Sandy you want A Forgotten Magic by Kathleen O'brien

No that wasn't it. I wasn't clear before but I don't think we were talking about it on this thread. Just a bunch of peeps that are on this thread were talking about it on their reviews of it and such. And I thought someone might remember.
pretty sure it had step siblings in it.

maybe u can check Egyptian Nights by Joanna Mansell

Hero and heroine are married and he brings her to his traditional home where she is to become the new lady of the house. Hero has some kind of title like count. Hero enlists mother and another woman, I think she was his dead brother something, to teach wife the ways of the house. Hero does not know that mother and this woman hate and bully his wife. Hero doesn't believe wife when she mentions it. Something or other happens and wife runs away, fed up with husband and his family. I believe she was pregnant. She ends up at her uncles or step fathers that husband never knew about. The uncle/step father ends up sending a letter to the husband when he finds out he is sick. Husband shows up in the living room and forces wife back.
Help appreciated this has been nagging at me lol

Question Harlequin Superromance from the 1990ies
Dear all,
I'm looking for a Harlequin Superromance title, probably from the 1990ies. Was one of my favourites but must have got lost in the course of several moves.
Here are some details: set in San Francisco
SHE: is from Boston, teaching evening classes, single, has a child (boy?); was apparently raped by an ex-student, therefore keeping men at a distance
HE: works in a brew pub, taking evening classes, has a teenage daughter (was very young when he became a father), rides a motorbike, used to be a bad boy
It doesn't sound familiar. Do you remember what the cover looked like?
Sorry, only very vaguely: in front dark-haired guy in leather biker jacket. In the background young woman in pink(?) sweater/cardigan. Not sure about the bike, possibly. 'Frame' of cover lilac or silver (more likely silver). That's about it, I'm afraid.
Oh, and by the way: he has a teenage daughter, Shannon, who has quite a bit of attitude. I remember vaguely he took her to toen to buy a Maria Carey CD.
I also remember a brew pub called Gordon ....., last name ending in sh/sch.
Odd how one remembers tiny bits of detail but not the title! Thank you, Se.
Title is

Looking for an older book but not sure which Harlequin venue it was in.
Hi: Our Library is getting rid of a lot of books and I want to grab my favorites while I can. I'm not sure if they had this one or if it was borrowed from another library. It took place in the west. They went to high school together, and he walked out on her at the senior prom without telling her why. Years later, they hook up again and he does the same thing at another dance. Come to find out, his sister took a picture of her at a planned parenthood/abortion clinic and he and all his family assumed she got an abortion. Come to find out, her mother had early onset Alzheimer and the daughter went to the clinic for a blood test to find out if she had it. I remember she wore a yellow dress to both dances. Thanks in advance.

practically a stranger. Her boyfriend and sister stay together since her sister is pregnant. At the heroines family barbecue she finds out her mother is not her biological mother. Her mother, sister and sister in law are really bitchy. She meets this guy who jogs every morning and they get together. I'm not sure about this part though, the guy the heroine sees in the mornings is a private detective who helps her to try and find her birth mother who was her fathers secretary. (I think)

I'm sure this is it..

Thanks a ton . I was trying to find these Harlequin since last couple of years . Read them long back and wanted to reread them.

Looking through Charlotte Lamb books might be a good start. I think a few of her books had dolls and teddy bears in them.

I recall discussion about a cover with a doll, but can't recall. CL sounds about right. Or Stephen King. ha

Not sure of a Cade in Brenda Jackson's AA series, either. There is a Quade though. I think I've seen the Westmoreland name used by different author but can't remember where.

There is a "search by hero" link here:

In Vegas, Baby, the hero is called Cole Benton III and he is referred to as "The Third".

From Boogenhagen: Three Little Miracles by Rebecca Winters

Three Little Miracles Rebecca Winters

That's it! Thank you so much!

It wasn't a Brenda Jackson book. And I didn't find it on the hero search. But thank you.

Christina,
I think it's The Frenchman's Kiss by Claudia Jameson.

I am looking for a book I read long time back but now can't remember the name. It was a PNR. The hero was a vampire and the heroine was a witch (I think). They were arch enemies. Somehow the heroine accidentally put a love spell on the hero and he fell head over heals in love with her. The heroine knew it was not true love, he was acting under a spell but eventually she gave in at the hero's sweet antics. Only devil (or lucifer or someone more villainous) could take the spell back but he didn't because he was having fun at their expense(or because of some other cruel agenda). Anywho the moment the heroine said I love you back to the hero, the spell gets broken and the hero starts hating the heroine again. The story goes like that. Few more details, the heroine had a power over earth or wind I think. No vampires could touch a witch...but the hero could somehow touch her..I am not sure...
So any good soul please help me find this book. Tell me its name.Thank you so much in advance

Thanks a lot!!!

The Arranged Marriage Flora Kidd maybe.

The hero and heroine got married because of a will(the heroine's father's). The heroine had gorgeous long hair which the hero liked and she cut it off just to spite him. The setting was somewhere in the mountains full of snow. At the end there was a misunderstanding where the heroine thought the hero made love to her out of a bet and she ran in the cold and got lost. But off course the hero saved her and later revealed he always had a choice to stop their marriage but he didn't because he fell in love with her at first sight. Please help.
many thanks.

Hello,
No its not Valley of the Vapours :(..I just went through its synopsis and reviews...its not it..... The hero of the book I mentioned was not alpha type...he was very sweet and so was the heroine....they get married because of the heroine's father's will, which was read after he died. They met for the first time at the will reading. The heroine lived with her father in the mountains in a log cabin I think. She was sheltered all her life and studied at boarding school....little experience of boys and men.....
I think the hero was a researcher or sorts and he needed the heroine's father's study papers which was only accessible by marriage (but I am not sure). There was also jealous and evil OW.
Now I am thinking hard.....it might not even be a harlequin....because the cover of the book was white and it had a flower or bow in it....
