Could have sworn it was a Carol Marinelli book, but doesn't look like it.
Maybe Lynne Graham she has a lot of 'marriage of convenience' books. so does Sara Craven

Hi folks! I am desperate to find this book but I can't remember what year or the name of the book. I read it about 10 years ago and it is most likely a harlequin book. Its about a woman who is an archaeologist or some sort of field scientist whose sister dies giving birth to twins(?). She returns home to help her brother in law help raise the kids and they fall in love. There is a scene where her brother in law catches her crying while watching the Lion King. I think the main character's name may have been Lynne. Help please! Thank you

Sorry Miraenn and Mou - can't think of anything else.Mou - Have a look through Helen Bianchin books. That sounds like her style - if it's an Australian author. Miranda Lee also sets a lot of books around NSW north coast.

I'm still looking Mou, agree with Taylijane that some of Melanie Milburne's sound close. Do you have any idea which decade? Maybe try this list?

im looking for a book that is a series, and the first i remember reading in 2010/11. There was a brother and sister as the main characters, and i think they went to a magical place or dreamt stuff. and then there was a protaganist who was a evil wizard possibly and he tries to kill the brother and sister and at one point he captures one of them i pretty sure. I also think that the brothers name was DAVID i hope i right for that part. and i think that they were technically protecting something and given a quest by a good wizard the author was also female and had her own signing somewhere and bookmarks and there was 3,4,or 5 books. i just remember my old gradeschool teacher read these stories to us. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! and the sister was the younger one if that helps

Looking through Annie West books now. It's frustrating because it seems familiar. 90's 00's or recent? Taylijane - that one has already been ruled out.

Sorry about that. Will keep thinking but think that may have been my best bet,
Have a look at Emma Darcy and Lindsay Armstrong - both Aussie Harlequin authors.

I'm ready to give up on this one. Unless Mou has some more info - decade read/written, more storyline. It really sounds familiar, I can vaguely recall reading a 90's? similar story, where I think they lived in Vaucluse and went to Avoca or similar for honeymoon. Can remember lots of socializing, parties etc when they returned from honeymoon.
Taylijane - I'd forgotten about Emma Darcy - pseudonym of husband and wife writing duo. Several of Melanie Milburne's are also similar storyline eg. The Greeks Bridal Bargain & Venadicci Marriage Vengeance but the high class comment and the bathroom scenes aren't there - argh!!
List of many Aussie M&B authors below. Miranda Lee and Margaret Way & Helen Bianchin missing - probably more. I've looked through Annie West, Kelly Hunter, Melanie Milburne, Carol Marinelli and Lindsay Armstrong.

Mou - it changes a lot. At the moment, I love Jane Porter (One Christmas Night in Venice especially) & Kelly Hunter books (esp. West Family series). Also Carol Marinelli but she needs to move on from the Russian billionaires who all seem to come from the same orphanage. Heidi Rice also great - Brothers and Sisters series. Also Abby Green - esp. The Spaniard's Marriage Bargain.

Hi Mou
I know this story...but just can't remember the book title...it's def written by an Australian author.....i am going to check out my book list and get back to u
:))
I'm looking for an early eighties book. Either Harlequin Romance or Presents. ( I only read them at the time) A true needle in a haystack query.Book takes place in England and heroine's father owns a business in trouble and the hero saves the company and marries the heroine to either seal the deal or because her father passed away.
The book stays with me because the heroine is less than impressed by the hero's sexual technique. In the course of the book intimacy occurs twice and she shudders at the thought of more. This was especially odd for the era where sexual compatibility was a given.
I was telling a friend about this book and now we both want to know the author or title.
Anyone? Thanks to all who reply!
(Sorry if I did this wrong - my first post)

I have no idea on this one. Apart from a couple of books where the heroine had vaginismus, I don't recall a hero "failing to satisfy". I've read a lot of 80's probably not so many 90's.

Hi,looking for a mills and boon/harlequin. H/h are married and have a son. the story starts after 5 yrs or something of marriage. More like a marriage of convenience, (actually H loves h). after the marriage and forced intimacy during honeymoon both H and h maintains a distance. H is some construction billionaire and stay on site and hence both can maintain separate lives. story starts when hero purposefully makes the plan such that he and h are in paris at the same time.
i remember there is a subordinate of H.. who lost his wife recently and h flirts with him and H gets really angry.

Hi everyone, I need help find an old Harlequin book which I read in Arabic, it's about a girl, whose uncle/ or some relative of her died and a friend of her uncle comes to inform her he will be her guardian, and I think he was a fashion designer or owned a house, he was in a relationship with a mean model..I remember that he told the heroine he will kiss her on her birthday, and he bought her a dress..
And that she had a date once, and he gave a her a necklace to wear with the dress and that he was really jealous when he saw her coming back from her date..
Can anyone help me find th name of this book please?!

I'm looking for a m&b late 80's or maybe early 90's. Hero was in military and was prisoner for 3 (I think) years, thought dead. He is found and returned to the UK. His wife is there to meet him, I think she faints on the tarmac. I recall he had to spend some time in hospital, perhaps was beaten by his captors? I have a vague recollection of a link to an Arab sheikh/prince - someone the hero had saved before being captured. Similar beginning to Damiano's Return by Lynne Graham but it's not that book.thanks

I am searching for a book I read several years ago. The hero or heroine are forced to marry. I believe the hero is in love with someone else when they marry. He is disdainful of her and has a nickname for her, something like mouse, wren, or sparrow. It could be a harlequin presents (believe it is). It was published before 1999,I believe anywhere between 1978 and 2000. The heroine may have gotten pregnant or had a baby in the book. Thanks.

Si, Sorry for the late reply. Been away. Thanks for your help!
I remember the heroine thinking "what's all the fuss about" and not because of any sexual disorder. Of course when they declared their love for each other they didn't mention their sexual incompatibility. LOL

It almost sounds like Man of Stone, although I don't recall the hero being in love with another woman.

Hey,I only remember the opening scene of this book, h goes to H house to inform him that his fiancee (i think she is h's step-sis) will not marry him. H is suppose to be very ruthless and very rich ( i have a feeling he is italian). So h goes to his house which is a mansion, she goes to his study I remember there being a window which looks out to a water-body (no idea if its a lake or sea or river). Well as goes in any book H forces h to marry him...Ring any bells?

Maleka - not sure if either of these two are the ones you are looking for.. but off the top of my head quickly - these might be worth a try and see if they are...
Marriage on the Rebound
or it might be
The De Santis Marriage
not sure if either of these two are what you are looking for - but could be :-)
Hope you find it.
