I can't remember the title of a book I had read in high school. It was about a girl who discovers she has the elemental power of water. She along with three boys have to stand against three others who wan the girl to complete their group. It was a fairly old book but I'd love the chance to read it again

I am still looking for the title or author of this book.... the story line goes by, a young girl went for a modelling photoshoot, the photographer assumed the girl was a spoil brat and gave her a hard time.... fast forward, in the future, the model was selected to be the covergirl for a cosmetic company whereby, the director of the company is the photographer.... they ended up having an affair during a photoshoot.

I am so glad that I have found this group! Thank you! I am looking for a book that I cannot remember the title or any names in the book. The best I can do is give a description.

It is about a woman who is a realtor and she has an appointment with a "potential buyer" to a home that she has a bad history with. (Bad history meaning - when she was younger, she was in the home and the owner of the home at that time had hidden pictures of her and other things in a tower. This owner also attempted to have relations with her - against her will) The potential buyer is wealthy and is attempting to seduce the realtor as well.

Fast forward - we find out in the book that the potential buyer is looking to buy this house only because his mother has sent him to do this as a revenge deal. Supposedly the younger brother used to admire the woman realtor and had an infatuation with her. The woman had no clue that the brother had this infatuation with her. she assumed it was a sweet friendship.

In the end, the potential buyer explains that his mother was the culprit and he was just trying to appease his mother. Help - I know this is vague - but Can anyone name this?

Hi all, I am looking for a book that I have read long time back, I dont remember the complete story but it goes something like this. h was a mistress for H, but she goes away due to some reason ( i think he sent her away, not sure) and she was pregnant. She will have a child but comes to know that she might have some disease (may be breast cancer, not sure either) , she needs to get herself checked, but the kid will be all alone, so she goes to H and tells him that he has a son with her. I forgot the whole story, but she tells H that the only reason she came to him was to make sure her baby is not alone if anything happens to her.

i'm looking for a book, i'm sure its a harlequin. i cannot remember what date it was published or it's setting. The only thing i remember is that it's a four book series, and they are four brothers, i think. The heros names are Trevore, Cage and two more. The four of them are living seperate lives but they were called to come to their fathers house (texas i think?). Some of them are married but having troubles, some are still single but their life will change at the party thrown by their father because of having engaged to a young girl i think? I'm really not sure, hope somebody can help me.

@Jacqueline, thanks, but this is not the one I am looking for. In the story that I mentioned the baby is still small and the h goes to hospital with H and the baby for check up.

Hi, this one is not that old and it is the sister-in-law who has the accident, but could it be the one: The Diakos Baby Scandal?

Heroine had overheard hero saying he was going to take the sister-in-law's child. Heroine didn't know the sister-in-law was an alcoholic and told her about it. Sister-in-law took her child and got into an accident. Although no one got hurt and they had been together for a year, hero kicks heroine out.

@Maleka, in the book I mentioned there is a baby already and they were estranged for a year or more I think. I dont think it is the book you mentioned but thank you.

Hello all! Am looking for a novel which i read in high school ( late 90s). Been on my mind for quite sometime though i cant remember much about the story plot. What i do remember is that H and h had an affair. I remember a love scene under a bridge. There might have been a fair in the background. For some reason they part. 6/7 years later they meet again and H finds out that h had become pregnant after their night under the bridge and miscarried the baby. H tells h that she had 6/7 years to mourn their baby while for him the grief was new as he had only just found out bout the miscarriage. Any tips/ suggestions would be much appreciated.

Looking for a book. May be a Harlequin. Hero is a prince or sheik. He has to send away the pregnant woman he loves to save her from his crazed Father. Then hero is forced to marry a woman his Father chooses.
A couple of years later his true love returns with their child and is heartbroken to find out he has married other woman.
I think the father even had the hero locked up in jail at some point.
I believe this was one of several books about royalty.

Pat, the book is Escape From the Harem. The h and H were married. He married the second woman but it was platonic.

Hello everyone- I was wondering if anyone can remember the name of this book. I have vague description only -I am sorry-

It is about a man who comes home from a trip and finds his (not sure if she was mistress, girlfriend or wife) in the bed with another man sleeping. Evidently the prior evening, the "betrayed" mans younger sister had a party.
The betrayed man ends up throwing the mistress-girlfriend or wife out. Not sure if she was pregnant or not. But later in book they reunite (don't remember circumstances). the end result is the man that was in bed that night was actually the betrayed mans younger sisters boyfriend who was so drunk he found the wrong room and bed to sleep in and passed out next to the mistress-girlfriend or wife... any help would be appreciated. This I found in other Forum hope it helps:

A woman, the main char. (who is focused on her career.) lives in this
bulidng. She is looking forward to this promotion that will send her to
the big city. She had made a promise to her parents that she would become successful and getting this promotion shows that she has done this.

This man ( i think his name was Eric(K?), (Derick?) moves into the
building and they start a relationship. He was opening a Karate like
center. He was referred to as "Sensei"?

The woman gets the promotion and goes to the big city only to miss her old life and the guy.

I remember that these boys try to rob her and she injures them with the
training the man taught her. She goes back to the man and moves in with
him when her aparment had been rented 'cause she moved to the big city.

Here are some more thoughts I had about it:

I just remembered (90% sure) that the man in the book was half japanese.

I'm only half sure but the book may have been set in Ohio or Chicago.

Also I'm half sure that Harlequin (Silhouette?) published it, but could be
wrong.

I think I've read this book, but can't think of the title or author.
Was it the second of a series ? IIRC the first book is about a millionaire and an ordinary girl, with a 'secret pregnancy' plot.

The millionaire has a friend, who is half-japanese and a martial arts instructor and this man is the hero of the second book.
In the first book, which I remember better, the hero finds out about his girlfriend's pregnancy because his friend 'sensei' sees her coming out of the doctor's office. The girl gets mad at the 'friend' for telling her exboyfriend about it.
If this is the right series, I hope these added details might be a clue.
I'll keep searching and let you know if I recall the author

Was the heroine a ballet/jazz dancer by any chance? I just read a book where the hero ( a karate master) watches her perform and it moves him profoundly. If it is this book, I read it recently.

Yes - I really enjoyed this book and I felt the h maintained a strong role. I like a strong Heroine and she was..... it's a plot used a lot but in the end the H comes grovelling as he should.
