Yes, I read it in 2014/2015, but I think it's older. I remember skipping several pages when the protagonist marries another man and starts raising horses. The son has his first encounter with his real father in a bar, he's already a teenager.
SOLVED: Book is THE SICILIAN'S BANISHED BRIDE by Maya Blake.I am looking for the title of a Harlequin Presents book. It's a few years old. I think pre-COVID. Hero's grandmother sees image of grandson on an advertising billboard and collapses. She demands to see her grandson. The hero thinks he is being sent on a wild goosechase - he doesn't have a son who is the spitting image of him that he is aware of. His investigation brings him to the doorstep of the heroine who he had fired (she might have been his fiancee as well as being his employee - I think she was an architect or structural engineer?), thinking she had betrayed him professionally, but she was set up by his brother? Heroine tried to contact hero to tell hero when she found out she was pregnant. But the family fraudulently got a restraining order against her and she wasn't allowed anywhere near the hero. The hero didn't know anything about the restraining order.

I could only find Shattered Trust. Started looking again today for the others. 3 was A Magnificent Affair by Fayrene Preston, which I found by accident in a thrift store.

Girl from a small town in US goes to England to become an actress and lives in her crappy appartment with Andy[ i think] and another girl. She had a lover at home but started seeing this other guy at the same time. She marries said guy, discovers he is a drug addict and divorces him, later guy becomes a part of a famous boyband and comes to one of her performances..She gets pregnant by him and he gets into an accident[ because he was driving drunk] and disappears.Andy dies in a car accident.
I also remember she miscarried a pregnancy before and was told that she was infertile
Years later, she is a single mom [ her son's name is Alex i think] and not an actress and Andy[?] comes back to haunt her. At the end of her book, she falls in love with a cello guy[?] and screenwrites a play based on her life.

Does anyone know this book...The FMC marries the MMC thinking they're in love. The MMC then reveals that he infact married her to take revenge on behalf of her father. They go to his country after marriage. He threatens her with all sorts of horrible things. So she decides to leave him, and goes to the airport but changes her mind before boarding the flight. The flight crashes and the MMC who had decided to follow her, is distraught thinking she was on it, but bumps into her on the sidewalk nearby instead. cue HEA...
This may be an old Harlequin romance or m&b. Heroine's name is Kendall. She sells fruits & veggies by the roadside. Hero's name is Jake. Heroine's father dies & hero marries her. I think it's set in Australia or New Zealand. Please help finding the title of this book.

These are facts I remember
1. The couple is estranged but not divorced, I think.
2. The wife has a secret baby. The husband is not aware but her siblings are.
3. The wife went to stay with her siblings which is how she reconnected with her husband
4. The baby and husband have the same colour of eyes. I think...blue
5. The wife is a bit on the plus side, just a bit
6. The story is set during the holidays-- I remember dumplings and cold from the winter
7. The husband has a habit of cooking for two even though he lives alone
8. Even after reconnecting with his wife, the husband wasn't quick to realise the child was his.
9. The Husband really likes his wife's legs? Or hair? Not particularly sure.

Hello, does anyone know this book? The hero and heroine are married. The hero is quite close to the wife of his mentor/partner. There's a scene towards the end of the book where the heroine walks in on the hero and the mentor/partner's wife in his office at night. They are sitting close together and celebrating with champagne. It really seemed like the hero was involved with this other woman but gaslit the heroine into believing it was her jealousy. That's all I can remember. Perhaps he bought a vineyard at the end. Likely set in Australia.

No, not Temporary Wife. This one was from 2000s or 2010s.

I got it. I'm mixing up another book with this one The Marriage Secret. This one has the scene I mention. Although now I wonder what the other book is, where the hero seemed to be involved with his mentor's wife.
Hi there!New here to this group and hoping you can help me find a title. I think it is either a Presents or Silhouette.
Name of the MCs are Kyle Marchetti or Manchetti and Eva Attrius or Atrius. This is part of a series set in Australia & New Zealand.
Kyle works in his family's Bank with his older brother Damian, is a widower who lost his wife & baby son. Eva is his uncle Max's adopted daughter who was a former lingerie model and current wedding planner.
Plot is how Kyle & Eva met at age 17 and 19 but was separated for over 10 years I think because uncle/daddy Max found out Eva had a family history of a deadly disease and wanted to save them the heartache so he separated them until he dies and names Kyle her executor to her inheritance.
Kyle is a widower who lost his wife & baby son several years prior and still mourning them. They go into a fake marriage of convenience in order for her to receive her inheritance.
Only other thing I can remember is that Kyle's brothers, Nick & Damian, (Australia) as well as his twin sisters who design wedding dresses & are BFF's with FMC, as well as the Atrius cousins who are in the gem industry in New Zealand - Sebastian & Zane. They all have their individual stories.
Anyone familiar with this book?

He was in a casual relationship and told himself it wasn't anything serious. He kept dreaming about his last mission. After radio contact between two vehicles was lost, an explosion occurred. His teammate, to whom he was secretly married, was killed in the explosion. In the end, it turned out that she had faked her death and wanted to kill him because he was too close to the truth.

HP from the 80s - set in San Francisco, h is a free spirit (curly red hair - Titian probably lol) don't remember anything about the H but he's probably more straight-laced. Whirlwind romance and they sleep together but are parted for some reason and agree to meet at Ghirardelli Square in next month or two. Turns out she's pregnant with debilitating morning sickness and can't meet him. He shows up and she's not there. They find their way back to each other and HEA but I don't remember the details. She lives in an eclectic apartment with quirky neighbors. There is a description of her in the doorway holding her baby and they're wearing matching Chinese style pajamas with frog closures. Feels like a long shot : )

Hellooo, please help me find this book.It's a vintage romance novel about a heroine who is an actress, hero is a singer. She is in a new movie but does not have enough chemistry with her co-star. Hi all,Asking for a friend, does anyone know this book? The MCs siblings die in a car crash together, the FMC was also in the crash but unharmed. Her hal-brother apparently seduced the MMC's sister and used her to embezzle money from her company. The MMC seduces the FMC as some weird revenge scheme, but she gets pregnant, so he has to marry her. They then travel to his home country and she makes friends with the sister's dog. There's also a plot point of her always wearing black or dark colours around him.

Some details I remember. It is snowing and they are in a ski lift. There s a cabin that the hero’s father and the heroine’s mother were using for their meetings. The hero’s father dies and the heroine’s mother wants to remove all evidence of her presence in the cabin. That’s why the heroine is going to the cabin. There’s heavy snowfall and the hero and heroine get caught in an avalanche. The hero is attracted to the heroine. After this my memory is a little vague. They probably start an affair. The hero wants to marry her but the heroine balks because of the hero’s mother.

She had to move because the situation was very awkward and uncomfortable for her. Heroine’s stepsister marries her boyfriend. A few months after the heroine moves south, the step sister and the ex boyfriend come for a visit. The ex boyfriend wants to resume their relationship. The heroine leaves her home and goes to the hero’s house. He proposes a marriage of convenience. There’s some icky stuff. But they do have their HEA. There’s also a letter writing Great-Aunt.

Help need to look for a book where h and H fell in love but h stepmother told H that she was engaged and he left her then later h father and stepmother dies and leaves her younger brother in her care. H buys her house and forced her to marry him. Drama ensues.
[SOLVED] Bella and the Merciless SheikhHi, y'all. Hope you can help me with this one. It's set in a desert kingdom and the most memorable scene is the heroine disguising herself as a jockey and winning the race even though it's forbidden for women to compete. The horse she rides is infamously difficult and temperamental. I'm not sure if she was married to the Hero Sheikh/King before or after this event.
Does anyone know this book, I only remember a small part and it's making me crazy.The FMC has some past trauma. She grew up in a small town/village. The son of a local wealthy family shows interest in her which she reciprocates. When he tries to get intimate with her, she says she would like to wait till marriage. To which he asks her why she thought he would marry someone like her? It turns out that, until that point the FMC thought her parents had a close loving marriage, when the truth is that her father is married to someone else and her mother is his mistress, and the FMC is therefore illegitimate. The parents are actually very much in love with each other but the village looks down upon them. So the FMCs BF who thinks of her as a case of like mother - like daughter, and does not think she's good enough to be his wife but wants her to be his side piece and thinks she would have no objection to this. She dumps him and moves on, but it colours her relationship with the MMC when she eventually meets him because he too is from a wealthy background.
That's all I remember.
