Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

Yes that's the one. Thank you"
No problem. As I said I am looking forward to someone finding the first one. I love an amnesia story, and to throw in revenge as well!
If you fancy more amnesia, I love LG The Innocent's Forgotten Wedding, JL Bought: The Greek's Baby and CC A Baby to Bind His Bride

I went back and checked it out. Apparently they're the same book. So thanks a second time 😅

Essentially the waitress/aspiring actress h starts the interview but then changes her mind and walks out of interview to be the H’s pretend girlfriend. I feel like the H was a sheikh/ it was set in a desert kingdom for a good portion of the book but i may be mashing books together and the H was just a rich tycoon type idk.
Thanks sm in advance!

A friend of mine is looking for a book she read in the past (some decades ago), but she can't remember the title:

Did you ever find this book?

i'm searching for a Book i read some years ago.
it's a second chance book. Hero and Heroine were married and lived with/close to his family. But the marriage was falling apart.
Hero flew off on a business trip. I'm not sure if the plane crashed, but in any case he was considered missing and everyone assumed he was dead.
The Heroine leaves his estate and returns to her home country. Years later she learns that the Hero has been found/rescued. He comes to her and they give their marriage a second chance. This is where the book starts. Of course there is the evil family and an OW involved.
Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Hi Maya,
Could it be Damiano's Return?
It’s one of my favourite rereads.
There is OW, OM and horrible family.

I am losing my mind here trying to find this book or remember more details.
I think H and h had to get married for some reason and I think the h name is sarah and she has a younger brother named adam she is taking care of him and there is an evil step/half sister that lied to H about how bad the h is and he believed her and mistreated the h.
There was a scene when h was pregnant and didn't tell H and found him with her little brother, telling him they will always love him and there will be no other kids.
I can't remember anything else.
Help!!!

You are the best. Thank you.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Maybe Cupcakes and Killer Heels? it starts with H driving in to back of h's car. I'm not overly confident that this is the one, as she is not shy. Any more info about the type of car? Vague memory of another book which might match.

Is it possible that the book you’re looking for is: The child of Judas
The second book would be: Love is the Honey

It's the story of an estranged couple, I think daughter is now being framed for murder or something. Heroine calls back hero to help their daughter. There is a cop who falls for their daughter. Can you recall any such story ?
Thanks

Could this be prisoner of passions by Lynn Graham

Hi all! I'm looking for an older Harlequin Presents. The h was seeing the younger brother of the H while she was in uni (studying art?). She wasn't really into him and he turned crazy stalker when she broke up. He held her art portfolio hostage. Without going in to too much detail, the younger brother ended up shot (it was an accident) when he threatened the h. The H tracks the h down to an island where she just wants to get away from it all and turns all stalkerish. His mother isn't doing well and he wants the h to 'come clean' and visit his mother to give her some peace. H and his mother are horrified at their own actions once they learn the truth about how the H's younger brother died. The climactic scene takes place at an art showing of the h's. I know I have it on my kindle and it's driving me crazy. Any help is appreciated!

It could be a Cathy Williams book. Maybe have a look at her releases. I do remember reading a book with similar premise. Good luck

Easy one. One of my top 10 faves. A Dark Sicilian Secret

I remember reading a Mary Lyons book with similar story line

Would it be Love’s Tangled Web

H and h grew up together and it has always been expected they would marry. H goes to the city to work and is living a bachelor lifestyle but h doesn’t know that.
They do get married and on the honeymoon (?) I think the h puts all the pieces together.
I am unsure but I think she took off somewhere and did not go back to her parents or to the H/h’s new place.
Now, here's my problem. Goodreads is not user friendly for me and I have stopped getting any notifications even though I didn't change any settings.
If someone knows this, what is the best way for me to see their reply?

Ann, the notifications "bell" at the top of the home page usually comes up with a number if a thread you are following has been updated.
About your request, is there any other information you can remember e.g. the H's profession, what alerts her to his previous lifestyle, is OWs?

I used to get email notifications. I will get into the habit of checking the notification bell. Thank you!
I think that there was a woman he worked with that the h met and OW said something or had distinctive hair that came into play on H's clothing.
I think there was a scene where she packed her suitcase and H was sort of freaking out.
I think H had to explain to the parents and that h was only supported by one parent.
There might have been a scene on their honeymoon where H was going to do some work and there was a separate "suitcase" with his computer.
The h was living in their "town" while H was living in the city working. I think he was a regular worker and not super high up in the company.
I could very well have mixed a couple of books into this description.

This is an old HP i think. Heroine is a teacher. H n h are married for some time i think. Hero is infertile and cant have children. They are on the verge of divorce when one of heroine's students become their foster child. Hero initially doesnt like the child. She breaks his grandfather's violin or something. Then she goes missing. Hero goes and finds her. Hea.
Please can anyone remember the title

h thinks H always prefers his sister and when his sister calls for him to go to her for an "emergency" h tells him not to go and as he is leaving, she stars feeling pain and miscarriages the baby.
The MIL doesn't tell H right away about it. h thinks he doesn't care, he eventually gets to her and apologizes but she wants a divorce
Thanks 😊

The things I remember:
- H and h were together when young but have been separated for 18+ years.
- They have a daughter who is now getting married herself.
- He believed he was a carrier of some disease which is why he left.
The things I think I remember but may have made up:
- The H father was absent.
- I think the h got pregnant and they had to marry.
- The H met his father again when he was, possibly, dying from the disease and after the daughter was born.
- I read a lot of Anne Mather, Sara Craven, Penny Jordan, Carole Mortimer back in the day so it may be one of theirs.
- I think it was set in U.K.
- I don’t think the h had any relationships in the interim but may be mistaken.
- I think the daughter was somehow cleared of being a carrier but it may have been left up in the air.
Back in the day, and looking at such plots from the beginning of my life, long separations didn’t bother me, nor did big age gaps. (I remember reading lots of 20 year older Hs and thinking it was romantic!)
Now that I am older (retired), and looking back at things, I can’t help but feel like it’s such a waste of a time. I also can’t help thinking of those 60 yr old h, with their 80+ year old Hs….if they even made it that far!
Anyway when I think of long separations, this is the book that comes to mind and I would like to reread it to see if it changes my mind!
Any help much appreciated!

I think its Lynne Graham's second time bride.

Would it be A Cure for Love?

Would it be A Cure for Love?
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3..."
Thank you both!
That is the book.
It came out in 1993 and as a 19 yr old, I know I found 20 yrs of hankering for each other soooo romantic.
Now at 60+ it seems less romantic and more sad, just really sad. If they get to my age now, they will still only have had half the time together they ‘should’ have had….hmmm, guess who still gets carried away by books 🙋♀️
Thank you again. I will reread and wallow when next I need to!

Two young people live on neighboring farms, but their families are bitter enemies. He comes from a very wealthy family, while hers is bankrupt. Mysterious cattle thefts begin occurring near the young man's property.
Despite their families’ rivalry, the two start a secret romance. But everything changes when they discover that the girl’s father is behind the thefts, and she had been helping him. When the truth comes to light, her father dies, and she decides (or not) to move to another state.
Far from home, she finds out she’s pregnant, but doesn’t tell the protagonist about the baby. As time goes on, she rebuilds her life, marries another man, and raises the child as if he were his own. Years later, her husband dies, and the boy discovers, through a note in a Bible, that the man who raised him isn’t his real father, and learns the identity of his biological dad.
The boy then runs away in search of his real father. Worried, the mother follows and ends up reuniting with her old love. Because of their son, the two decide to marry out of convenience. They face some conflicts along the way, but eventually reconcile.
Thanks!!

I love an amnesia story so looking forward to the first one too!
