Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

More heroines should run over their heroes.

LOL no I don't remember anything like that. It was more like she destroyed the car to piss him off/ drove off and caused accident as she's a bad driver.

I agree, it was on her wedding day, too. Followed by amnesia.

1. Hero and heroine were together in the past before the start of the book. At the beginning of the book, the heroine needs money or help from the hero so she proposes that she'll become his mistress for a set amount of time. At the end of that time, she ends up leaving without any fuss. This is the part I'm not sure about...he pursues and finds out that she's hidden his child from him for all these years from the first time they were together.
2. Heroine is forced by her wealthy grandfather to marry the hero. Heroine didn't grow up with the grandfather's financial support. Hero expects her to be a spoiled brat, and is surprised whenever she acts otherwise. This seems to be a common trope, and I unfortunately don't remember many details. It is definitely not Sale Or Return Bride or The Greek's Virgin Bride

2. What about Blackmailed into Marriage?

Possibly Million-Dollar Love-Child by Sarah Morgan.

Read the reviews and I don't think I've ever read that. Also H and h in unknown book #2 did not have any children prior to the marriage

Hmm the blurb seems to match. But I read one of the reviews and it said she needed the money because the child had been kidnapped and that doesn't sound right so I'm inclined to say no

Only one other guess The Sicilian's Marriage Arrangement, otherwise, good luck!

The one I'm thinking of the heroine is a Pollyanna who is sure the hero has amnesia or something as she knows he'll come back for her.
When he sees her with her plot moppet he thinks she has moved on. She gets mad and stomps off and then he realizes the baby may be his.
I thought it was a Lynne Graham but can't find it.
Thanks for any help.

I think I found one of your books. In Fatal Deception by Sally Wentworth the h is raising her brother's baby and the H thinks the baby is his.

Thank you so much! I think it's definitely this book, although the ending seems different (I might have confused the ending with another book though.)

Maybe Desert Prince, Defiant Virgin by Kim Lawrence

I have a "she wants revenge" shelf you can look at.

What about Desert Prince, Bride of Innocence by Lynne Graham? It sounds similar but in that book he buys her old horse for her not a camel.

I'm trying to look for a book where the details are kinda vague bc i forgot. I remember the H owns a farm and that the h has loved him for a while, something happened between the two and she moved away and a few years later she gets called back by H's sister (who hates the h and purposely tried to keep them a part). The h comes back to live on that farm to help (I think?) and I remember the H was in a horrible accident and that his leg is injured (I think he's super upset by the fact that the h didn;t even visit him after the accident - even though he asked for her but we find out that the sister was supposed to write to the h but she didnt). Plus i think there is this OW who the h thinks the H will get married to but discovers towards the end that the OW was forcing herself onto the H.
Sorry if the details are too vague and thanks in advance! :)

OMG I'd love to see your bookshelf! :)

The book is part of a series that takes place in a small backwoods town. The h is in her early 20's and is "in love/crushing" on her best friend (Luke?) Unbeknownst to her (Luke?) is in a relationship with her brother (Beau?) I honestly have no idea if these names are correct but when I'm trying to find the book these names keep popping in my head. Anyhoo she hits on her bff and her brother gets mad and kind of forces her to go to college. That's when we meet the H. He is her professor who gives her a bad grade on a paper and she gets mad about it. Other plot points I remember are she lives in either an apartment or off-campus housing and fights with her neighbor through the wall and the neighbor turns out to be the professor's son. The H and h spend the weekend together and she takes him home to meet her family where angst ensues due to the bff. Also, she has depression and the professor tries to help her. I really enjoyed this book and would like to continue the series but I can't remember the name or author. It's driving me crazy!
Other minor details include the H and h running into each other at a bar (early in the book) and at the end, the H and h take the H's son to visit h's family and they go tp(?) her brother's house. (whew, that sentence was intense)
Any help GREATLY appreciated!!

This is a series book..... It's harlequin book modern

Wrong heirs duo from Dani Collins - The Consequence He Must Claim The Marriage He Must Keep

This is sort of like First Love, Last Love by Carole Mortimer. Only the mother keeps her identity secret from the h.

The heroine was at a party and got a job offer from a famous writer to become her companion. The writer planned to move to an island and live there and the heroine had to decide before she leaves. The heroine was hurt by the hero so she said yes. At last the hero went after her to that island and the got their hea. Also, I remember that I felt very sorry for the heroine because of their conflict before that party and job offer. I think she was really hurt and it was very sad.
Btw it,s an older harlequin and this not my first try to find it, I'm just desperate.

Book most likely took place in Greece/Sicily/Italy but I could be wrong. And I think they H and h visited this church earlier in the book on an outing. And in the end of the book, the h goes back here and H finds her. Then the aforementioned "I love yous" happen.
Can't seem to conjure up any other memories of this book.

Not sure if this is the book - don't get too excited, I do not remember the name. H & h lost a baby or infant, years before, i think buried at the church yard which is in several scenes within the book. The epilogue has the H&h 10 years later, riding bikes with their two children through the church paths and they visit the grave. If it sounds right, others may remember. I thought that was an LG or PJ book.

The part about the grave and the epilogue you described don’t really ring any bells. But I suppose I’d have to read it to be sure. So here’s hoping someone knows the name

I remember the cute baby camel with the big soft eyes and buying it in the market as part of racing camel stable. I don't remember the book at the moment. I did look through my "Sheikh shelf" and Susan Mallery loves to put camels in her Desert Rogues series. There is even one where the sheikh has a camel racing stable, but when I scanned it, I couldn't find the scene with the camel market.
The other possibility is Alexandra Sellers Sons of the Desert series
I'll keep looking and post back if I have any luck finding a baby camel!

This must be Secret Seduction bySusan Napier. Fantastic book, emotional read.

I just read that and one other Susan Napier book last week, I must have skipped the epilogue and forgot it belonged to that book, lol. So that is not the book Rosalyn is looking for. I also remember a Greek Island book with a "significant" church/garden setting.
Visconti's Forgotten Heir has a garden scene near the end. Neither of them say "you'd have to be blind", pretty close though. H coerces h to admit she loves him by implying he's going to marry someone else.

I’m looking for an older Harlequin Presents. I believe the heroine is a model and has black hair, she was the ward of the hero’s family I THINK. And I think her modelling is very specific, something like she only does white. They’re sleeping together but hate each other and she’s tried to break it off. It’s all these tiny details and I’m not even sure they relate to the same book lol

I think that is Miranda Lee or Emma Darcy - pretty sure it's in one of their collections. Probably late 90's I shouldn't be lazy. I really hated this book.

The book was before 2000. Probably US or UK. No bedroom scenes in the present. They talked, explanations were made about the father’s lies and a HEA. Their son was probably between 3-5.

maybe Dark Summer Dawn ?

“It’s a about a girl and a guy who have a fling and she tell the guy she can’t have kids so I think they don’t use any form of protection. The girl was told i think by her mother that she can’t have kids. She ends up pregnant and she don’t want to tell the guy. He figures it out (I don’t remember how) and then he goes to confront her. He start naming food in front of her to make her uncomfortable and admit she is pregnant. They go by the doctor and the doctor confirms that she only had a very slim chance to get pregnant and that the pregnancy is like a miracle . The heroine moves in with the guy and then she miscarries. She get depressed and the hero tries to help her but she moves back home. Their reunion is in a restaurant kitchen where she is cutting onions and tell the hero that it is the onion that makes her cry.“
Any ideas?

Challenging Dante (A Bride for a Billionaire #4) by Lynne Graham has a scene where she wrecks his high end sportscar when he is teaching her how to drive.
