Thanks for replying but the h husband was alive but was ill when the hero heroine meet the second time and also the ONS was on the skiing lodge I think

Looking for a HP that I read but can't remember title/author. I can't remember a lot of details but I believe H & h marry because h is pregnant. The part I do remember clearly is the h had previously went to prison for theft from and elderly woman she was taking care of. Of course, the h was innocent & I believe the niece of the woman had actually stolen the items. The press finds out about her prison record & the H wants the h to sign a statement to be released to the press that's an apology & saying how she's changed. The h refuses to sign the statement because she's innocent & won't say she's guilty. I think she ended up serving her entire sentence instead of being released early because she wouldn't admit guilt for something she didn't do. That's when the H starts investigating & figures out is was the niece and h is innocent.

Does anyone know this book:

The MMC has a brother that is estranged from his family over his choice to marry the FMCs sister. The siblings die and the FMC meets her BILs family. That's when she finds out that the estrangement is over the fact that the BIL also stole from the family before eloping with the sister. The FMC strongly denies this saying that the only thing the BIL gave her sister was an heirloom ring that was rightfully his and that they lived within their means and never had this extra money that he supposedly stole.
It comes out later, that the BIL did infact only take the ring from the family safe, and MMCs aunt who lives with them took the rest and framed the BIL.

It starts with a girl in her twenties who falls in love with a married man. The have an affair that last a few years but when the wife discovers it the man (ex rugby player) stops the affair to stay with his wife. The girl is pregnant but tells him she’ll get an abortion (soiled alert: she never did and put the child to care).

About 10years later they meet again, while both of them are married and have children. She became an actress, but she clearly has some issues (stress, pressure, anorexia,..). They have an affair once again and this time he ends up leaving his wife and they try to leave together. Turns out, they’re not made for an actual relationship, the man loves his exwife and misses her and after a lot of drama (the guy’s daughter has a scooter accident,…) they separate and never see each other ever again.

The woman gets treatment and support from her ex husband and tries to get on with her life. It ends when she goes into a caffe, about to meet for the first time the son that she had when she was in her twenties.

He gets the child and h back with him; the book starts when he has just got h and child back with him
She is hurt and does not engage with him much; only interested that H looks out for the child who is his Heir
Later on she discloses that he betrayed her when he refused to see her; he only thought of his grief and not that she might have needed his help as she was pregnant and that because he didn't hear her out or meet her, she and her child had such a difficult life
He also finds proof of their marriage as this was presumed to be lost

Hi.

I'm looking for a book. I don't remember the name or the author of the book. From what I can remember, it was published in the 2000s or 2010s. It starts off as H and h meeting in New York as the hs grandfather is settled there. Her parents live in the UK. The H and h date and get married in the matter of days. They consumate the marriage and the next day the H goes all stoic and calls for the hs grandfather and shows him the marriage certificate that he married her. In comes the Hs background and how hs grandfather stole the Hs grandfathers shipping business. He tells the grandfather, in exchange of the shipping business, he'll divorce the h. So that happens. The h shuts down.

The story then opens what 3-4 years later and then he tries getting her back and whatnot

Hello - Please help - I read this book many years ago (late 80s - early 90s). The story is about a Ranch with precious stones. The heroine is a writer staying at her friend’s ranch and she falls in love with her friend’s older brother. They discovered later that some of the beautiful stones found on the property are gems. Heart of Stone by Diana Palmer has some similarities. In advance, thank you for your help.

Hi, everyone. Been a while since I've popped in. Hoping to find this HP. Heroine is a helicopter pilot and has been having a relationship with a crown prince (whose royal status he kept secret from her). I think his father passes away so he's finally taking up the mantle and he decides they need to go their separate ways. A few months pass, and she lands a job flying a helicopter to his country. I think she has a health scare and it turns out she's pregnant? Anyways, towards the end of the book, she jumps onto a helicopter piloted by her former co-pilot but they fly into stormy conditions but they end up crash landing on a rocky outcrop where ships have been known to sink. I think there's a local legend it's home to a monster. The prince then leads a rescue mission to find her. I might be misremembering some details, but I'm fairly sure most of the stuff I've mentioned is accurate.

Hello, I m slowly losing hope to ever find this book but giving it another shot
The details are hazy but there is one scene I remember, and I think it was about the secondary couple (who may be the leads in a different book from the same series). They are at an extended family outing (in some kind of picnic or treasure hunt). there is a lot of stolen looks and angsty tension then the woman is suddenly ill. It seems shes pregnant and everyone, especially the family elders, are shocked. Her date at the outing, who is a friend, steps up to save the day and tells everyone he is the father. The actual father (the secondary male lead) wont have it, he says something like "the hell you are".
I dont remember much else, but this is 100% a Harlequin, most likely from the 80s or 90s. Thanks a lot.

Hello, I hope someone can help. I'm trying to remember the title of a sci-fi short story with a powerful environmental theme that I read in the 1970s, so it might have been written in the 60s or even earlier. The plot involved humans landing on another planet, it's largely desolate and, importantly, flat, but has some strange sturdy trees and peaceful human-like creatures. The human visitors cut down some of the trees (can't remember why), this greatly distresses the humanoids, for reasons that only later become clear. It transpires that sporadically there's a great flood and the only way to survive in this flat landscape is by climbing up into the trees. The short story would have been published in an anthology. so she starts to strip at a club, and who shows up to work security? so she decides to try and seduce him as the stripper.
her act involves rose petals, and just before she leaves the stage, she plucks off the rose petals pasties, covering her nipples.

This doesn't sound like any Harlequin Presents that I've read. Nor does it sound like a Harlequin Presents "type" plot.

Are you sure this was a Harlequin Presents book? If not, you might want to post your question in one of the other groups as well.

Undone by His touch is one of my fave books by Annie West. That is the right book. There is another where one brother dies and the other is blind - very different story though. At the Greek Boss's Bidding if anyone is interested

I can’t remember if the ex is dead or not but she is isn’t around.
The bit about the father not thinking he is her father comes right at the end, when the H tries to fix everything.
When they split the first time his mother is involved, think she tries to pay the h to leave him.
