Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

Passionate intruder by Lilian Peake

Please help! It may be harlequin or mills and boon,
It’s a romance novel "office..."
Must be another one, I recall the twin book, was set in Gold Coast, they went to the casino one night. The two I can't recall in answer to SMA are London based (I don't think either of my suggestions are the book because the changing scenes were not for date with someone other than the H). Maybe the stocking/tights thing pops up often?

I think it's The Greek Prince's Chosen Wife

1. The hero marries the heroine’s step sister / cousin / best friends something. That’s how they first meet. She’s a bridesmaid that the wedding. Spark..."
Hi All.. I posted this a while back. 1. Has been solved, any help guessing the other two?

The heroine was some kind of a scientist, and the hero was a friend of her brother. Both the brother and the hero were from some kind of solders, maybe ex maybe current, and the heroine's life was in danger and the hero was trying to protect her.
In the rest of the series comprised of books where the leads were the heroine's brothers in turn (She had several). They were also current or former soldiers as was the heroine's father.
And one of the stories involved a brother whose wife had been kidnapped by some kind of psychopath and when she came back (either she escaped or he let her go) the psycopath had tattooed a butterfly on her.

The heroine was some kind of a scientist, and the hero was a friend of her brother...."
This sort of sounds like Lucy Monroe's Mercenary/Goddard Project series. Ready It's a family of scientists and spies...

I thought someone solved this a while back. Kelly Hunter series, can't remember which one. Edit - probably The West Family or Bennett family series. (they brothers/sisters)

Hi Se, thanks, but no that's not it either. The heroine definitely had brothers and while I'm not 100% sure if her book was the first of the series, I know it was definitely not the last.

Sandra Marton wrote many about former military/special ops guys often as part of series too.

Hi All,
This one's been found. I think. I'm fairly certain, but not a 100%. Some details don't match but I don't know if that's because I was mistaken. I will post for sure once I've read it and confirmed. Many thanks to everyone who helped.

Poorvi,
There’s this series by Maya Banks called KGI.
In this series, in the 1st book the heroine is missing /kidnapped/ presumed dead at the beginning of the book...... But this series is more about the hero and his brothers and other associated characters. But the heroine is not a scientist.
There is another series by Christine Feehan. The Ghostwalker series. It is a mix of science fiction-cum-paranormal. Here the heroine in the first book is a scientist and so is her father. She has adoptive sisters who go on to have their own books.
In this series, in one of the books, the heroine has a butterfly tattoo on her ankle.

Hi Pravana,
So, I have read the KGI series and yes you're right it bears a lot of similarities to the one I described, but it's not the one I'm looking for.
As I mentioned in an earlier comment, I might have found what I'm looking for, but I'm not sure. I think the series is the Bodyguards series by Donna Young. I'm not 100% sure, because the second book I described, the one about the brother who's wife is kidnapped, that isn't in DY's series at all. I'm now wondering if I might have gotten the two mixed up together. I'm looking for a copy of DY's books, and I will update once I know for sure.
Thanks for helping :)

So I am really fuzzy on the book. 1980’s or 90’s....the hero and heroine meet after their older parents marry each other or are getting married...and they all stay at the same house...I believe he is priest/clergy/or just super judgy and she might be a nude art model? I know it’s a profession that he definitely has issue with...he tries hard to fight his attraction for her....hopefully I am not totally off the mark . I just remember the angst was pretty good!

Sounds like Sandra Brown's Tempest in Eden

or a prince brings a chef he dated from the states to his desert kingdom for his wedding feast and he keeps her there despite his fiancee being there. The fiancee is very demanding and is very fussy. I'd really appreciate the name of this book. Thanks in advance.

I can't remember the name of this book except for a few fuzzy details. There's a scene where the h and the H come upon each other in the woods and (I think the H is engaged to h's cousin??? I could be wrong) I think they have sex. Anyways, the h comes back from the woods looking all ravished and her family or friends assume that she's been assaulted or worse and the h is too meek to say otherwise so she goes along with it and the H is blamed. I think the h gets pregnant from that??? idk. Thank you!

I'm looking for this book where I think the Hero was wealthy and belonged to a profession that made him pretty well known (business man/actor/judge etc). And there was a serial killer in town, and the hero kept seeing the crimes committed through the Serial killer's eyes, at some point I think he even thought he himself was having a psychotic break and doing the killing. Eventually we find that the killer is the Hero's long lost twin brother I think the hero was adopted and the twin was resentful because he missed out on the good life that the hero had. They each could see through the other's eyes from time to time because of the twin bond which is why the hero suspected himself for a while.
Edit: There is a love making scene between the hero and heroine which involves mild bondage. This stood out very prominently in my mind because to date it's the only time I've encountered kinky sex in an HP novel. (I don't follow the Desire / Blaze lines, so I wouldn't know about those)
Edit 2: I originally posted that I thought the "heroine was a reporter (Not too sure but I think) and the hero was a judge (More sure of this than the reporter bit)" but I am less certain of this detail now.

I don't know if there's a twin brother in this, but the H is a judge and the h is a reporter.
Heart Of The Night by Gayle Wilson

Hi Amber (Daisymau),
Thanks for trying but that's not it. To be honest, I'm less certain about the main character's professions than I am of the other details. I did find a copy of the book and go through it and realised that I had read it before. So perhaps I got the two mixed up.

ISO title... a 90s Harly, I think. Highlights & lowlights I recall beyond my rage:
• absolute ahole H dumps h (singer I think) for sophisticated OW; iirc he cheated and the dumping was humiliating. Marries OW, has baby
• dishrag h lurved him deeply so naturally goes into deep freeze, focusing on music career. (I want to say opera singer or classical musician.)
• years later she sees H in audience at her concert. His wife is dead and 𝘯𝘰𝘸 he wants h to marry him and mother his 4 yo son bc he recalls how loving and maternal she was, and only the best will do for the seed of his god-like loins. He’ll reward her w/the pleasures of his magic peen, too. Of course, despite her lame refusals he somehow inveigles his way back into her life (moves into her building or buys her contract without her knowledge... something like that) and this super-busy talent is suddenly devoting all her time to him and his kid
• true to Harlequins, H’s a smug prick, arrogant, sex on a stick, and unapologetic for what he did. In fact, he taunts that she still wants him and wants to mother his son, but won’t admit it bc her pride is still hurt over 𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘶𝘮𝘱. Also guilts her over denying an innocent little boy a wonderful mother just to hurt him, the father. Yes, really. 🤣

I'm sure this isn't the right book, but in In Defense of Love by Kathleen Creighton the H is a judge and the h is a courtroom artist. I know there's no twins in the story and I can't remember what the court case was about. The book takes place in Los Angeles.

Hi Amber (Daisymau),
You were right (Umm wrong?)
I mean, your suspicion that 'In Defence of Love" wasn't the correct book was right. But thanks for trying. :)

country is England
anyway she hates him but he keeps following her.. there is an art exhibition too maybe. it could be a penny jordan I'm not sure why I keep thinking it is
thanks in advance if you try to find it for me

1. The hero has issues of some sort, alcohol, anger, risk taking behaviour something, and he's bullied/blackmailed into seeking therapy by his brother in law, with the fact that the sister is pregnant and does not need the added stress of worrying over the hero. The heroine is the therapist who is to be working with him at this new very private resort of some kind. The hero and his sister are potentially the recently discovered, prince and princess of some European country who were lost in a coup. The hero has no memory of any of this because he was very young when all this went down and he doesn't think this is true, but more and more evidence seems to indicate that it is. He struggles a lot with this information and eventually invites the heroine to come join him on his private island. The heroine helps him deal, and they bond and fall in love yadda yadda yadda, but after that she leaves because she is infertile and as the ruler of a country, the hero will need heirs. He invites her to his coronation and convinces her to stay saying that even if they don't have children of their own his sister's children can be heirs. This book is the second of a series, the first is the sister and BIL's story.
2. The hero and heroine are married and separated. The hero has a big loving family and the heroine feels somewhat uneasy with them because she grew up with just her mother and she doesn't know how to handle them. The heroine's mom was mean, an addict, and had a hand in the separation. She also caused an accident while the pregnant heroine was driving her to a clinic of some sort and caused a miscarriage and heaped guilt on the heroine. Towards the end, the hero's father has a heart attack and while he's with his family the heroine begins to suspect that she's pregnant again. The hero calls her to come, but she's late because of doctors appointments and when the hero sees her with her bag he thinks she's leaving him again. The book is set in Australia or New Zealand.

Been trying to remember the name of this book but so far it's eluding me. Idk if I'm mixing up details or what :(
H is billionaire/millionaire/bajillionaire. He might've been Italian. The h works in TV news. At least part if not all of this takes place in Rome, where I think the H has an apartment. I think the h was the H's mistress but then she broke it off because she was catching feelings. h gets accidentally pregnant.
h is worried about her job since she won't be able to be in front of the camera as her pregnancy progresses and she puts off telling her work or anyone there. However, I think she got sick or something and her workplace found out. h was planning to quit when her place of work decided they wanted to her stay and that she could do segments about her pregnancy and whatnot.
I remember a very distinct scene where someone from work accompanies her to a pregnancy ultrasound appointment with a camera to film it as one of the segments and the H makes them get out and doesn't allow them to film. I think the H might have also confronted the h about her pregnancy (or vice versa) at a restaurant over dinner.

The Boss's Christmas Baby by Trish Morey has a scene with the H watching h put on stockings in the office.
Ruthless Greek Boss, Secretary Mistress by Abby Green is one of my favorites in this trope.
