Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

Any idea what the title is?

The heroine gave birth to a boy and a girl - cant remember how the hero found out. The heroine though didnt beat around the bush she told him quite plainly they were his. She had help from her mother raising them.
The children though i remember - the little girl was more precocious than her brother (she was the leader of the twin). In the novel one of them broke their hand and while being tended to was teased by their sibling.
There was also a scene where the little girl screamed and shouted at her dad she hated in him in public on the way to the park - and the mother told him to ignore her instead of giving her more attention.
He expressed how he now knew what it felt like to be a parent to screaming children.
the little boy immediately took to his dad but the little girl insisted on calling him by his name......

Suganya,

Sira,
I believe this is :
Lynne Graham ~ The secrets she carried.
LG is famous for having several books w/ twins. The twin girl breaks her arm when she falls @ playground, heroine's mum calls heroine, that's when hero meets w/ the fruits of his loins the 1st time. Cranky gal uses daddy as her punching bag during her hissy fit on the way to the park.
"So this is what it feels like to be a parent." Cristo commented, flexing his jaw with a slight grimace, his stunning eyes pure black diamond brilliance as if on some weird level he was actually enjoying the challenge.

Someone posted this inquiry on my review for The Man She Loves to Hate.
Hi.. The thing is I read a book ages ago and I forgot the books name. But I remember the story a few lines. H and h hate each other. The story starts with the entry of H and h to listen to the will. They hate each other and the will specifies that if they don't marry and stay married for 6 months or so the property will go to their cousin. Both know that the, cousin is the last person they want to lose their property. And while reading the will their cousin is also sitting along with them and wishing that they wont marry since they hate each other. But h AND H decide to marry. After their marriage he cant resist his passion and takes her to his apartment(which h thinks is the apartment where he takes his mistress) but they share a passionate time time and then takes her to their home and leaves her without contacting for sometime. Then finally she falls pregnant and climax hea. I guess the hero's name start with R or L. Maximum like Rafe or Roul etc. Pl help me find this book. I'm dying to read it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot Verity :)

I would love to read this book as well.

I'm looking for a book I already own, but I can't remember the name. The hero buys or inherits (I think buys) a company, who has some really good commercials, in which the heroine works. He thinks the heroine is basically good for nothing. It turns out the heroine is the marketing wonder. I believe he finds out when he sees her sketchbook or something.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Josette

The plot: Heroine's fiance convinces her to go work for the Hero and seduce him for business secrets. The twist in the story is that the Hero + heroine actually knew each other before and they slept together. It ended badly because the Hero was seeing the heroine's sister at the time. This happened in New York.
In the present, the Hero, recognizing the heroine, whisks her away to Italy(?) where he seduces her and convinces her not to leave him.
Here are some additional details I remember:
- H teases h by saying the girl he loved wore apple blossom perfume
- h wore her fiance's ring on a necklace
- h remembers seeing H's "ducktail" hair
- H catches h at an airport when she tries to leave him.

Mistress Against Her Will"
Can I give you a million hugs?! It's been driving me crazy!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!"
Did you like it? The H cheated on the h's sister by sleeping with the h in the past? Why would she ever trust a guy with such poor morals. Also, if she knew that the H was seeing her sister why would she get involved with him? Doesn't say much about her morals either.

The H had already broken up with the sister by the time they slept together. And I think if you think too deeply about romance novels, you'll see that they're ridiculous in real-life but it's part of what makes it a fun, trashy read.

Also, I remember the hero does confront the ex about leaving the robe. She admits to leaving it behind intentionally.
Thanks for any and all help!

I'm pretty sure it's this book. I Googled tons of stuff and this is what came up. Seems the most promising --

A snippet (thanks to Google Books preview):
"...Valente focused on her standing there, as straight and defiant as an early Christian martyr while wrapped in his former mistress's robe. As a picture it as all wrong. Housekeeping, he acknowledged, had fallen down in not removing the garment..."

Yes! I've been looking for-well, I'm not going to admit it. How in the world did you find it? I tried every possible combination on Google?
Thank you!!

I think I even LOOKED at this book at one point! Jeez. Ok.

Yay. Glad that's it!
I tried a few different key words, but this is the one that turned up the link to the Google Books preview that I quoted:
harlequin presents ex-mistress "robe"
The first link--
One-Click Buy: May 2010 Harlequin Presents - Page 117 - Google Book...
It's tricky trying to find good keywords, so I often try different things to see what turns up.

I found this...

Found this summary:
Melisande was shocked when she realized she was actually trying to find reasons for having fallen in love with Andre. How could she feel this way toward the man who had helped put her father in prison? Motivated solely by revenge, she had forced Andre Lubeck into marrying her. She had never thought what she would do once he had married her. “I’m a fool to love him,” she thought, yet knowing that even if she were wiser it wouldn’t change her feelings.
When still a child, her father dies in prison. He is later found to be innocent. The Baron, the one who sent his father to prison, pays to send her to school to make up for the mistake. His son continues to pay for her schooling. She refuses further money when she graduates from University. He comes to find out why, he talks about how much he values his freedom. So she forces him to marry purely for revenge.
Could this be the book you're looking for?

Oh and the title is something with ring and around 4-5 words...another scene is he disapproves of her wearing a certain dress so has sex with her pretty roughly ;) and later feels guilty so they are in the party and he rubs his thumb on her wrist by way of apologizing. .. PLEASEEE HELP ME FIND IT IM GOING CRAZYYY...

^^^^ please help"
Gul, I tried a bunch of google searches on this yesterday hoping I'd find something. But no such luck. I also had a request back awhile ago that know one knew. That happens sometimes, dang it. :-)

Cud it b

"The moment they reached it, she went to move away from him, but he stopped her, the arm remaining firm as he twisted his body until he was standing in front of her. Then he reached out to pick up her wrist—the wrist he had used to pull her back towards him. His fingers were gentle as they ran over the tiny marks already promising to become bruises in the near future."

Margaret Way ~ Ring of fire = Set in down under, H/h are not hitched but there's a scene @ party where hero criticizes heroine's dress & he turns her to face the mirror.
Helen Bianchin ~ The wedding ultimatum = Heroine has blue blood but is broke & hero is a rags-to-riches loaded man who wants her to be the vessel for his newly minted juice to pop out the fruit of his loins.
Lindsay Armstrong ~ When only diamonds will do = Chick on cover flashes the bling & plot is similar.

This could be :
Anne McAllister ~ Out of bounds.

She'd accepted the lifeline Jason Cole offered
Actually, Samantha had little choice when her own summer plans fell through. Jason's sister needed a music teachercum-chaperone and Sam needed a job.
But, in spite of its travel opportunities, Samantha wasn't enthusiastic about the position--it meant constant contact with the obnoxious womanizing Jason.
"I like my women willing, Ms. Peabody. And there are plenty who are," he'd told her. And he certainly wasn't her type at all. So why worry? Unless perhaps he wasn't quite the shallow playboy she imagined.

Noooo... :( Its not this one but thank you :)
