The Secrets She Carried the pool stuff is mentioned in chapter 3 when the h is thinking back to how they met

Thank you so much!

This is what I remember from the book.
The Hero married the heroine as part of a deal with the father,
H was shamed by the daughter of his boss when he was younger.
h likes to read but the father didn't send her school and h mother is afraid of the h father.
After marrying they went to live in H house who has an all boy orphanage he sponsor's, one day he bought children clothes for them and h sees the receipt and had him followed to the orphanage he got angry and had to introduce her to them.
One of the boys is twins and reunited with his twin sister and was adopted by the couple that adopted the sister first.

Looking for a Harlequin where the heroine is a nanny overseas. She falls for the H who is wealthy, obviously. The H's wannabe OW and plants a necklace in the heroine's room and everybody believes she's guilty including the H. Months pass and he figures out what really happened and tracks down the heroine.
I realize that this could be many, many books, but would appreciate some help!
Thanks, Kelly

Could be The Italian's Marriage Demand

This is what I remember from the book.

It's means a lot.
Thanks

1. The hero and heroine marry (not for love but I don't remember why). On what is supposed to be their honeymoon, the hero takes the heroine to a very remote cottage with next to no amenities. He insists they share the only available bed, but the heroine is scared of the dark, so she sneaks out of the bedroom to go sleep in front of the fire in the living room, even though it's very cold. The next day they go on a hike and she falls into water. She insists on walking back to the cabi dripping wet.
2. The hero has a very low opinion of the heroine, but he still marries her. After marriage they move to his home country, and then he tells her how low an opinion he has of her, and that they will not have a loving or normal marriage. Heroine had no idea about any of this. So she decides to leave him. At the last moment she opts out of boarding the plane she was supposed to get on, and goes to a coffee shop. The hero finds her there panicking because the plane crashed and he'd thought she was on it.
3. The hero and heroine get married and she leaves him because she thinks he's cheating on her. Later they get back together for some reason, and are trying to make the marriage work. She goes to the airport to pick him up while he's returning from a business trip, and sees him leaving the plane with the same woman she thinks he cheated on her with. He also sees her, but she runs away and though he gives chase he doesn't find her. He also brought back a teddy bear with him?
That's all I remember. They're not part of a series and I don't even know if they're by the same author. Any help would be appreciated :)

Third book could be The Reluctant Husband by Lynne Graham, it has the same teddy bear scene at the airport.

Yes, it is a similar storyline, but not the book I'm looking for. Thanks for suggesting this. I'll be adding it to my reading list!

I found 1. As well. It's Melanie Milburne's The Greek's Convenient Wife

The H’s wife, whom he loved,?couldn’t have a child so the h, who was a younger sister to the wife, became a surrogate. The H practically doesn’t see the h. Then the wife dies (while h is still pregnant I think) and H became jerky towards the h. All ends happily of course. Not much info I know. Please help!

Someone helped me find this one. Island Baby

Is it by chance Make Way for Mommy?

h is a children's book illustrator... she illustrates H as a magician in her unpublished book and due to some accident she has a scar on her neck which she covers with a scarf and H has a son who can't speak. H's son loves h, when there was a storm he hides in h's cottage. H misunderstands h, thinks she had an affair with his sisters husband and in the end h finds out H is a married man and leaves him even as he stays away from his wife. H divorces his wife and reconciles with h and HEA.
I remember the story but not the title of the book. Somebody please help...

Maybe it is this Her Sister's Baby

Maybe Love Island

That's the one, thank you!

Sounds very Penny Jordan-ish.

Is this an older Harlequin?

No not old it has more of a contemporary feel to it from what I remember

Driving Force is similar but no secret baby.

Yes it's very similar but It's not it. The secret child and horses is something I remember really well.

Renu wrote: "Hi everyone, There's this Harlequin Presents/ Mills and Boon book that I've been trying to track down for what feels like forever...
I read this recently. Will check my read books and get back to you.
Some more details of the book I read. h recently had surgery to restore damage to her larynx to allow her to speck. It was damaged in an accident when she was 16. H thinks the h had an affair with his brother-in law. But that man was only using her to get "Caught" so his wife (H's sister) would divorce him so he could marry the woman he really wanted.
H is a publisher, and h is actually illustrating a book that (unknown to H) his company has agreed to publish when it is completed.
h comes to an island to finish the book, rents a cottage. The H actually owns it, and is staying in the big house. There is a cyclone, h has to stay in big House. She and his son are friends. Is this it?

The H and h are married I think but separate due to reasons I have forgotten. All I remember is that she is told that the child was born dead but actually the child is growing up with the husband. She goes there as a nanny hoping no one recognizes her and because she wants to see her child. Just not able to recall the name of the book nor author. TIA
