1. The heroine goes to meet the hero to talk to him about her sister who is pregnant, and is stating the father is the hero's soon to be BIL, who has previously had a reputation as a playboy, but has supposedly mended his ways since he met the hero's sister. The hero's had reservations but the dude seems to make his sister happy. The sister is emotionally or physically fragile and hearing that the fiance may have cheated on her could cause her a major set back. Turns out the baby daddy was actually the hero's older brother and the confusion occurred because of a name mix-up.
2. The heroine gets pregnant by the hero via a one night stand, but for a change, while she's willing to have the child, she does not want to keep it, and is willing to give up full custody to the hero post delivery, and is staying with the hero for the duration of the pregnancy. This due to some trauma she has owing to the fact that her foster sister has a debilitating genetic disease. Towards the end she finds her bio mom, who convinces her to keep the child and give the hero a chance.

I am looking for a book of which i mostly remember the ending.
The setting is middle east, an arab country. The hero might be a sheikh, arab prince or "just arab business man".
The heroine might be a princess or just every day woman.
What happens toward the end of the book is that the h goes to the oil factory, plant or something because she is being noble (smth happens, she wants to help and doesnt tell the H that she is going there) and the evil uncle or someone else attacks the factory and the hero rushes to help her. I think there was a shooting. I have a feeling she is a princess and the uncle or evil ruler of a neighbouring country and he doest want the h and H to be together because of political reasons. He wants to rule everything.
I just know she goes to this factory, there is a shooting and the hero rushes to her. And oil/gas is involved. The scene i described is super shot though, right at the end. It helps the hero confess his feelings.
I hope someone remembers. I think its an older book. Thank you

Your welcome Lu

I just remember this that the hero asks heroine to give him the dates when she will be most fertile and he will add it to his diary. Then they will only have sex on those days because he thinks that she is with him only to have a baby. They were husband wife i think. Maybe a contract marriage. I also remember that the heroine actually gave him her fertility calender and on the next fertile day he had some meeting and he apologised that he wont be able to oblige her this time.
Remember only this much if it makes any sense to anyone.

I only remember a few vague things. The heroine worked for the hero as a secretary/assistant/typist. I think he had a company that dealt with computers/technology. At one point, she had to drop everything and fly with him somewhere where he had set up a temporary office with other employees. I think they were dealing with some sort of company crisis at this time.
I believe she was either casually dating someone or led him to believe that she was involved with someone. Not sure about that though
There was this one part where he is really tired after work, but shows up at her apartment for some reason. And he just sleeps for a while on her sofa. I think she finally gives in to him sometime soon after that.

The only book I can think of is The Baby Plan by Susan Gable. It was a marriage of convenience because the hero wanted a baby and they would divorce after the baby was born. I remember a calendar and the H would take the h's temperature every morning.

There are a couple of Sara Craven's books with a similar scene. The Santangeli Marriage and Wife in the Shadows and one more I think but I can't remember which.

He fired her after their night of passion because she was living with a man. She became pregnant and is going to marry the O.M. in a marriage of convinces. The O.M. is her friend from her hometown who her sister is in love with. Thank you for your help

it,s a trilogy that starts with the heroine meeting again with the hero after 4-5 years(he was in prison during this time). He thinks that she is guilty for putting him in jail and wants to get even. They sleep together(the heroine was a virgin),then he acts vengeful to her and leaves her ashamed.Later she realises that is pregnant and contacts the hero.He strongly refuses to recognise the child but deep down knows that is his child. Now he is engaged to another woman but neither of them love each other.Heroine gives birth to a healthy boy into the hero's house with the support of his mother and fiancee. She asks him if he wants to know the child but he strongly refuses and ejects her and the boy out his house.
In the second book he tries to reconnect with his son and the heroine and the story goes on."

I can't think of any trilogy in the HP line. There were a few books that were written as duos. LG had one set. But, I don't recall any trilogy's with the same characters.
Are you sure these were HPs?

A Kristen Ashley?

Thank you in advance!!!

The Billionaire's Pregnant Mistress

I initially thought it was and some people on r/romancebooks agreed that it SOUNDS like a KA, but I've done a recent reread of most of her books except the Chaos ones and it doesn't appear to be any of them, unless I missed one.
It does sound a lot like one of hers doesn't it?

It does, but most of her heroes tend to have dead ex-druggy wives. You may want to check out the Lists on Goodreads, but not sure what you could put in for a search.
Single fathers
Bad exes
I hate it when I can't remember a book especially when I have already read it.

Wild guess here. I'm pretty sure the mother of the kids had an "addiction" issue. Breaking Old Habits. Could be way off on this one.

I was actually eyeballing that one as a possible match, I should definitely have a closer look!

I'll try Bad Exes and Single Dads, thanks for the suggestions!

what i remember.....
the H fell in love with the h when he was a teenager. she was older, and they knew each other because his mother or sister married her brother. they went back packing and canoeing together.
he gave her a gold ankle bracelet as a gift-he sa it as some sort of a promise or making a commitment in his heart that one day they would be together.
she had a boyfriend and stopped coming around as much. she became a nurse.
he owned a construction company-i think. but he as hurt on the job, so she came to take care of him. (she had broken up with boyfriend-i don't think they were married, but i think they did live together)
she has a hard time because she feels it is wrong because her brother will think it is wrong-because he is sort of like her nephew-and she is older. he takes her on a date-i think he lives on the beach, and for some reason i think a boardwalk or wharf is involved....
she sees young girls staring at him, and she worries because she is older....
eventually she talks to her brother-because she has fallen in love with him, and her brother tells he they have always known that he is in love with her, and he has never wavered in that. they knew when he gave her the ankle bracelet. and they dont think there is anything wrong with it.....

Bought by Her Husband Sharon Kendrick

This is probably not an HP, try the Silhouette Romance line back in the 1980's -2009, however only Anne Mather really did this type of older h, younger H book in HPlandia so you might want to check her backlist. I will check my stacks and see if I can find it.
Fiction db https://www.fictiondb.com/search/sear... has books and descritions for the silhouettes.

You're welcome.

Sadly the one that I'm looking for is not this one :(
I thought maybe it was Soaring by KA, but while the ex in that one does have a drinking problem, she does her best to overcome it and the kids never phone the h for help.
Pretty sure this is going to annoy me till the day I die :(

Does the heroine undergo some sort of military / police training?
Is she on the verge of marrying someone else?

Is it Athica Lane by Brynne Asher?

could it be this one?

Thank you for the suggestion! I read the reviews and a lot of the details aren't ringing any bells. But the gist sounds pretty close so I can't dismiss it entirely until I get my hands on a copy and read it.

Another possibility:
A Gift for a Lion by Sara Craven

It definitely feels right and it's set up to have that scene - Cam's kid has her number, the ex is not a cool person, and the kids really like her. I'd totally forgotten that this book ever existed and that's tragic because I really, really like it!
Will report back if it turns out to be The One.
EDIT: IT'S THE ONE! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
