Hi, I heard about this book from a friend who can't remember the title nor the author and hope someone can help since it sounds good. The story is about an older guy, could be working already or in college (medical school?) and younger girl (college girl?). They fall in love and she gets pregnant. While he was away, she started bleeding and she was rushed to the hospital. Her aunt (who disapproved of the relationship) told her she had a miscarriage. Both the H and h for some reason separate. Years later, the h has her own business (I think!) and they bump into each other, h later looks for him and tells him that she suspects that her aunt lied about the miscarriage and that the baby is alive. It's an old Harlequin/MB book, probably from the 80s.

Hello girls .. so im looking for this mills and boon relatively new... this is how it goesThe heros sister dies along with the heroines brother and the H holds the h responsible and therefore wants to punish her..... so he has sex with her and she is a virgin which he doesnt really buy and the next day when she wakes up he is sitting on a chair and really abuses her and stuff and holds her responsible.... The book opens with the H staring at his sisters body in the hospital and vows revenge...
so well after the one night stand the h falls pregnant and she corners the H at a party and tells him where the news people eporters also hears and stuff... The H holds her responsible for this saying u deliberately did this and still doesnt believe that the baby is his.. So he takes her to his pvt. house on some island where the h meets H dad who is on a wheel chair and the two click.. But she has a misscarriage one night ..
Heroines bro is the bad guy who was abusive to her and was into drugs and was basically responsible for the car crash..yeah so does it ring any bell ?????
The end scene the H is in the library and drinking when the h comes back to him..not wearing the mourning black clothes(which used to irritate him) but a colourful dress.. :) Please help

i really need help guys, i read this book while i was 16 or so, i'm 20 now and i really want to reread it cos i loved it then. i know its a harlequin presents, the male character is Nick, he's posing as an artist to the female character meanwhile he's also a big time executive in a merchant bank, the female character is also a banker engaged to a lawyer, she's nicks childhood friend and she came back to claim a property of her grandfather, but while she arrives, nick also claims her grandfather gave it to his grandfather during a card game, while they were battling over the property, they fell in love again since they kinda loved each other in their teenage years. plllsss hellp, this novel is sooo passionate, and i'd love to read it again and again.

Lorelei - I just finished The Slender Thread by Yvonne Whittal which is very vintage HP.
Lorelei - I just finished The Slender Thread by Yvonne Whittal which is very vintage HP. Also, Betty Neel does a ton of MOC's (it's her trademark). My favorite of hers is The Final Touch. So if you like a gentle romance, Betty is a good one to read.
Bride For A Year (The Big Event!) was good too! A lot of angst.

The h deserved someone better. He treated her badly, groveled in the last two pages of the back and they had HEA -- not believable.
it was actually a very good book. i really love the start. it's unfortunate dat he did not redeem himself. else it wud have been a 5 star 4me. he's actually the biggest ass i ever read about lol!

Yes, that's right. And that's the reason it's one of my favorites. He's such an ass it actually hurts.

Hello all! I am looking for an old novel. It's basically a second chance at love plot. H and h slept together. For some reason H leaves. She becomes pregnant but loses the baby. H doesn't know and only learns about it when he returns after maybe 7 years. They obviously get together. I must have read it about 10 years ago. I realise the outline is pretty vague but i would love recommendations on stories with second chances. Thanks.

     Hi.
Hi.I'm looking for a book about a married couple that dies in an accident and leave their daughters to be tended by his brother and her sister. The hero, forces the heroine to marry him or he´ll take the girls away from her.
I don't remember much about this title, just that the guy was insanely rich and she was not.
What I do remember is that almost at the end of the book one of the girls is standing over a frozen lake and the heroine rescues the girl but she falls into the ice cold water and the hero rescues her and takes care of her by a fireplace.
I read this book a long long time ago, but I´ve never been able to forget about it and would love to read it again.
If any of you guys can help I would be forever gratefull.
I need help on finding another book. It was harlequin presents the outback series. This book in particular was about an art gallery owner (heroian) and an artist (hero). She agrees to grown her hair out for him to do a painting of her. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I only read Harlequin Presents on a normal basis. I am looking for a book that it is the guy who can't remember the past. He is at an event of some sort and the girl is there. He actually passes out when he sees her and they call a doctor. They take him to a back room to see the doctor. This can't be more than 3 or 4 years old and maybe newer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I don't believe so because I really think (actually I think it has to be) a Harlequin Presents. Plus I know he is taken to a back room where a doctor is called But thanks - checked out the above book and it isn't this one.
