I know this!!! I'll be right back.

Rafael's Suitable Bride???

@Robbin I need to check out Greek’s Chosen Wife to be completely sure but from the description and reviews, it doesn’t seem familiar. The fact that they were married for 8 years doesn’t sound right.
In the book I’m looking for, the hero and heroine had only just met around the time of the wedding towards the beginning of the book. Had not known each other prior to that. And the book focuses on the weeks/months immediately after their meeting and wedding
Also, i vaguely remember that the wedding/reception was attended by a lot of the hero’s extended family members. And at least the reception took place in an outdoor setting right outside the hero’s house where they spent their first night. I don’t remember if they were intimate that first night but I think they could still hear the music from the reception outside. I realize that’s probably not a helpful detail and I honestly don’t know why I vaguely remember that and not the actual plot
Still not 100% sure whether the heroine had a physical disability or disfigurement or if I mixed that part up with another book

Your instincts were correct: Complicated by Kristen Ashley.

That was fast! Thank you. Will be reading it again tonight.

Taggart's Woman Carole Mortimer

I am so glad! :P

One chance at love by Carole Mortimer?

The heroes had a fight in the last part of the book. The h went to a party and met there a popular female author that offered her a job as a typist and companion. That female writer planned to move to an island and the h had to work and live with her on that island. In the end the H came after the h and they sorted out their problems and had their hea

Savage Surrender by Charlotte Lamb? Not sure if the person who offered her the job is an author though

It's not the one. The person that offered her a job was definitely an author and they met at a party

Read it a while back, 5 or so years? Might have been published earlier though, would like to read it again to consider if it actually was a book as good as I remember ..."
I think it is,
Princess in the Iron Mask
by Victoria Parker

1) H and h were married when he goes to London, leaving her behind. H is told by his parents that h was upset and left him. He believes them. Later he visits one of their estates and finds her living there. Apparently she had gone there for a short visit and was never upset about not going to London with him. She became pregnant and had a difficult pregnancy, she lost the baby and has heart problems. H discovers his parents lied to him. At the end, they are together and H realises that h is sickly and has heart issues that she will not recover from. Plus there wont be any babies due to her poor health but he loves her and is happy to take care of her all her life
2) All I remember of this one is that H and h are married and h is pregnant when they decide to visit his maternal grandmother for Christmas. H was brought up by the grandmother when he was a boy until he went to school and has never been back to see her since then. They almost don't go but h insists they go. When they go there, they discover that the grandmother's servants have prepared a lavish Christmas dinner and she is waiting for her family. She does that every year but her family never visit her and she always has a lonely dinner, all alone. h gifts the grandmother with a painting she has made of the H. At the end of the visit they invite the grandmother to come to their home for a visit too. The H was grandmother's most favorite grandchild but his father took him away and H has always felt the granny abandoned him.

Someone from another forum has been trying to find this book for a while and its right up my alley and Idesperatly want to read it.
this is the description they posted...
I´m looking for a Harlequin book I read like 10 years ago or so. The book starts with H and h separated. They've decided to take a break. h is H's second wife. He had a daughter with his first wife. The wife died giving birth IIRC, and when the daughter was still a baby, he meets and marries h. They have a son together.
The h finally has enough of H and everyone else treating her as second best, and H even says she cannot discipline daughter (whom she has raised) as she's not her real mom. H's mother is a piece of work too.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

found it My Fair Billionaire

Does someone recall?

I am looking for a book for a Facebook friend.
The h is the second wife and the H and h are on a break. The H had a daughter from his first marriage, first wife died in childbirth. The couple now have a son of their own. Heroine is not allowed to discipline the daughter because she's not the child's real mother although she has helped raise her since a baby. Heroine feels second best to everyone. Apparently the H's mother is a bad one as well. Quelle surprise.
Does this sound familiar?
Thanks, Kelly

The more people on it the better! Lol I’ve been waiting to find this book for a really long time!

Have you ever found it? It sounds a lot like A Case of Heart Trouble.

Heroine and father (grandfather) live in the wilderness. The heroine is young, about 17-18. While swimming naked, hero spots her and falls in love. I think he was in the wilderness to meet the father/grandfather. They were friends. Hero informs heroine that her father/grandfather dies. He takes her back the city. Hero becomes OBSESSED with heroine. He starts drinking heavily, drawing pictures of her naked. He’s VERY jealous. They fool around quite a bit, but don’t have sex until he proposes to her. They are fooling around often. They are in the Hero’s studio. Heroine sees the naked pictures. Hero starts crying and is very drunk and depressed. Hero is an Alpha who is about 35. I think the cover of the book is green and the heroine has an exotic look to her. She have Native American roots. This is an American romance novel.

book #1
So what I remember from the description + the plot, the h and H are married. The H is away on trips a lot so the h is left at home with the house keeper/maid a lot that taunts her with comments about the H's (ex?) dead wife. The house is apparently still decorated the way the dead wife decorated it and I think there are some pictures of her hanging around too? (don't quote me on this lmao). H remains oblivious, some miscommunication ensues I think. I think the h gets pregnant in the story [I don't remember if theirs is a marriage of convenience too or got married bc of the baby.] but also it's revealed that (view spoiler) . I think the story might be set in South America somewhere but don't quote me on that either lmfao. I think the hero might be from there though? I think he was brazilian or argentinian
Book #2
The h is interviewing the H for her job since she is a journalist or a writer of some sort. I think they hook up because she ends up pregnant. I can clearly remember the H being asian and he's a millionaire/multibillionaire obviously. The cover was more modern and there was only a male model (rep. the H) on it that might've been holding a cat???
I know this one's a long shot but 😂. Thank you! :)

Heroine has a baby but she leaves her baby behind with her husband because she is sick. 3-4 years later she returned to meet her son.
Husband thought she abandoned them not knowing she was sick. He was furious with her when she came back and wanted to be part of her son's life again.

The Spaniard's Marriage Bargain

The entire book takes place over a day or two - with a lot of backstory.
The h and H were in love. He had to go away for something. During that time his father came to see her and told her that the H was getting married to someone else-he had a wedding invitation with him (fake). The h leaves. I don't remember if the H tried to find her or not.
Fast forward. The h has a little boy and lives with her grandfather - who is a very wealthy tycoon of some sort. The H and his father have a business appointment with the grandfather (want him to help them out, invest in their business). The grandfather knows who they are and has no intention of helping them. The h walks in on the meeting and backs out quickly. Goes to wait for her grandfather.
The H and father are upset that the grandfather won't help them out. When they leave the meeting they see the grandfather getting into a car with the h and a little boy. They go back to their hotel and the father says something like - I didn't know that she was part of that XXXXX familly (grandfather's last name). He thought she was poor and not good enough for his son. The H finds out his father's meddling.
The H goes to the grandfather's house and tells him that he didn't know what his father had done in the past and didn't know about the child. The grandfather believes him. He speaks with the h and they have a HEA.
Any ideas about the title? Any help would be appreciated.
