Thanks a lot(Sanya and LLCSpokane).I am gonna reread it...Thanks again guys

I really hope someone can help me figure out the title of this book. I *think* it was a Harlequin Romance, but I don't remember which collection/imprint. I'm pretty sure it was published in the mid-1980's. The main character was a ballet dancer, and she falls for a mysterious, dashing man named Jared. I seem to recall the cover having a good bit of lavender or purple, and there was a dark-haired man and a woman whose hair is in a bun and she's obviously dressed as a ballerina.
And that is all I remember. I know this could be asking for a needle in a haystack, but I really hope someone will know this. I joined the Harlequin site, but every time I go to the forum to post a request for help with finding the title, it tells me to log in. I do, and then go back to the forum page, and it doesn't show me as logged in and I start all over. I'm in a terminal loop of suck over there.
Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this and possibly can help.

It's Firebird by Margaret Ripy."
I added the book to GR and added it to my wishlist =)

Does this ring any bell, Ihope so ,because I want to reread this book again, thanks in advance for any possible help.

2. I think this was an HP. Blind heroine meets the hero and falls in love. Stuff happens, they break up, and she gets an operation that restores her sight. She meets the hero again, unaware he is the same man because he's going by a different name. When she finds out, she feels betrayed and manipulated. I think the hero's name was Marcus/Alan.

I am looking for this HP.. Well its a secret child reunion romance book.I remember very little.. The heroine has a son.. he must be around ten or something.. I remember him being very smart and he is very concerned about the heroine.. the child worries that she will die even if she sneezes bcz he lost his grandfather..The hero has a flashy car..
Not many clues to guess a book from...
Its by a popular author... i thought it would be patricia wilson or robyn donald but cant be sure

I dont remember.. may be.. it seems possible now that I think of it.. but what i remember with clarity is that the son used to get very scared that his mum (the heroine) would die so he used to panic even if she had cold..

The book starts when the boy is 7 years old and Melanie has decided that Rafiq has to know about his son since she has no other family and the boy, Robbie, has begun to worry that she will die and leave him alone, now that the grandfather is dead.

Jyothi - I am sorry - I have looked in my list of books and cannot seem to locate your book - I hope that you find it.

Lingering Melody
Bnic - could it be this one? I am going to have to go back and reread it again. - i remember it being a good book - and I remember H calling her a mouse -

I think it's this one
Bought For Her Baby

Thank you!!

Thank you!

You're welcome. It's always a thrill to be the one to find a book someone is searching for. :>)

I'm desperately trying to remember the name of an old (1980's) Mills & Boon or Harlequin book.
The Heroine is Angela Twentyman and she ends up as a cook on a sheep farm. The Hero is Mark I think, and he calls her Twenty.
The title has the word 'Rainbow' in it.

Always a Rainbow by Gloria Bevan

It depends. Not everything has been digitized.
Open Library is a good and legit source for old, scanned ebooks. Only epub or on your phone, though.

I think this is your book
Another Time, Another Love Anne Beaumont.
this one was easy to find as I had it on calibre so typed in Laurel and this book was the first hit. Took about 20 seconds, :>)

Now I want to read this! Where can I find an e-copy?

It's available at Open Library
