Unfortunately her health has forced her to retire, so I don't think we will be having more MR adventures in HPlandia. Lucky us, she has a nice size backlist and her books are very re-readable.

Hi! I'm looking for a book where the h is H's assistant and has a crush on him. The H, if I'm not mistaken, is a writer and they go to this house that has a ghost that pretty much cries during the night. Oh! When the H and h sleep together, she catches a cold and he takes care of her. That's all I remember. Thanks in advanced!!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone know the name a book.
The book start at a the h's sister weddings and the H is a sheikh (i think) but he doesn't like the h's family bc if her dad. Their last name is something like Johnson or Jackson. The h heard this and when the H saw her (he didnt know that the h is part of the family he dislike) so he ask her to dance and she said that her name was either Cinderella or Ella. They spend the night together n she got pregnant.

She talks with him and they sleep together
They part ways; I think h didn't know H's real name so she couldn't locate him when she was pregnant
All I remember is that her daughter is named Alexa. h's name may have been Helen but not too sure about this

hello, i hope that someone can help me, I'm looking for a book i don't remember anything aside from the h needs to marry a greek guy to get her money from her grandfather. she needed it to support a family that ther brother accidentally killed the father (her brother also died in that accident, i, think). the greek guy was actually a rich one, but that time he married the h for aome reason and they were really strangers. i hope this ring a bell

No; not this one; I already have it; in the one I am after, h doesn't have any children; her first child is with the painter H. I am sure he was from an aristocratic family; not so sure about the titled bit though ... I do remember the painting he does of the h with their baby in her arms; the baby is grabbing the pearl necklace that H gifted h; I think the portrait is a 1st wedding anniversary gift

Ok, so I have another book I am looking for:old skool HP
h works for a company and is good at designing towels and linens
she is accused of stealing / copying designs
another co-worker frames her
H blackmails and marries her
he makes her stay home and doesn't give her any money
she doesn't even get allowance
Once she asks him to give her a small amount for some necessities
she has an old car that she sells and hides money
something happens and she uses that small amount of money to leave him
he doesn't give her money as he thinks if she has the means she will leave him and go away
she is timid and nice and loves him

Please help to find this one. The H and h are separated. The H wants a divorce and refuses to see or talk with the h. So the h refuses to sign the divorce papers. At last the H visits the h and personally asks her for divorce.

I’m looking for a particular Presents where the h is raising a child not her own. The birth mother is a selfish woman who is sister/cousin or step sister of the h and has left the child with the h to live her life of pleasure. The H is not the father but a rich relative of the child’s father. The H takes the h and child to live in his home. I don’t remember if they get married but the h does not tell him she is not the mother because she is afraid he will take the child. There is a scene at the end of the book where the real mother returns and is jealous of the life the h is living and wants the H to marry her. She tells the H the h took the child without her permission The H gets angry that the h deceived him and throws the h out of the house. Eventually he sees that the real mother is a bad mother and goes to find the h who he is in love with. I think it is an older book 80/90,s. I know there are several books with this theme but can’t find this particular one. It’s similar to The Marriage of Caroline Lindsey. Thanks

It started with the female lead very sick and her son taken by authorities saying that she takes drugs but in truth they were pneumonia medicines and hero was called and he was shocked to find that he had a son so he forces heroine to marry him because he wants his son ...he misunderstands her that she takes drugs but was told by doctor that she doesn't ....hero and heroine had a one night stand in the past and hero misunderstands her to be gold digger

Hello! I'm trying to find a book I loaned my sister but she can't find now. I don't have much to go on I know the cover the guy looks Greek and the heroine is blonde and in a blue short dress. They were together and she broke it off for some reason that didn't make sense when I read it. He I think, finds her and they start a relationship again till he (I can't remember how) finds out she was pregnant and I think he thinks she had an abortion, but she had a stillbirth I think, she held the baby (boy, I think) after. She takes him to its grave and at the end he wants to give their son a little brother or sister and she's afraid but he says he'll be there this time if anything happens (only the nurse and the dr was there when she lost the first baby) epilogue is her giving birth I think. Any help would be appreciated. I don't know the author but it's a book in maybe like the last 3-5 years.

They..."I think it might be Melanie Milburne's The Blackmail Pregnancy, although the cover doesn't sound right. The scene in the cemetery is heart-breaking.

I read this romance in summer camp in July, 1979. The campers in my bunk passed around a bunch of books and this one was affectionately known to us as "Scarface." I can't remember the actual title (or author, or cover, or anything). The plot was about a young woman who, on her wedding night, is in some sort of accident. She is left with an almost invisible scar on her face, but she thinks she's now ugly, and refuses to consummate her marriage. Her husband is (understandably) frustrated and becomes friendly with a sympathetic woman.

This one is a historical
H is an Earl and his only relative is his grandmother
H captains his own ship and is on a last trip to America when he meets h; I believe she is on his ship
He takes her to her family; she is really naive and they end up sleeping together after which he leaves her behind
Naive h finds out from her cousin exactly how babies are made and is upset that H didn't even care that he could have left her pregnant
She also goes back to England shortly and somehow is employed as companion to H;s grandmother
I think grandmother kept h with her as she felt this was the girl the H had once talked about or something
They connect and she tells him how he was uncaring enough to leave and she might have been pregnant
He feels guilty but she tells him she is not pregnant
They eventually marry and are living together when h's comes back
It was because he was said to have died or left that she had to go to America to begin with
H assumes her father is her lover as they meet secretly a few times; she plans to tell H but he kicks her out
He finds out the truth later and runs to look for her
She is living with a maid in a cottage and when he enters the house she is in the kitchen and drops the flour bin she was holding
She was also pregnant; cannot recall if H had known when he kicked her out or he gets to know then
H has been brought up very strictly and is emotionally distant
h is gentle and very naive; she doesn't even know the process of making lov or how babies are made
I think his name was Jared while hers was Clara; but cannot be sure of this
Hello everyone i am actually looking for two books that i read in high school 2005. The first one is about a heroine who is a twin and the most shy of the two. Her sister is most outgoing extrovert who gets most of the attention including from the hero who notices her more. The three are all childhood friends and the heroine has always been in love with the hero. The hero proposes to marry the outgoing twin but on the day of the wedding she runs off with her lover. The heroine who does not want the hero to be embarass decides to marry him in her sister's place with no one being the wiser.
The second book is about a texas millionaire who has always been in love with his secretary. After hurting himself in an accident on the ranch he decides to marry her in a marriage of convenience to save her family ranch. Unbeknownst to him his secretary has always been in love with him too but didn't think she has a chance because of all the women around him. I thought it was a book by penny jordan but i can't find it.

The second one is His Hired Bride by Susan Fox
The first might be The English Aristocrat's Bride by Sandra Field
Thank you very much the second one is indeed his hired bride been searching along time.But the first one is not the English aristocrat bride. Maybe the book was published in the nineties. I remember the hero and heroine honeymooned at a villa while she was still pretending to be her sister.the truth came out when they returned from the honeymoon. Hope that helps

Thank you the first one is wrong but the second one is correct. The first one could have been published in the nineties.
