Possibly:
A Savage Betrayal
(This Time, Forever #1)
by Lynne Graham

I am requesting for help in identifying two books. I have read them under the “Mills and Book” publication. Both the books were most probably published in the 1980’s but I could be mistaken.
SOLVED - Comrade Wolf
The first book …
The book is set in Europe.
The heroine is a heiress and kidnapped and held for ransom. Unbeknownst to her, The Hero has already infiltrated the gang. (I think the Hero’s niece has also been kidnapped - but not too sure). The heroine falls for her captor. A bit of Stockholm syndrome. They are overcome by the love force and come together in a fit of passion. He is called Wolf by the gang members. There’s a female gang member with whom the Hero is “forced” to have physical relationship. I remember this bit because she taunts the heroine over this. The heroine is rescued and returned to her father. A month or so later she finds out that her ordeal has left her with a “Little Gift” of the nine month variety. The heroine’s father and the doctor are concerned about her. Then suddenly there are unexpected visitors. A businessman and his sister from the very wealthy Santanaya family (Or some similar sounding name). Explanations are given and they have their HEA!!
SOLVED - This Man's Magic
The second book …
Not sure where it’s set but most probably UK.
Don’t remember the names of the Hero and Heroine. A bit of a Cinderella type story.
The heroine’s father or family owns an iconic jewellery store(s) or brand. The heroine has a passion for jewellery design and has undergone training? The heroine’s stepmother can’t stand the sight of her, so there’s an unspoken understanding that she can have whatever she wants but her father’s attention.
There’s either a ball for the launch of a new jewellery line or a jewellery exhibition and the heroine sneaks in to have a look. The Hero is suspicious of the Heroine and accosts her / accuses her of stealing. The Heroine reluctantly owns up to the family connection. The disbelieving Hero drags her off to confront the Heroine’s father. The father looking helplessly, apologetically at the heroine acknowledges her. This is the only scene that I remember from the book. The book cover has the heroine in a fabulous Blue Ball gown.
Thank you for the help.

Book #1 is Comrade Wolf by Madeleine Ker. I haven't read it but sounds interesting so added it to my TBR pile.
Book #2 may be This Man's Magic by Stephanie Wyatt.

Oh Good. I shelve like crazy because it drives me mad when I can't find a book. Glad I could help.

The Hero is a widower with a small girl.
The Heroine is a divorcee with a small boy.
The Hero’s deceased wife and the Heroine are Best friends.
After her mother’s death, the little girl is traumatised / withdrawn?
The Hero is based in Europe - probably Spain.
The Heroine is based in Canada or America.
For some reason, the Hero seeks out the Heroine (maybe to honour a promise to his wife). The Hero points out the benefits of their marrying and the heroine agrees to a marriage of convenience.
The little girl is hostile/cold to the heroine initially but thaws when the heroine starts narrating anecdotes about her mother. The little boy is pretty gung-ho about his new Daddy is happy with the changed circumstances.
Inevitably, they consummate their marriage in a fit of passion!!
And predictably .... the Heroine falls pregnant but is scared to tell her husband. Then... there’s some issue and the children sneak off somewhere and hide. Everyone is searching for them.
Here I’m a little bit vague.... The heroine also goes searching for the missing children and meets with an accident or falls off the cliff?
She’s finally rescued. The Hero and the Heroine finally admit and express their feelings for each other.
There’s a cute scene at the end where the little girl talks to the heroine about her dilemma in calling her ‘Mamma’ and the heroine comes up with a solution.

That is a good one by PJ. My all-time favorite 'kidnapping" story is Prisoner of Passion by Lynne Graham!

Thank you so much for the name of the book. I’ve been wanting to read this book for so long.

Pravana - If it wasn't for the "calling her mamma" bit you remembered, I would have struggled. I don't think Catherine Spencer writes anymore. My fave of hers would be The Costanzo Baby Secret

I think you might be right about The Secret Baby Revenge!! Unless there's another book that's very similar.
Don't think the second book I'm looking for is The Kanellis Scandal though.
But thank you!!!

I don’t know if this book was a Medical romance of Mills and Boon or a romance about Doctors.
The Hero is a Doctor and the Heroine is a nurse. They are married but estranged. And I think that having a child is the issue.
Probably the Heroine has suffered a miscarriage earlier and it had been an ectopic pregnancy.
The Hero and the Heroine are both volunteering for Médecins Sans Frontières. They are both surprised to be posted to the same place. The book is probably set in Africa.
There is no acrimony between them but there’s no rapprochement either, but that doesn’t stop them from being overtaken by passion. A few weeks later the Heroine is pregnant. I’m not sure if she informs the Hero.
Then comes the angst and tragedy. Unbeknownst to her this time also it is an ectopic pregnancy. One day the Heroine collapses due to the ruptured Fallopian tube and the Hero’s forced to operate on her. The Hero is in a dilemma. The tube is so badly damaged that the hero has no choice but to remove it, but also knows that the heroine is going to be very upset and blame him for destroying her chances of conceiving naturally. One of the nurses assisting in the surgery has the foresight to preserve the damaged Fallopian tube in a specimen jar. Only when presented with the evidence does the heroine believe that the hero had no choice but to remove it.
Very tragic. I don’t remember the ending but........ I don’t believe that there’s a true typical HP type HEA to this story. The ending is a bit unsatisfactory and vague?
Thank you for the help.

Brand new to this group. Hoping someone can help me find the name of this book. It may be a harlequin presents. Tthe heroine is a former model, gives up modeling due to panic attacks and is a fashion blogger. Hero may be a race car driver. They had an affair a few years back and she left him cause he crashed. Back together. she is best friends with his sister. The book starts with the sister planning her wedding and the H&h in a bar together with the sister and her fiancé.
Thanks so much for helping me find this book!

TBH - it sounds a bit like two books. I can match the panic attacks and ex-model, I don't recall a h leaving H because he crashed. I do remember a couple of books starting in restaurant or bar planning wedding. More info - how old is the book do you think? Any other details?

I am pretty sure I have this one. Can you remember anything else? Is hero Italian etc?

Is this it? Spanish Billionaire, Innocent Wife by Kate Walker?

Not that old. Maybe between 2010-2018. The h becomes a fashion blogger after she quits modeling. She is best friends with the H's sister but hides that she had an affair with him from the sister. One other detail I remember is the H crashes in Germany I think and that's when the h leaves him as she is not able to deal with his racing career. The sister also tries to fix by the h with another guy but there is no chemistry.

I just read Legacy of Shame by Diana Hamilton and it has a scene like you described. They are distant cousins and he is staying with her at her house when the scene happens.

ty - My Kindle remembers it now I put in the title - naughty Kindle. There are about four books with variations of the same story. Michelle Reid and Sara Craven, probably others. Thanks again :)

Shattered Trust by Jacqueline Baird

I just read Marco's Convenient Bride by Penny Jordan and she and her young charge drive off in his red Ferrari and crash it.

Thank you in advance.

Resending this information, hoping someone can help.

Many years = ??? 80's, 90's, 00's I do recall a similar story where the sister died from breast cancer (I think) and the travelling sister returned from which ever outpost she was working at. I think she didn't get home in time (distance to travel) for funeral and ended up moving in to help hero with the children. They got married and I think h got pregnant. I would not say the sister was a missionery, maybe a nurse or volunteer in far flung communities. Not sure if it's the same book you're looking for. I'll have to search for it.

At the Spaniard's Convenience Margaret Mayo

That sounds like Stacy Absolom's Ishbel's Party, but the H doesn't marry her sister.
If it is a Harlequin try Anne Mather's backlist - she is the HP Queen of keepin' it all in the family.

Hi. Thanks for replying. She doesn´t recall the date. But is the sister who gets pregnant and H also marries the h`s sister. The sister doesn`t die. The sister is not the missionary, h is.

Thank you! I´ll check them out.

I'm pretty sure the opening line was "He was not a hairy man but he was devastating without a shirt."
All I can remember is that the female protagonist has basically been seen as a little sister by the male protagonist until sparks fly.
Very little to go by, I know. But I'm really hoping this rings a bell with someone here. Thank you!

The Wedding in White by Diana Palmer

Yes, i did understand your original request. There is a book where the heroine had a sister who had cancer, they fell out over hero. The sister with cancer died and the heroine/sister returns from working overseas to move in with/help the hero and her dead sisters children. I believe they end up MOC. I think it was a harlequin superromance not more than 10 years old.

Looking for a book, not sure if presents or desire. H and h cannot stand each other. h best friend and H best friend are married. I think they are godparents to the couple's infant son. I think the book starts at christening party in New York. The couple are killed in a car accident in the Sicilian or Italian mountains while visiting their son's grandmother. h and H are to share custody of the infant. They travel to Siciliy/Italy and the grandmother threatens to sue for custody. They pretend to be engaged and then end up getting married. H is wealthy but works as either a lawyer or district attorney or public defender. h is unemployed and was preparing to go to an interview when the H arrived to tell her about their best friends accident. Any ideas?

No, that's not it - thank you for suggestion though. Other than through their friends they've not been involved. They hate each other. When H arrives at h's place to tell her of their friends accident, they do end up having a romp on her sofa.

Vague recollection - have you checked Cathy Williams books? Chantelle Shaw has several "miracle" pregnancies. I recall a book where the H and h were in Paris when h miscarried. Haven't been able to track it down to check if it fits description. Good luck, keen to read if someone identifies.
