Help!! The book is a Harlequin. The heroine's name is Lucy. She starts out as a conservatively dressed plain Jane. She is an assistant to the Hero who is in the entertainment business, thinks he is like an agent for the stars. (His mother is a somewhat famous actress.)

The heroine wins a car and names it Orlando, I think. Her best friend, gay man, talks her into keeping it and not just collecting money instead, which would represent how she usually operates. Her friend also talks her into her clothes. Of course, Hero notices and loves the transformation and new attitude toward life.

Can anyone help with the name or Harlequin book #? Think it was an HP, but not sure.

Anyways they get married and she has to move into a mansion that's filled with his family. None of them make her feel welcomed.
The H stepmom tells her that the H has a mistress. Said mistress is pregnant and makes sure that the h knows it.
H and h fight because the H refuses to let go of the OW.
Of course the h runs of to start
a new life . (she didn't realize she was pregnant before she left)

H finally finds her YEARS later. He assumes that h jumped into bed with her cousin right after she left & gave birth to his Son.
He threatens to bankrupt her cousin if she doesnt leaves with the H. She agrees to the blackmail .



Book 2
H & h were engaged but it fell apart after the h was the H kissing a Ex. The H is under the impression that the h cheated on him in a parking lot with his best friend. It was a complete lie the best friend and a "wannabe OW" wanted them to break up. The h never even tried to tell the truth. She packs up and leaves to go back to England to be with her sick mother.

Years go by and the h mother keeps getting sicker, she can't pay for everything so she goes to her grandfather to ask for help. He refuses to lift a finger unless she does what he want ( marry the H). She goes to him and they make a deal.
They get married and She'll provide him with children. H gets to keep living his Playboy life.
He invited the OW to the wedding. The h and her exchange some angry words & the OW runs off to H. He of course believed her and says some stupid things to the h.

H finds out on their wedding night that she was a virgin and comes to the conclusion that the h & the best friend got interrupted before things got too far.

He flies off and doenst come back for a week or so. They are civil towards each other until the h find's a envelope in her room that has a magazin in it. There were pictures of H with another OW during the time abandoned the h (after taking her innocence)
She kicks him out.
He calls her sometime later to ask her to come to his families mension for dinner.

His parents, brother, wannabe OW & her grandfather are all there. The H tells everyone about the magazine pictures & how he found out who did it (of course the OW)
OW finally comes clean about everything....

Can anyone remember an HP presents with a h is a doctor on stress leave. She ends up going to work in a mansion, I think she may have been a housekeeper, where there are a group of people who are working on a computer software project. She falls in love with the H , but he thinks she is lazy and wasting her life because she is smart but working in a job beneath her. No one knew knows what she really is until the OW falls down a flight of stairs and requires emergency surgery to stop a bleeding leg. Since she they are in the middle of nowhere, h steps in and saves the day. She goes back to her life. OW grovels by waiting hours for h to get out of surgery while drinking bad coffee just to thank her. HEA.

Hoping someone can held me find this book I read years ago. The heroine is a professor (I think) and regarded as a bit of a cold fish by her colleagues. But when she borrows a house for a week from a friend and is discovered by a tall, dark, sexy stranger in the shower, we discover the frigid professor is hot blooded after all. She was an accountant, maybe for the IRS or some investigative company. She is doing some work on a company, I think maybe he owns it? Or maybe he is a cop investigating too?

The product is sex toys. There are some scenes in a warehouse where they are trying to match up invoice names with products.

She is uptight, and quite secretive, I think maybe there was some abuse in her past or just some horrible people? Not sure about that part.

I can't remember much but the hero and heroine are family friends. He is engaged to someone else but the heroine kisses him on impulse at a party one night and they get caught. The engagement is broken and his business takes a really hard hit. Some years later they encounter each other again and he wants revenge, as usual. Bit of a blur until the end when she has a panic attack when she walks upon the place they kissed all those years ago. He starts to realize she didn't mean to purposefully break his engagement and she actually loved him back then. It was her sister or cousin that orchestrated everything. After some contract ripping and stuff, he proposes and all is well with the world :p

I am trying to find an older book. I don't even remember the h or the H's names. I do remember that it involved the younger heroine deciding to get revenge on the H whom she blamed for the death of her mother. Her mother had been an actress. The heroine seduces the hero and gets her revenge. The hero is involved in theater/movie/tv show production of some kind. The book is contemporary and is set in the UK. I keep coming back to the conclusion that it had to be a Harlequin.

I'm trying to find the title of two Harlequin Presents or maybe Harlequin Romance books from the '90 s or possibly '80s. One is about a ballerina who is somehow forced into a marriage with a blind man. The H isn't interested in the OW but she persists. In the scene that I remember, the OW wears the perfume that H identifies with his wife and tricks him into kissing her. He'd been asleep. Of course, the h sees them before the H pulls away and misses the H rejecting the OW. I think the h may have the first name of a character in a ballet or had performed in a ballet of that name.

In book two, the h is a singer. The H is after her even though she shows no interest in him. He's always analyzing her, telling her what he thinks the reason for her seeming lack of interest is. One thing he notices is that she sings to herself when she's upset. He points this out to her while they are horseback riding.

Little to go on I know but all that I can remember.

I think number 2 is Matching Pair by Jayne Bauling. I found the horseback riding scene in it.

At almost the ending, the heroineS discovered something so she decided to leave the hero. She packed her bags and the son saw her. She lied and said she is going to donate but really she is running away. The son ask if he can come and she said no.
