@Beverly So, if you only read the first three pages of the book, it might seem different because the book starts very differently from the main body.
But every detail you mentioned is there except the heroine's name. Some additional details: the garden centre she runs is called the garden of Eden, and towards the end the hero hires a guy in a snake costume to bring her apples. But who knows, maybe there really are two books with that many similar plot points.
There's also another book, Elusive as the Unicorn by Carole Mortimer where the Heroine's name is Eve Eden and the Hero's name is Adam Gardener. But none of the other details match.
I’ve edited this but please help me find this book.I don’t know the author or any character names and it might be silhouette admittedly I just know it’s one of them. as I read it so long ago but I remember the plot very well. There is this girl who gets told by her doctors assistant(?) over the phone that she has a terminal illness. She decides to go travel instead of wasting her life(?) and on the plane ride to her vacation she meets a man. A lot happens in between they go out a lot while she’s on the vacation and she feels guilty for falling for him and not telling him she’s going to die. He takes her on a carriage ride and pretty quickly they get married after some convincing on her part and(key detail) she agrees to marry him if they take out the “till death do us part” bit. After that they go on honeymoon and she starts to feel a little sick. They go home and eventually she feels guilty and I think maybe tells him. He says she has to go to a doctor they make a plan(not sure on this detail)and she ends up leaving her ring and leaving him because she is scared of dying with him there. She goes home and wallows for a few weeks realizes she’s late and finds out that she’s pregnant. Then she gets a call from her doctor later on telling her he mixed up the test results and she is fine. She goes to work at a library and eventually her husband finds her. They start fighting and either her or him rush out of the house and try to drive off but then she gets hit by the car(idk whos) and I think she loses the baby. They reconcile the end. Sorry i know that’s a lot of information but I’ve tried everything I even tried to get chatgpt to find the book for me and it couldn’t. Oh also a key detail the cover was a scene from the book when they had the kid(the one time they didn’t take precautions) . It was a picture of them kissing against a tree in the dark.

If that's the kind of story you like; she thinks she is dying and blows all her money on vacation, after running out of the doctors surgery assuming she had same terminal illness which killed her mother. Marco's Pride also similar storyline, I think they mixed her results up. In amazon I think you can search for similar books so perhaps use either of those to follow the theme.

also i recall somewhere i think an old boyfriend or uncles is blackmailing her but instead of hiding she comes clean to the H.
i also recall that i think her uncle committed sucide or got a heart attack towrads the end of the book when he discovered that his wife was having an affair. the wife had her designs on the hero.

Hi all this is a very vague request and I apologise in advance. The heroine has a small child (crawling or just started walking). The hero may or may not be the father. There's a scene where the heroine is not around for some reason and the kid just hangs out with the hero while he's working in his home office. It's not much, but I have faith in our commenters super sleuthing skills

Hi! I need help finding 2 books. I don't remember much about either book. 1) The h gives the H a Valentine's card. She doesn't put her name on it, but everyone knows she did it. The H is her boss.
2) The h has always had a huge crush on the H. She used to always bring him chocolate (I think she makes it). Something happened, and she stopped.
I know that is not a lot of information, but that is all I can remember.

So today I remembered (randomly) the book that made me fall in love with the romance genre. I was maybe eleven? Definitely shouldn't have been reading harlequin romance novels but anyway.... Anyway, I'd really like to have it but I can't remember the title.Here's what I remember...
It was contemporary. She wanted to be perfumer, but all her perfumes smelled bad until she met the MC. I think he was her neighbor but I'm not sure.
There were kittens. One of the kittens name was Eight Ball.
It released either the early 2000's or in the nineties. I think it was Harlequin, but I'm not positive. It definitely had a modern cover, not one of the skinny red/blue/pink genre covers.

Hopefully one of you can help me. All I can remember is the end. The heroine is looking for her family. She gets in contact with her sister, who's obviously married a billionaire, and discovers her brother who's a Russian billionaire, or something similar. The hero has her at some moldy castle/mansion somewhere and the brother sends a helicopter to pick her up and she goes to see the sister in London (I think). The hero comes after her and she's at the pool with her relatives an their kids. The hero somehow knows the brother and I believe the heroine is pregnant. Does this ring any bells?

Hi all, asking for a friend,but does anyone know this book...The hero and heroine are about to get married but she jilts him at the last minute because she is led to believe that he's only marrying her because she got pregnant.
She runs away, literally leaving him standing at the altar waiting for her..He tracks her down a few months later and eventually they resolve all misunderstandings and agree to get married, she also has the baby on the interim.
The last scene is very similar to the first one because she's once again running late for the wedding and her best friend (who was also in the opening scene) is telling her to hurry up because the hero would be getting anxious. And the baby starts crying just then because it's hungry. So the heroine tells the BFF to go reassure the hero and their guests and she'll come as soon as the baby is fed. But the hero shows up right then, not worried at all, and keeps the heroine company while the BFF goes to talk to the guests.

i am looking for several books1. the hero and heroine meet at heroine family i think there is a yard sale and h has come to make a bidding on a family heirloom. the h comes from old money and is shy and is a lecture. they have a one night stand in h family library and she ends up pregnant.
2. all i recall of this other book is that the hero had some sort of issues and the h in course of book leaves him and asks him to seek counseling.
3. i recall the h was leaving a party or so and sees H parked in car at night sort of passed out and she rescue him and he starts to persue her

This is a really old book that I read in the 80s or 90s. All I remember is the the h is blackmailed into being the mistress. She tries to get out of it by cooking with chives - she found out he is allergic and later pretending to have a back injury. Thanks

Book 2 - long shot, not much to go off - hero has PTSD The Greek's Ultimate Conquest heroine does tell him to acknowledge his issues and get treatment etc.

Hi all, Does anyone know a book where the MCs get married. The heroine thinks they married for love but right afterwards the hero tells her he married her for revenge and is absolutely horrible to her. He changes his mind after she leaves him and tries to get her back. What stood out for me was the scene where he explains to her what happened with him and why he wanted revenge, but she calls him out on it, saying that she didn't have one single thing to do with what happened to him, and still he targeted her. He was cruel for cruelty sake and she didn't want to have anything to do with someone like that.
I'm also looking for another marriage for revenge trope book, where the hero used to be poor and married the heroine after he gets rich. They encounter a snobbish family at a party and the hero tells the heroine how horrible they were to him when he was poor and how he deeply hated them. So the heroine asks him, why he didn't marry their daughter, since he had as much reason to hate that family as he hated hers. Much later he tells her, it never even occurred to him to marry her.

Hello book supersleuthsI hope you can help me track down a book I read years ago and I'm desperate to find.
It was a late 80s or early 90s Mills & Boon book. It was initially set in the UK (I think), the heroine was a nurse (I think) and she ran away from the hero and ended up working in a hospital in Juneau, Alaska. She ended up there because she hated the cold and it was the last place anyone would look for her.

All I can remember is that the heroine's sister passed away, along with her husband (I think), who is related to the hero. The heroine gets pregnant and the hero doesn't believe it is his. She miscarries (I think) and they go their separate ways. Some time later, she is staying overseas at a house that belonged to the heroine's sister, that perhaps the heroine's sister didn't like. Hero comes back into the. picture, along with his family. Over time, they start sleeping with one another again and she gets pregnant by him again by the end.

Need help, the h & H is participating in an online game every night 'till one day the H is introduced in h's company and she recognizes his voice. the h has some kind of allergies when touching people. There's a scene where the H is resting and the h tries to kiss him to check whether her allergies react or not and the H woke up furious.

I think the first one is a Penny Jordan book, H is much older than h. H might be a politician or titled. One of the regulars would know it.
I think the book with the woman who miscarries and then is staying at her sister’s place and ends up getting pregnant again by the same guy (brother of hr sister’s husband I think) is by Lynne Graham The inherited mistress or something like that

But the h was living with H and while he was away her brother showed up and stole something from the house, the H kicked her out and thought she was cheating(he didn't know she had a brother) and a thief.
Here is the part where I don't know if it belongs to the same book or not
h left and had an accident in the train station and was pregnant and got amnesia.
Her brother had a twin who was dead. And he eventually showed up again and met the H at the end.

The heroine and hero don’t really like one another. They are forced to get married, then fall in love. At the beginning of the novel, the heroine is riding on her horse and she bumps into the hero’s horse, sending him in the water. When she tries to help the protagonist up, he drags her down with him. The king and the guy’s mistress find them together and they take it lightheartedly. The hero is the king’s friend and the heroine is his ward, friends daughter. Later on, the guy’s mistress’ brother drugs the hero and the heroine and drags them to the protagonist’s room. The couple wakes up in the morning and are found by the king and are forced to get married. She does not want to get married at all, but the guy sort of agrees to do his duty. They do get married. The hero’s mistress kind of elopes with her brother’s friend and she ends up getting murdered. The story is set around the kings court area, the court environment and setting is important to the beginning of the book. If I can please get help with the title.
