I've been trying to figure this one out for years. I read it back in the early 2000s but I'm pretty sure its an older (1980 or 1990s) one based on the plotline that I remember. I'm almost positive it is a Harlequin line. I think its may be a Presents or Silhouette. It was a paperback.The H hates the h for some reason. I think it has to do with her sleeping with another man (maybe the H's brother or a married man, I'm not too sure). I do know the H hates her but wants to sleep with her. The h won't sleep with him because she knows that the H doesn't like her.
The one scene I remember clearly is towards the end.The hero is buying a house for the heroine because he thinks she is holding out for some kind of commitment (gold-digger probably). She thinks it is for them to live in together after they get married. They are out looking at houses to buy together. The h knows that the H doesn't love her and thinks poorly of her but is marrying her to get her into bed. She's hoping to change his mind once they are married. She mentions something about marriage and he gets mad and tells her he will never marry her because of the something i cant remember. He was getting the house for her to live in as his mistress. But he is so disgusted by her thinking that he would marry her that he leaves. She's upset. And then something happens where he finds out that she isn't a horrible slut or whatever it is that he thinks about her and he comes back for her.
I think it is an older one because the H and h do not sleep together until the HEA in the end.
That's all i remember, i'm afraid. I hope someone can help me find this one because it has been driving me crazy for years. I'm starting to think I imagined it. :(

Hello, I can’t remember the title or the author, and I probably read it 10 years ago: the H offers money to her to break up the engagement to his brother, she takes it because they had already decided no to get married and to teach him a lesson. They meet again years later because her ex fiancé (the brother) invites her to his wedding, they were friends. The H and the h make love at the reception of the wedding but they argue and she leaves in the morning. She gets pregnant and doesn’t tells him but he finds out when he goes to visit her. She is thinking about giving up the baby for adoption and he wants to adopt the baby but she changes her mind and They get married but don’t get along, the nanny interferes a lot. But they finally resolve their differences, they were both in love. Also her mother was the maid of the brothers. Please help, it’s driving me crazy

Hi guys, I'm still looking for this book which was probably a harlequin book, either mills&boon or presents I think. It started off with the H entering an observatory because he was hiding from someone (maybe) and the h was also there, her name was something with an E I think like Emily or something and the H's name started with a C probably, and it was very dark so they couldn't see each other but they talked a bit.It turns out that the H and h knew each other in university but the h was shy and she noticed the H but the H never noticed her. He didn't recognise her initially, but eventually he did a while after they get together. In one scene he accuses her of not being able to commit to anything because she lives in a trailer and he thinks she'll leave him because all her worldly possessions are in the trailer or moving house van or whatever it was.
This is driving me crazy, please help!!

H returns from a business trip and they go out and he tells her that he has met someone new and she ( in lieu of going to washroom) just simply goes away from the hotel back door and out of his life.They meet some years later at the same hotel where she works and has a son.

Great story, I've read it several times.
Hi everyone. I hope someone can help me with this, it's driving me nuts! It's a Harlequin and the h has been head over heels in love with the H since she was a kid. I think they were neighbors and they met because they shared a fence? She was so obsessed she took the minimum amount of education so she could marry him sooner. Basically everything she did was in preparation to be his wife. He was very nice to her but very distant. When it came down to it, he wasn't sure he loved her. She ended leaving on their wedding day or something like that. If anyone knows this book, I would be most grateful. Thank you ahead of time!

Hi everyone I always have success with finding out books on here so I hope I will get help once again. I read this harlequin book in 2004 but I think it may have been a nineties book. The hero and heroine were on a motorcycle on the cover. The h was badly scarred in an apartment collapse or fire and I believe her husband was also killed in that accident. Her back was scarred and she was very self conscious about it. The h and her best friend owned a art class business. The h friend was red haired and also had a troubled childhood which made her distrust men especially rich ones. The h inherited a seaside house from her grand mother and the H moved in the house next door. They become close and fall in love but the H had a secret. His construction company was responsible for building the apartment complex that the heroine was injured in. When she found out she was very upset. For many years the H felt guilty for the accident. The H friend decide to help him recover and made him move back into town. The second love story in the book was between the friends of the H and h. Aside from the H secret there was another mystery as someone was trying to harm the h. I don't remember the details of what happened and who tried to hurt her. That's it i hoped someone can help me.

Hello! I have been looking for days for this certain book but I am having trouble with it. Can anyone please help me find it? :( I cant remember the author or the title but here is what I remember:1 Heroined works in a school and has a really smart boy around 4 - 7 years old I think.
2 The mother of the Hero saw the baby boy and immediately knew that it is his son's child.
3 I am not sure if it was really the Hero's child or his brother/ or it was the Heroine's sister. I cant remember.

And yes a place where you can see the stars indoors idk if I'm using the right word for it like one of those in building displays of space which school trips usually go to. I think the heroine worked there.
The hero was a rich kid, no idea what his job was except he was being either encouraged or was already engaged to someone his parents picked.
Yeah it was set in America.

I’m looking for a series of books, about brothers. I think they’re originally from Australia but in this one book the brother is living in Shanghai, I think. He teaches some form of martial arts. His ex-wife is having problems with an unwanted suitor. The martial arts place gets burned down. I think there’s a orphan named Po. The heroine’s name is like Jianne or something like that. Help!!

Need help finding 2 books. The first 1 I think is a Presents book. The h is a model. I think she had an eating disorder when she was younger. The H and h are married. I don't think that he likes her being a model. The h gets pregnant. Towards the end of the book she is doing a photo shoot and the H has to step in because the male model and the h don't have any chemistry.The 2nd book, I don't think it is a harlequin book but I am not sure where to post this. It is a Regency book. The H marries the wrong twin because they switched places. The H is a duke. The h tells the H she is pregnant after he finds out about the switch.

Hi! I'm looking for an older Harlequin Historical. I bought it second hand 10-15 years ago, so I'm guessing it's even older. The story takes place in regency London and centers around a little older heroine that has a lot of money, from an inheritance, but isn't usually out so much in town. She is taking a younger, poor, cousin under her wings to introduce her for a season. She pretends to be the not so rich woman and that the cousin is the rich heiress. The heroe's best friend falls for the cousin and marries her in the end. She plays the poor matron all season except one night att the opera when she wants to impress him and she went out dripping in dimonds. He was not there to see it though.The hero likes playing cards and has a mother who does a lot of charity work. He likes the heoine but runs away in the end, because he did not want to be seen as a gold digger as she is more wealthy than he is, and he leaves her with a small piece of jewellery of some kind in the shape of a card. What specific card was significant to their relationship.
They reunited later as he now had come into an inheritance and therefore they were of more equal wealth so now he was comfortable.
Now I feel like I've written a whole essay on the subject. Hope you all can help me find this again.

I think it was a ‘blackmailed into marriage by billionaire tycoon’ type of story. H is very antagonistic towards the h but wants to get her pregnant for (reasons.) One morning he comes across her throwing up in the bathroom and coldly asks if she’s pregnant yet. The h is actually thrilled about the pregnancy, but soon gets upset when she sees how coldly the H is acting. She has an emotional breakdown and another member of the household rushes in to comfort her. The H is remorseful for the way he acted and later apologizes to the h, also confessing his love for her.
I can’t remember any other details except that the bathroom scene takes place towards the end of the book.

Could be. I have read quite a few of Susan Napier's titles. I just can't remember the dog everyone is mentioning! Thanks though, it could be it, I'll check it out and let you know. :)
