I am trying to find 2 books which I read years ago, I remember some details, they are both set in medieval times and have one similar detail1- The first book is set in the highlands, all I remember is that the heroine is stranded in the snow at the end of the book while she is pregnant and finds shelter in a cave where she gives birth alone, her husband finds her later
2-The second book is probably set in medieval England, here again at the end of the book, the heroine is also forced to give birth in a cave, she was hiding from someone and found escape in the cave. In this case I think the hero might have been with her or found her just as she was birthing
Please help!!

I think it is set in Spain, possibly France. Maybe H takes her to a cabin or remote house? The logs fall from a truck I think, h not injured but got scrapes from rescue of children. I think UK author - sorry can't recall anything else.

Shannon Drake aka Heather Graham aka Heather Graham Pozzessere (maybe spelled wrong) had a book where her h gave birth in a cave. It was a viking story. It's a full novel. Sorry I cant remember the name. One of her very early books. As I recall there were spin off books from it eg. the son or descendants. Maybe someone else can take it from here.
@Sali .. for the book where h gives birth in a cave, try Teresa J. Reasor Highland Moonlight ... there's a scene like that in the beginning ...

Hi, I am trying to find books where heroine or hero are reunited with their adopted child. Similar to The Birth Mother - Tara Taylor Quinn or Merry Christmas - Emma Darcy. Would be grateful for any recommendations.
Hi all. Am looking for a book. Where H and h have a marriage of convenience or something close….h wants the marriage to become real but H is busy escorting his ex fiancé to all events etc. unfortunately cannot remember much more. Hope someone can help me with the name of this book. Thanks

A friend of Reddit has asked me to help her a find a specific book, but I'm completely stumped.Basically she only remembers one scene from the book very well - the h has gone out on the town because she thinks the H is messing about on her.
Part of the problem is that the H is spending an awful lot of time with a very artistic OW (the friend says she thinks that the OW later turns out to be a lesbian, but the h did not know that). It's possible that this is in fact the book where the H has commissioned a painting of the h from the OW, and that's why he spent so much time with her.
Anyway, the h has gone out on the town, the H fetches her, and at some point during the transfer from club to home, she says that he probably wants to lock her in the attic since he's ashamed of her.

Hi, Looking out for 3 HPs based on only one scene in each book. Don't recall anything else about the story Not sure whether they are vintage on contemporary
1) I think H-h are married. I think h insults the H when he tries to consummate the marriage. In anger he tells her he'll not touch her again. If she wants to make love, then she knows where his room is. Toward the end of the book now that the h has fallen in love with her husband, she goes to his room in a sexy nightwear and the H watches in amusement her trying to seduce him till she gives up and tells him to take over.
2) I think H-h are married. I'm not sure if it's a mine mishap or devastating flood in the region where they live. I think it's the latter. They go to help the locals and when things are under control H is searching for the h when someone directs him to a house or room and there he finds surrounded by little kids. All are asleep including h with a baby in her arms. He wakes her up and tells her Let's go home.
3) The Hero is a rich guy but for some reason --I think to teach snobbish rich heroine a lesson-- pretends to be poor and takes her to his foreman's hut I think. They have to even share a narrow bed. I think the book had a gothic feel it.
Hope someone can help me find these books
Hi I am really hoping someone knows the name of this book. The heroine lives with her mother who is a bit mentally ill and hosts tea parties with people she think are Elizabeth Taylor and Prince Andrew. The heroine also has a business with two friends and they work in renovation. The hero and heroine had a fling whilst she works at his dads office. She gets pregnant and the hero adopts the baby in secret. A few years later the heroine goes to renovate the hero house and finds out he had the son that she kept secret from him. Thanks

The Wilderness Hut
The Magic of His Kiss
I posted this about a year ago, still looking. Can anyone recommend a harlequin "hero back from the dead" shelf? I think I first read this book when I was looking for a book where the hero returns and heroine thought he was dead.
•I'm looking for a book, presents or desire - I guess it could be suspense - around 2000. Hero vanished before his wife could tell him she was pregnant. Book begins with heroine kissing the H's BFF and realizing that it's time for her to move on - baby is 9-10 months old, I think. H's BFF departs, and there is a knock on front door hero returns, heroine faints.
•He has been in witness protection / deep cover and they have to go on the run, because the only person who knew about the undercover operation has been killed and their lives are in danger. Something to do with South American drug cartel, maybe. I remember them going to a safe house and Hero has to ride a push bike in to town to get baby supplies. The H's BFF is in love with the h.
•UPDATE - Found it FINALLY
It was 2011, Harlequin Romantic Suspense The CEO's Secret Baby

Hi all, Does any one know if this one book where the heroine's child is adopted (there was some coercion/deception involved) and the investigator she hired has traced the child to some tropical islands. She goes there herself to find said child and meets the hero. She's initially unaware of this but the hero's daughter is actually her child. The main person behind this deception is the hero's (Ex?) wife who is an absolute horrid witch.

Was there ever a Lindsay Armstrong book where H had an affair with his stepMom? I think the h had a resemblance to her.
ANA wrote: "Was there ever a Lindsay Armstrong book where H had an affair with his stepMom? I think the h had a resemblance to her."Is it The Heart of the Matter ?
No, definitely not Heart of the Matter. In the one I am thinking, the affair with the H's stepmother definitely took place (not a misunderstanding). I'm just not certain it was a LA book.

Does anyone have any ideas on my "hero presumed dead returns" request (25th Aug post). I have searched and searched and searched some more. FOUNDIt was 2011, Harlequin Romantic Suspense The CEO's Secret Baby

I apologize if this is redundant for you but...
1) go to fictiondb.com
2)search for Silhouette Desire or Harlequin Presents...
3)select Silhouette Desire (series)
4)click the middle box--to the right of sort.
This will bring up a list of the images in publication order along with a description. Possibly tedious but it can be helpful, particularly if you have an approximate date and a sense of what line you are looking for. Even better if you suddenly recognize the cover. At the very worst you may find something else that interests you.

Iris, Thanks - I've searched every which way in FictionDB, I've also used google book search. Have purchased/read/discounted three other books in past week. I just remember finding it on a thread where people were talking about dead/injured/returning hero. I read originally on my old Kindle, no backup.

Does anyone know this book where the heroine works for the hero and she's so super efficient and composed at work that no one realises how depressed her mental state is until the hero visits her home. Her dad who was cold to her all her life passed away some time ago and her cat that she loved a lot passed away only a few days ago.
