Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

So I am searching for a book I read rly long ago, I don't remember much abt the story, or the character names.
hero is a hard worker, who runs away frm his family , his family is vry loving with lots n lots of children , he sort of helps them too , discreetly.
heroine has a large family too, and they r all loving ppl if overwhelming. h n H kind of pretend to be engaged , not sure if they went n married on contract basis.
There was a baby juggling somewhere here.
I remember the climax scene , h learns something about the H , he was in bathroom n h leaves the house without telling him. then H goes n meets her , professing his love in front of everyone in her family , ( some breakfast table, I guess ).
Also , He made some mouth watering bana waffles.
Now, I know this is very little to go, but do ping me if you can remember the book name.

I remember that the heroine and hero are pretending to be married. I think the pretending has something to do with the H’s ex or some other woman who is going to visit them at some point. Before this happens, the heroine has an accident and hits her head, scrambling her memory a bit. She knows she’s in love with the hero, thinks they are really married, and assumes it’s all as it appears. She doesn’t tell anyone about her memory issues, thinking it will just work itself out.
The OW comes to visit and the h is desperate to keep the H, so just before going downstairs to meet the OW, the h tells the H she’s pregnant, not realizing how impossible that is in their situation. Her memory does come back - I think right in the middle of the OW visit - she’s mortified, but all turns out okay once she and the H talk.
Ring any bells?

there is a Doctor. I want to say Cuban. I think this is Florida. the hero has two elderly female patients who are like Aunts to the Dr. the ladies need or want companionship they are lonely and have a hard time taking care of little things themselves. Their niece who comes to visit suggest hiring a student. Then on one of Dr visits to them his sister is there assisting. the two elderly. ladies. the Hero gets upset about his sister working like a maid he goes off and tells the niece off and sparks fly. the Hero accuses Heroine of hiring his sister because she is Hispanic and they are good maids. he has a prejudice view of the social.classes. it is probably late 70s book

Get some tequila handy.

1. Def a Harlequin Presents. I thought maybe Sandra Marton. The H & h are step siblings. IIRC both have blue eyes and black hair. The H does not like the h’s mom who is also his stepmother. There is a scene when teen h gives the H a sexy look that the h’s mom is know for. H berates h for the sexy look.
2. Possibly step siblings. H & h reunite after a long time apart. Heroine has red hair IIRC. They broke up because H believed lies about h reputation. H finds out h is virgin when they get to loving. H becomes super tender and gives h a bath and soak. Tells her he knows it is an emotional time for h because it was her first loving. Heroine later tries to run away but is surrounded by some kind of dangerous animals. Hero goes to save her.

H and h had a relationship she was in school wanted to finish he left her, went home and was tricked into marrying another woman. She is the mean time was pregnant and lost the baby. Advance some years he is divorced. She is brought back into his life because her younger brother (TIM??) got into trouble with his nephew. The nephew is a brat. She is forced to marry him (for revenge). She is also hated and mistreated by her father, she has an older sister, she is at one point home, H is in the house his nephew the brat shows up and lets loose about her being the family secret and threatens her, she tells him H is in the house and he does not believe her. H slams nephew into wall when he threatens the h. He later drives them to her parents house where she is going to try and make amends with her father but his is mean and H punches him. Sigh......sorry for the ramble just have a hankering to re read it and for the love of HP land cannot find the book title in my list :) Thank you in advance

Yup I did a search on my kindle in A Vengeful Passion for "wall" and I found the nephew scene. It was great. It had the father scene too. I loved this book when I first read it. So I decided to do a full reread. Good job Ted!

Hi! Can't remember if this was Harlequin published but this is a contemporary/mildly erotic romance novel.
The book is about a tycoon kind of man who tracks down his gf/fiancee/wife who disappears occasionally and maybe has left him (I can't remember the details exactly). What he didn't know was that his girl had a half-sister (our heroine) who looked very similar to her, so he mistakes the half-sister to be his partner. I can't remember exactly when he finds out the truth and maybe he takes her with him to take her sister's place for revenge, or she goes along with it, but they end up falling in love. I remember that the heroine's sister would come to hers for abortions and that the hero first saw the heroine and felt an attraction, but mistook the sister for her.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I must have read this sometime between 2009-2011 but can't remember when it was published.
Thanks!

Jiha did you find this book?

It starts out with heroine opening the door and fainting because she sees her presumed dead husband at the door. Her son then calls the grandparents over. Hero was a reporter who was in a plane crash and was presumed dead. Hero and heroine had had a fling when she was a teenager and had to get married since she got pregnant. After the crash the hero had amnesia and started a whole new life.
Since they have a kid together they decide to give the marriage a try (they had problems before he disappeared). Finally they find some of his diaries and all misunderstandings are cleared up.
The heroine lives on a farm somewhere and I think her name was scarlet
Please help me find this book
Thank you

Have you checked through the lists?
Here is one with an amnesia theme.

I think its from the early 00's or late 90's
I seem to remember that the heroine had plans to marry the village doc so there would be a father figure for the kid since hero had been presumed dead for many years. Hero also takes heroine back to the country where he was staying post the crash as he had to finish a business deal. There was a complication with the daughter of the business partner.
Finally in the end the sister in law gives heroine the diaries that hero wrote before he went missing and they live happily ever after.

This one has the heroine called Scarlet and a "back from dead" husband. Unfortunately, I think it's been listed under the wrong author or title. Christine Greig does have a book with that title but the synopsis is totally different.

I absolutely know I've read this because I remember this scene. It was epic! Unfortunately, I don't recall the title. However, I do think think it was written by Lynne Graham.

The synopsis listed there looks spot on to me, but that's definitely not the title. I looked up all the titles by Christine Greig and I think it might be passionate obsession. Not able to find a synopsis to confirm though. Thanks a ton :). I've been looking for it for years!!

The Italian's Wedding Ultimatum by Kim lawrence

That’s it! Thanks so much Boogenhagen. I can never understand how an author thinks that a H can get away escorting an OW around (no matter how innocently) without any explanation to the h!!! UGH!!!!

and on his honeymoon too - it was another case of the h deciding to fight for her man ....

Story:
H and h had a one night stand. I think H never calls h again after the first night.
Plot Points: 1.) h goes to H to let him know that she's pregnant. And needs his financial support until after the pregnancy.
2.) H then begins rearranging h's life, starts with moving her out of her apt to an apt in his building. He lives in the Penthouse.
3.) H has father issues, the H's father is unreliable, etc. Reason why he hadn't pressured h to marry was because he didn't if he'd be a good father.
4.). h LOVES Christmas, in one scene h has fully decorated the apt for Christmas.
5.) h has a dinner with H and H's Father that does not end well, ends in a big fight.
6.) H in a grand gesture buys h all the nursery items without consulting her, h is MAD.
I don't know if this is a Harlequin Presents (more likely) or a Harlequin Desire story. But it is very similar to One Night, One Baby except that the story I'm looking for took place in London/Australia/NY.
It is not a recent 2013 to 2018 Harlequin Presents. It is contemporary so maybe between 2000 to 2010? If you know this book, please take me out of my misery. Thank you!!!

Rosalba - I have tried to find your book but had no luck. Can you remember anything else? I have a vague recollection of a similar storyline, heroine ended up running away to a cottage in the countryside in England - near the end. I doubt the book is set in Australia (it could be, but I can't think of many Aust. books where there is an apartment block with Penthouse - generally authors put the millionaires in mansions).
Given what you've said about decorating for Christmas, if that was near the end of the book, it might be a Christmas release. You could check out the Harlequin December releases starting from year 2000 here:

Perhaps it is Emma Darcy's The Italian's Stolen Bride? The brother confesses on his death-bed that he'd lied.
Or Maya Banks Wanted by her lost love

I LOVE Wanted by her Lost Love. Part 2 in a 4 part series (I can never forget the scene in the restaurant where the brother shows up, invited by the mother). Could also be Jemima's Secret by Lynne Graham, Or The Unforgettable Husband by the fabulous Michelle Reid

I think it might be The Tender Trap by Beverly Barton - but I am still looking for the book to verify

The book opens with a party and the heroine purposely leading the hero on, even though she's a virgin, IIRC. The hero thinks she really likes him and is pissed when she ditches him. It's possible that the heroine has a thing about disliking men generally (but this def isn't Wanting by Penny Jordan).

Uh oh. I think I remember this and it was a humongous train wreck. Boogenhagen will know. Is she out for revenge on all men? Does she taunt the H for a while until he calls her on it?
