So heroine has a twin sister who somehow was in a relationship with a hero. I think he has his own hotel/island and the evil twin scammed/cheated on the hero. I think she dies and the heroine goes and pretends to be her sister for revenge(?)
The hero doesn't know that the women are twins and I think there was one time the heroine almost gave up her secret because she kept a picture of she and her sister together. I think one girl was holding a cat while the other couldn't because of an allergy. The hero sees this picture, I remember.
It's not a Sarah Morgan book for sure. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure it's not Duncan's Bride since she flies west from New York to meet him specifically and there is no friend along with her. No café or friend until later in the book when they marry.
Sorry I don't know what it is though.

Well Duncan's Bride is so worth the read though if you like mail order bride books. It's a favorite reread of mine. Obviously since I know it so well. ;-) So go ahead and give it a go anyway.

As I remember from the Novel:
I read it in 2003 so it was published before that year, the cover of the novel was half red and half white .
The first scene in the novel is (the heroine) a women in her 20, she has boyish short hair, she was in a restaurant cleaning at the time for closing _ the restaurant is own by her family and they are going to lose it because they have no money _ . while she is cleaning, the door of the restaurant opens and (the hero) enters _ he is rich and they know each other from the past they were in love but something happened and they separated _ she was suprised to see him and they talk a little but then he kisses her with passion and desire and his mouth in her neck and his hands in her short hair.
Another is a scene is of her with him in a some terrace _ which has a table and chairs around it and umbrella _ and she was offering to be his mistress if he help her family , and he accept and they go to his bedroom and she remove her earring and about to take her dress but then he stops her.

I'm looking for a book about a married couple that dies in an accident and leave their daughters to be tended by his brother and her sister. The hero, forces the heroine to marry him or he´ll ..."

Hi All,
I read a book long time back, most probably Helen Bianchin where h is in a relationship with a guy and about to be engaged. But her family thinks that guy is not right. H is h's brother's friend/business partner. He asks h's to get his finance sign a prenuptial before engagement. That guy sign with note 'under duress'. h ends the engagement and later H woos her into marrying him.
If anyone remembers the book name, please help.
A.

Nicole,
This is prolly :

Also in 2-in-1 :

Mel,
If this is the book, U were right, U did read it & rated it 4*.

1. h is English I think, lives in small village. She gets a new neighbour. He turns out to be some famous (American?) moviestar. She can't trust that he really wants her. At the end of the book she goes to London (?), there is an awardshow. She almost splits, but he catches her in the street. She gets all dressed up and goes to the awardceremony with him.
(I also have the feeling she wins him at a fair or something, but that could be from another book)
2. h is younger than H, I think her name is something like Erin/Elin. H is very serious, responsible for all his siblings, (maybe h is a friend of one of his siblings). H doesn't want to have a relationship with h, cause she is to young and she has to experience life and not have his responsibilities,(?) but h gets under his skin. H is rich rancher or something?

need your help;the book is about a girl who's
engaged to the H and is pregnant but his/her
family disapproves and so convince her to lie to
the H that she miscarried. The H leaves and she
goes on to have a daughter.years later she goes on some work convention thing and discovers the
H there giving some speech, she then tries to
pretend to not know the H but it turns out he set
the whole thing up and already knew about his
daughter.I think it was published in the 80s-90s
