Just posting again about a harlequin book where the heroine meets the hero after a minor car accident. She is a very shy or reserved person and the hero takes his time to know her. At the end he organized the wedding for them which she was not aware of. She was okay with this and they got married.

Please if anyone can help - I have been searching and searching but I cant seem to find this one hp book i read years ago. I’m pretty sure it’s a mills and boon modern book.

Essentially the waitress/aspiring actress h starts the interview but then changes her mind and walks out of interview to be the H’s pretend girlfriend. I feel like the H was a sheikh/ it was set in a desert kingdom for a good portion of the book but i may be mashing books together and the H was just a rich tycoon type idk.

Hi everyone,
i'm searching for a Book i read some years ago.
it's a second chance book. Hero and Heroine were married and lived with/close to his family. But the marriage was falling apart.
Hero flew off on a business trip. I'm not sure if the plane crashed, but in any case he was considered missing and everyone assumed he was dead.
The Heroine leaves his estate and returns to her home country. Years later she learns that the Hero has been found/rescued. He comes to her and they give their marriage a second chance. This is where the book starts. Of course there is the evil family and an OW involved.
Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Hi everyone,
I am losing my mind here trying to find this book or remember more details.
I think H and h had to get married for some reason and I think the h name is sarah and she has a younger brother named adam she is taking care of him and there is an evil step/half sister that lied to H about how bad the h is and he believed her and mistreated the h.
There was a scene when h was pregnant and didn't tell H and found him with her little brother, telling him they will always love him and there will be no other kids.

Hello all, looking for an HP set in Australia (I think) where h ad H are newly married with some problem between them. They are driving and have accident, think in Queensland mountains and car rolls down a ravine. The h has a broken leg and H helps her. HEA. I thought it was Lyndsay Armstrong but none of her books seem to fit.

this is an older HP, but I’m trying to remember the name. he owns a ski resort, and he runs into his lost love in an elevator, except she is purposely bundled up so he cannot see her face. He can only see her neck. H thinks it’s a teenage boy, but he feels a strange traction. Maybe Cupcakes and Killer Heels? it starts with H driving in to back of h's car. I'm not overly confident that this is the one, as she is not shy. Any more info about the type of car? Vague memory of another book which might match.

Hello! I'm trying to remember the names of a trio of Harlequin Presents books that I read with my mom, probably in the late 1980s. They took place on a Greek island (of course!) The books were about three brothers. In the first one the oldest brother, whose name was Lion, married his fiancee's... sister (?) after his fiancee elopes with someone else The girls' names were Fenella and Penella or something like that. He doesn't discover it's the sister until the wedding night, and tells her that they have to stay married until she gives him a son. (insert sigh here... ahh, the 80s...) In subsequent books the other 2 brothers meet their HEAs. One of the brother's name is Dmitri (sp?). I can't remember the third brother's name, but he's the "nice" one.

Hi all! I'm looking for an older Harlequin Presents. The h was seeing the younger brother of the H while she was in uni (studying art?). She wasn't really into him and he turned crazy stalker when she broke up. He held her art portfolio hostage. Without going in to too much detail, the younger brother ended up shot (it was an accident) when he threatened the h. The H tracks the h down to an island where she just wants to get away from it all and turns all stalkerish. His mother isn't doing well and he wants the h to 'come clean' and visit his mother to give her some peace. H and his mother are horrified at their own actions once they learn the truth about how the H's younger brother died. The climactic scene takes place at an art showing of the h's. I know I have it on my kindle and it's driving me crazy. Any help is appreciated!

She settles in a house in CA and finds a great nanny - everything is perfect except H has found her and the house is his and the nanny works for him. h is out taking a walk and H pulls up in car with baby and h has to go with him or let him leave with the baby. They get married on his plane and go live on his island or estate yada yada. She starts getting calls threatening the H and baby because her father(?) has enemies. She decides the only way to keep them safe is to leave them and let H raise the baby. She sneaks away and goes to the airport to disappear again. H has figured it out and follows her to the airport. HAE.

Looking for a Harlequin, probably from the 80s.

H and h grew up together and it has always been expected they would marry. H goes to the city to work and is living a bachelor lifestyle but h doesn’t know that.

They do get married and on the honeymoon (?) I think the h puts all the pieces together.

I am unsure but I think she took off somewhere and did not go back to her parents or to the H/h’s new place.

I used to get email notifications. I will get into the habit of checking the notification bell. Thank you!

I think that there was a woman he worked with that the h met and OW said something or had distinctive hair that came into play on H's clothing.

I think there was a scene where she packed her suitcase and H was sort of freaking out.

I think H had to explain to the parents and that h was only supported by one parent.

There might have been a scene on their honeymoon where H was going to do some work and there was a separate "suitcase" with his computer.

The h was living in their "town" while H was living in the city working. I think he was a regular worker and not super high up in the company.

I could very well have mixed a couple of books into this description.

Hi! I'm looking for a book where the protagonists get married because she's pregnant. The MIL is awful to her and the SIL gets jealous of all the attention h gets from H. And keeps interfering on their relationship.

h thinks H always prefers his sister and when his sister calls for him to go to her for an "emergency" h tells him not to go and as he is leaving, she stars feeling pain and miscarriages the baby.

The MIL doesn't tell H right away about it. h thinks he doesn't care, he eventually gets to her and apologizes but she wants a divorce

I’m looking for a book that, I think, came out maybe 80s, 90s or possibly early 2000s, certainly before DNA testing.

The things I remember:
- H and h were together when young but have been separated for 18+ years.
- They have a daughter who is now getting married herself.
- He believed he was a carrier of some disease which is why he left.

The things I think I remember but may have made up:
- The H father was absent.
- I think the h got pregnant and they had to marry.
- The H met his father again when he was, possibly, dying from the disease and after the daughter was born.
- I read a lot of Anne Mather, Sara Craven, Penny Jordan, Carole Mortimer back in the day so it may be one of theirs.
- I think it was set in U.K.
- I don’t think the h had any relationships in the interim but may be mistaken.
- I think the daughter was somehow cleared of being a carrier but it may have been left up in the air.

Back in the day, and looking at such plots from the beginning of my life, long separations didn’t bother me, nor did big age gaps. (I remember reading lots of 20 year older Hs and thinking it was romantic!)

Now that I am older (retired), and looking back at things, I can’t help but feel like it’s such a waste of a time. I also can’t help thinking of those 60 yr old h, with their 80+ year old Hs….if they even made it that far!

Anyway when I think of long separations, this is the book that comes to mind and I would like to reread it to see if it changes my mind!

That is the book.

It came out in 1993 and as a 19 yr old, I know I found 20 yrs of hankering for each other soooo romantic.

Now at 60+ it seems less romantic and more sad, just really sad. If they get to my age now, they will still only have had half the time together they ‘should’ have had….hmmm, guess who still gets carried away by books 🙋‍♀️

The MMC then fires the neglectful Dog sitter who was supposed to be watching them at the time and hires the FMC instead. She works for him for a few months then wants to resign, but he doesn't want to let her go and keeps trying to add more perks to induce her to stay. She refuses because as he slowly learns that she is infact a brilliant scientist who was on a break, and is resigning because she will soon take up a highly sought after job. When he asks her why she never told him, she says it was in the resume she gave him and he replies that he doesn't read resumes. It becomes a running joke all the way till the end because in the epilogue he hears her proper given name for the first time during their wedding vows (Her name throughout the book is something that can be a name by itself or a nickname) and is surprised, and she asks him if he has still not read her resume.
