Looking for a Lynne Graham book where the H has just left his model GF's apartment after finding her with another woman. Yes, WOMAN. His car almost runs over a poor little Orphan Annie single mom with her baby boy.
The H picks her up and takes her home and, shock, marries her. Shenanigans ensue.
Sound familiar? I thought I had reviewed it but can't find it.
Thanks!!

Vintage, is it The Italian's Wife?

I really hope you guys can help me. I'll be forever grateful.

The Twelve-Month Mistress by Kate Walker - part of a trilogy - The Alcolar Family

Thank you so very much!!! I've been looking for this book on-and-off for about seven years!!!

yw - I'm a sucker for amnesia books, I thought this one was the best of the three.

The h is a surgeon and the H is... eh.. rich? They are married but on the verge of separation bc their lives were too busy w work. She saved a little boy who felt off a cliff and broke his legs (i think). Oh i think of the problem in their marriage is the H thinks h work is getting in the way of their marriage and h thinks H doesnt respect her job enough bc alpha ego. The h recieved a mentorship w some famous guy and she would have to move somewhere far away? And she volunteer to go to Africa and something? My memory is really bad, so sorry for this confusing mess...haha...

Sounds familiar. It's a similar (not quite the same) premise to One Christmas Night in Venice by Jane Porter, which I've read over and over. The mother in-law tells them both the other is dead. The hero Domenico is raising his son alone. MIL is now deceased and the hero has a sister. The heroine was told her son died at birth.
Will keep thinking about what it could be.
Any idea whether Desire or Presents? Do you recall nationality of the hero?

Sounds like a good one! All of these sound interesting, actually.

The plot sounds good.

First one is: The h leaves the H right after giving birth to their son, because she finds out she has cancer while she is pregnant. She does not tell him and she thinks the worst of her. This is a really good book.
Another one is:
I believe they are royal and they really do love each other and need to have a child, but the h is having some female issues and she cant get pregnant, but she can't let the H know because she needs to give him a child. I kind of remember one scene in the book where the h has started her period and she has really bad pain.
Any help would be great.

The second is Lucy Monroe's angsty The Scorsolini Marriage Bargain.

This is a re-post. I have searched and searched for it. Also posted on harlequin forum and no luck there. Late 80's or 90's. Not after year 2000.
Could also be a Silhouette, not sure. Think it was a Harlequin "super-romance" - bigger than a standard m&b. H meets H at her ranch. He has investments in the area I think - maybe he owns the ranch she works on? I "think" H had been living with an older relative, perhaps grandfather who was recently deceased, so hero could be something to do with the estate. I think she is either a farmer or horse breeder(?) they fall in love, get married then go to live in the city. Hero is wealthy but not billionaire status. All his work is in the city so he insists they move there. She hates the city, but tries to fit in, I recall her having a t-shirt tan and couldn't find suitable gown to wear to a gala evening.
Trying to appear more sophisticated like his friends, heroine gets all her long hair chopped off. On the way home, she gets mugged, drenched and has to walk a long way. The H has to let her go, knowing that the city life is killing her. This leads to her heading back to the farm. They reconcile when H moves his business to nearest city (no idea where) so that he can commute when necessary and they can live HEA on the ranch.

This isn't quite the same plot, but similar to The Winds Of Winter.

Hey, any updates?

Sounds a bit like The Italian's Virgin Princess by Jane Porter, Book 3 in Princess Brides series.

Excellent! I just re-read the series recently, so it was fresh in my mind. Very rare for me, I love each book in the series.

How long ago did you read it? Any idea on location - UK, USA, Europe, Australia?
I have one suggestion. She goes to gentlemen's club for a performance to keep her theatre pub going.
Unfinished Business with the Duke by Heidi Rice.

Fanniny,
Could it be The Object of the Game by Vanessa James?

Thanks in Advances and ignore my English.

Can you recall an HP where the hero tries to make amends for his now dead, evil half-brother who rapes a young girl. The H hears about it and that she has a child.
He rescues the girl, takes her to the Italian/Sicilian ??? homestead where his evil father tries to gain control of the son of his favorite son.
Oops, forgot to mention the h has a creep step-brother who is after her as well.
Thanks!!~

Rape. Date rape drug. I should have known it would be Penny Jordan.

More details?

Hi Mou - Any guess on how old it could be?
Only guess without more info would be Wedlocked: Banished Sheikh, Untouched Queen

Hi Se, Wedlocked: Banished Sheikh, Untouched Queen, here hero is banished and marrying to gain power, but in my book the hero is already a ruling king and I remember, the heroine is a foreign beauty. I think the book was published after 2000. First I thought it was a Penny Jordan's book but it wasn't.

I don't read a lot of sheikh books. The hero is a king in this one, and it probably isn't the right one since there's no mention of the sperm bank mix up in your request. But I'll put it out there anyway. Carrying the Sheikh's Heir

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Thank you so much!

It's not Carrying the Sheikh's Heir. Thanks for the suggestion
