This sounds like a Lynne Graham book to me. Do you remember any other details?

No, not really. Just remember the h being afraid the H was there to take the baby from her and him telling her previously she could keep anything she accumulated from the marriage when it was dissolved. I don't remember if she just left or the H officially decided to end the marriage. The h was pretty frail too when he found her. Sorry I can't be more helpful. If I think of anything I'll post it.

All I can remember is that it's about a line of supermarkets and the heroine works for the hero or with him. I think her father used to own a small grocery store and she's a bit resentful about the big supermarket line concept that makes it hard for small business owners. I'm not sure but maybe it's a yvonne whittal or a winspear book. Help please!

One title that comes to mind is Tara Pammi's Blackmailed by the Greek's Vows, but that heroine has only 2 brothers and I thought the whole married-for-business-reasons bit was overshadowed by his coldness/emotional cruelty during their marriage.

Maybe Food for Love by Rachel Lindsay

Omg yes, that's it, thank you so much!!

That's it! Thank you so much!

Sounds a bit like Bride for Real - really not sure, it depends on the order I guess. They were married but separated due to loss of a baby. While they were separated, hero unbeknownst to him, got OW from book 1 pregnant. h is pregnant towards the end of the book.

Possibly Savage Obsession by Diana Hamilton.

Maybe Bride of His Choice by Emma Darcy

Oh yes that's the book, thank you very much!

Thank you so much!!!!!

In this book, the h's sister(ow) and the H were lover. They stayed at different places and wrote letters to each other. Somehow, it was always the h who replied to H on behalf of her. H and OW were going to marry, thus H was waiting for her at the railway station, I guess. But ow didn't come, in her place h came to convey that ow ran away. H was devastated cause he really loved ow and besides he had made all arrangement. He was going to get a shop. I think he was going to buy it but I think it was something like he could buy or get the shop only if he is a married man. So he was going to lose the shop as well, he wasn't rich. The h suggested they should get marry in order to get the shop. They got married, H was a gentleman, never blamed her. He showed h her room which was supposed to be the ow's rrom. He had bought new furniture for ow.
h used to help H with his shop. She used to make biscuits/ cookies for train passengers and sell it near the railway station. Everyone loved her biscuits. Then at last the ow can and told the h to leave cause now she was sure she loved H and wanted to marry him. Ow said that she had kept her things near the stairs and she should leave before H comes. h left. H found out what happened, went to a forest(i think) and found her their. It was the forest where H had brought h for a walk.
They had a HEA
please tell me it's name if you know.

I only found one Harlequin Presents book written in the 70s with a Baron in it. It is,
The Sun of Summer by Lillian Peake

The book sounds interesting, but it’s not the one I’m searching. The hero lives for some time in England too, I’m not certain that he is a baron. They are definitely married, long separated and have a young son, he doesn’t know about the child though.

Thanks for your effort but this is not the one I am looking for. But I read this book anyway and liked it very much. Thanks again

Maybe:
Undone by His Touch By Annie West

I think it is a book by Elizabeth Ashton:
Dangerous to Know

Yes, thatˋs exactly the book. Thank you so, so much.

Hi Nawal, this does not sound like a Harlequin Presents. You may want to try posting it in the Contemporay section.

Hi Se I went through the descriptions of most of Helen brook's works, nothing seems to ring a bell. Are you sure it was HB?

Maybe: True Enchanter by Susan Napier

Thank you! That's it! It was driving me crazy and nothing from vague keyword searches.

No problem. My favorite search tool is the one on fictiondb.com. That is how I found this one. I enter any keywords I know and Mills and Boon UK as the publisher. That works most times. Enjoy your book. You tempted me into putting it on my TBR pile.

Thanks for the tip! Looking forward to my reread--for whatever reason, I have remembered this one (vaguely anyway) for a very long time!
