was soothing the H from something. The H never calls h again after the first night.
1.) h goes to H's office to let him know that she's pregnant.
2.)The h is a school teacher. She asks the H for financial help that she will pay back.
3.) H moves the h to an apt. in his building. H is very adamant and pushy about moving her, gets movers to pack and move her things.
4.) H tries to get h to sign a financial agreement that will set her up for the rest of her life. h refuses to sign--does not want more than is needed to get through the pregnancy.
5.) h does not have any other family, this baby would be her family. She keeps calling baby "her" instead of "him". Adamant that it will be a girl.
6.) h hosts other teacher friends in the apt. that the H turns up in, maybe an argument ensues.
7.) H has father issues, the H's father is unreliable with money. The reason why he hadn't pressured h to marry was that he didn't know if he'd be a good father.
8.). h LOVES Christmas, in one scene h has fully decorated the apt for Christmas.
9.) h has a dinner with H and H's Father that does not end well, ends in a big fight

10.) H in a grand gesture buys all the nursery items without consulting h.
One significant scene, H is in her apartment, holding her while she sleeps, and realizing that he wants to "keep" h and baby to make a real family instead of being a part-time Father. H makes it the end goal in his courtship of h.
I don't know if this is a Harlequin Presents (more likely) or a Harlequin Desire story. But it is very similar to One Night, One Baby except that the story I'm looking for took place in London/Australia/NY.
It is not on the older side. Older than 2013, its set in a contemporary world so maybe between 2000 to 2010? If you know this book, please take me out of my misery. Thank you!!!
I am looking for a book where the Hero will be disinherited by his father or grandfather if he doesn’t either marry or have a child. I can’t remember which of the two. The threat is that the younger half or step brother will inherit instead. When the hero shows up with a wife the father/grandfather is very relieved because he did not want to follow through and the stepmother is furious. I read it last year but didn’t shelve it for some reason.
