Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

I can’t recall too much but this is an older HP book. It is part of a 4 book series where there is a matchmaker and she has helped match people in the first 3 books. It is her story in the 4th book where her ex comes to her to help her match him up too, but he really wants to get back with her
Thanks for any help!

Does the H have amnesia? The one I'm thinking of they were married and separated after their child died. H was seeing someone from his office. The Wife He Couldn't Forget is not Helen Bianchin another Aust. author

This sounds 90% like The Frenchman's Marriage Demand except the hero had twin baby brothers who died from a genetic illness he was afraid to pass on to any future children. I do feel like I've read the book you're looking for though. Hopefully someone has an answer.

Innocent Secretary Accidentally Pregnant has a similar premise but not a 100% match. Hero doesn’t want children because abusive men run in his family.

No. H does not have amnesia. Thank you for your effort but this is not the one I am looking for

i also recall a scene where the H gives her an office that used to belong to i think his girl friend and she walks out of the building
also i recall somewhere i think an old boyfriend or umcle is blackmailing her but instead of hide she come clean to the H.

ANY ONE? I AM STILL LOOKING FOR THIS BOOK
i think the wife to heroine uncle had her designs on the hero.
another aspect i recall is that an ex boyfriend was trying to bribe the herione but she told him instead of hiding. i also recall that it starts with a sort of engagement party which is arranged due to parents of the heroine wanting it that way in order for the company to stay in family and the hero had been working for the company i think.
i also recall that the wife of the herione uncle was having an affair and when the uncle found out he died i think.
thanks

There was a two part series by Lucy Monroe that matches your description. The first book is the H dumping the heroine for the nude pictures. Bought: The Greek's Bride by Lucy Monroe.
The second is the twin who was in the pictures. She loses the baby because she was dumped by the hero because he was emotionally constipated or something. Can't remember now. Taken: The Spaniard's Virgin

Jayne Ann Krentz set a lot of her category romances in Seattle. Lynne Graham writes a lot of romances with landscaper heroines, but always in the UK.
Penny Jordan had a few prim heroines with nice underwear.
I can't think of a title at the moment, but it does sound familiar.

Carrying the Spaniard's Child

Thanks!

Spanish Aristocrat, Forced Bride also known as The Society Wife
India Grey only wrote HP for 6 years, no idea if she still writes. I highly recommend all of her books - this one is very dark though. Might have to re-read, I didn't recall the dove part being caused by a wedding guest - although I remembered Lily following the injured dove.

Yep. That was a particularly dark one. I need to read more of her work. Thank you so much for all your responses in the thread. You're an amazing wealth of knowledge for HP titles.

YW - I'm ok with last 20 years. 90's - I'm terrible. 80's I read back then and only a handful since. India Grey only wrote about 10 books, highly recommend Mistress: Hired for the Billionaire's Pleasure - alas, it is quite dark too. And Her Last Night of Innocence

OOPS - right author wrong book
Italian Prince, Wedlocked Wife is the one you are after starts in the gas station, they have to marry by midnight.

Thanks, Se. You are a gem!

The MCs have a son the hero is unaware of. He finds out when the boy contacts him. The son is far too smart and mature for his age, and sees his mother struggling to take care of him by herself and wants her to have some support. He sees a picture of the hero in the media and guesses he's the father because they look very alike, so he sends him a letter basically saying, "Hey, I think you're my dad!"

sure if he doesn't..."
I found a book which refers to the h going to H's office to tell him about pregnancy and she doubles over in pain and starts to miscarry. H rushes her to hospital and she does in fact lose the baby. This is only referred to as something that happened 18 months prior. h was actually pregnant with twins and lost one of them. They meet up again and he finds out he is a father. Bound by Her Shocking Secret
*there are several books with a secret surviving twin but this is the only one I have read where the h is at H's office

I wasn't a fan of Unlikely Lover. They are long books, slow down in the middle.

This thread is for "Harlequin Presents" books not historicals. While someone here may have read this book you probably would get better results posting on one of the other threads.
I personally don't recall reading a book with that plot.

I don't think this is the one you want, but it does have a heroine who disguises herself as a boy.
Wild Cat

I am looking for a Harlequin book about a woman named Eve. She owns a plant store. A divorced father with a son in daycare moves into the house next door, She meets the dad when the little boy runs into her yard and calls her "Mommy". He pays her to care for the plants in his office, they fall in love and he gives her a necklace with an apple on it.
I think the book was called "Eve's apples" Or : Eves Garden".
I think I read it in 1999 or 2000. I have been looking for this book for years, any help I would be welcomed.

I only remember one scene.
The hero sees the heroine at a party. (It's not their first meeting though) He is told that the man she came with is married and not to her. This angers the hero at first but the heroine explains that the man is her brother in law, and she came with him in place of his wife because she was pregnant and on bed rest. I think the BIL and his wife may have been the MCs in a previous book.
