Virginia (goodreadscomginny) | 264 comments As I have said before I am dense when it comes to many things with the computer. As you see I have already sent my e-mail. Can I erase it? If I can pleasew tell me how. I am always being reminded bt husband and son about being careful about what I do when on the computer. We older people don't catch on to these newer contraptions, at least some of us don't catch on as you younger people do. Ginny (IVirginia)

Ginny-

If you go back to the entry where you added your email address, there is an "edit" and "delete" option on the bottom right hand corner of your entry. You can either delete just your email address by choosing the edit option and deleting just that particular text or you can delete the whole entry by choosing the "delete" option. If you want, I can delete the whole entry for you, but I cannot edit it for you. Let me know.

Virginia (goodreadscomginny) | 264 comments Thanks, I think I erased it as I don't see it in the message. The envelope that you mnentioned is the small envelope to the left of the print icon. Right or wrong? Or is it another symbol?

Yup, seems to be gone. Regarding your question above, private message or "PM" on this site works like your email. You will see a little red envelope on the top right of your screen only when someone has sent you a PM. If you click on the envelope, it will lead you straight to your inbox after you key in your password. If you want to send a PM to someone else, you can do so by going to that person's page or by going into your inbox. You can access your inbox by clicking on the pull down menu (arrow pointing down) right next to your name on the upper right hand corner.

I sent you a PM so you can see what the envelope looks like.

Virginia (goodreadscomginny) | 264 comments Lady Danielle, The day that I joined this group I think I read in one of the discussions the title of a book that had 9 1/2 months later in the title. Can you help me with the complete title? ...or maybe some one else remembers. I can't find the discussion.

Lyraa Levine | 13 comments heya frns,
i hv been trying to remember this book without ne success. its a hp. well the hero is engaged to heroine's sister(step sister/cousin dnt remember). sister does not want to settle down where he has his business because she wants a city life or sumfin.so she goes away before the wedding hoping that the hero will follow her and gives a letter to the heroine to give it to the hero. the hero gets drunk and takes the heroines virginity. den he tells her that he has no choice but to marry her and if she hadnt come on the scene he would have followed the sister. the story carries on with the hero falling for the heroine almost immediately. and getting possesive and jealous. (btw the heroine has loved the hero from the time she met him) i thought it was sara craven but i guess m wrong. book is from the heroines pov

Asia | 5 comments Hi,
I wanted to find a book that I've read the excerpt of a couple years back. It was an excerpt I found in the back of of a Harlequin Presents book but I don't remember the name. Its about this prince, I think Nico was his name, and a recently hired chef name Emma (maybe) on this yacht/boat/ship. This is about all I recall except maybe she doesn't like him at first, and they met in an elevator; maybe? I'm not too sure.
Does anybody know the title? Thanks in advance!

message 326: by 3meg (new)

3meg | 361 comments was it an older HP or a more current one?

message 328: by Verity (new)

Verity | 567 comments Raye Morgan - The rebel prince ?

message 329: by Asia (last edited Oct 05, 2011 06:12PM) (new)

Asia | 5 comments It is a more current one that I found the excerpt in a HP after the year 2000 but not before 2008. I'm pretty sure it isn't the Bridal Bargain or The Rebel Prince because I think the heroine is an orphan or doesn't know about her family. I think that her job as chef is on the ship/yacht.

3meg | 361 comments The Mediterranean Princes' Passion by Sharon Kendrick...this sounds close but I do not have the book, so can't look at actual story.

willaful | 344 comments 3meg wrote: "The Mediterranean Princes' Passion by Sharon Kendrick...this sounds close but I do not have the book, so can't look at actual story."

I looked it up on google books and she doesn't seem to be his chef.

message 332: by Dee (new)

Dee | 26 comments The Meditteranean Prince's Passion - Sharon Kendrick.....I found this short review but looking at it I don't think it is the book you are looking for.

Prince Nicolo of Mardivino rescues a damsel in distress—from heat stroke. Thrilled when she doesn't recognize him, he nurses Ella, then escorts her back to England and sets out to make her his lover. But it backfires when Ella finds out he lied about his identity. Nico pulls out all the stops to get her back—even blackmailing her into coming back to Mardivino—before realizing that he has fallen in love with her. The Mediterranean Prince's Passion (3) by Sharon Kendrick is an adventurous, fun and romantic story that's a nice blend of fairy tale and reality.

3meg | 361 comments I agree, just trying to find some ideas. Oh well...I could not find any where the description had a woman chef.

message 334: by willaful (new)

willaful | 344 comments She is the new chef on his yacht in TBB, but I guess it dosn't fit otherwise.

message 335: by Asia (new)

Asia | 5 comments Which book is the TBB?

I think willaful was referring to The Bridal Bargain (The Kings Of Australia) which she mentioned in message no. 332 above.

message 337: by Mary (new)

Mary | 2 comments If anyone could help me, I will be appreciative. I read this book years ago, and lately not knowing the author's name or title of the book has been bothering me.

Here is what I know about it:
1) the main hero was married to a woman was a paralytic.
2) He was having an affair with a younger woman.
3) He worked for his father-in-law.
4) His wife left him for her nurse.
I think it was published around the late 1990s or early 2000s.

I want to say someone on the cover was wearing grey or written by some named grey. I am not sure, all remember is looking at the cover, and grey popped out for some reason. I know it is the basic information, but I would appreciate if someone could help me! Thank so much!

message 338: by 3meg (new)

3meg | 361 comments anything about the h, I am assuming that is the younger woman?

message 339: by 3meg (last edited Oct 19, 2011 06:03AM) (new)

3meg | 361 comments Caribbean Confusion by Mary Lyons sounds close, however this is another one that I don't have on hand to check some of the other details. He's married when they have an affair and his last name is Grey.

message 340: by Verity (new)

Verity | 567 comments Dunno the book but there's a HQN author by the name of Janice Gray.

message 349: by Samantha K (new)

Samantha K (samanthak-romanceconnoisseur) Hi. I'm new here and thrilled to find this group! I am such a HP addict!

I've been trying to find the title of a book I read in the 90's, prior to 96 I believe. The heroine decides she wants to have a baby and goes to a party and picks up the hero. I believe she was a virgin. Hero never goes to this type of party but went there to stop his...nephew? or was it brother?

He sees heroine and is instantly bowled over and they indulge in a one night fling. He wants more but she disappears. She had given him a false name, I believe. She then falls pregnant, which was her goal. He searches for her for months and finally finds her through his nephew or brother who is dating someone she knows. I think she is a college professor and the person the hero's nephew is dating is a student but am not certain. I also think the hero is Italian. Any help in finding out the name of this book would be greatly appreciated.
