Wickedly, I think the book you are looking for is The Wedding in White (The Men of Medicine Ridge #2) by Diana Palmer. If not it one of hers.

Is she a singer? If so, that might also be a Diana Palmer book. I want to say it has the word music somewhere in the title, or something to do with music.

Sorry but I remember only that part. I can only add that the heroes went there because the H was worried about his mother and that his mother had paintings in that house. I can't even remember if I read it recently or last year. You could also look at my shelves and see if you recognize any of the books.

I have read so many HQ that I just don't remember the title. The h is a waitress who becomes mistress to a rich Greek (or Italian). They go to the home island of the H where the H dresses the h up as a "tart" to embarrass his family, but doesn't tell the h. The H's step/ half-brother tells her the next day & she's so upset that she miscarries (she doesn't know she's pregnant). Looking for this HP perhaps medical, not sure. H is a top ER doctor, recovering from cancer treatment. H sells organic veges at local market meets h who is either a doctor or nurse. Book set in regional Victoria, so I assume Australian author. Not very old, not before 2010. H&h do CPR on someone at the market who collapses, then have an affair. I recall H does an ultra-sound on h towards the end of the book. I remember everything about the book except their names, the title and the author, can provide more detail if necessary. Since I moved to new Kindle, my search doesn't work very well.

Please help me with this title. This is an older HP, possibly from the early 80s. The heroine gets married to the hero after he's jilted at the altar. I remember one scene towards the end where the woman who jilted the hero shows up outside their house. The hero puts his arm around her and goes off with her in a car. The heroine sees this from a window and thinks that he'll leave her now because he'll be reconciling with the woman he really wants. Later the hero returns home and tells the heroine he just met the woman because she wanted to apologize to him. Cue a confession of love. The only one that keeps coming up in my search is Margaret Pargeter's Substitute Bride but that's not the one.

Thanks! I’m going to check this one out...This does sound VERY familiar; but there’s another I’m also thinking of....

The one sister (now memory is returning) was in a car accident, and now thinks she’ll never be desirable to a man; will never marry. The ‘pretty’ sister now, is again engaged/involved with a Greek. Maybe it is the same story; but I sense it’s actually two different books. I’ll know soon.
