Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

Neri, Sounds a bit like Prince of Lies by Robyn Donald.

Because it is! Thank you so much. I remembered how chilled & tense the opening made me feel but nothing else. Thank you, thank you, thank you again!

Great, Neri. Glad I could help.

This is the Harlequin Presents Readers book search. None of the books are YA.

Sounds similar to An Independent Wife but not an exact match

Song of the Waves by Anne Hampson

I'm not sure I'd recommend it (I mean, I love it, but I wouldn't recommend it), but Maggie's Dad by Diana Palmer fits the bill.

Please help me find this book. I don't remember much. The hero/heroine has someone trying to do something bad to them. Either damage his/her/both their reputations or stalk either or both of them etc. The heroine also has a sister who has a teenaged or pre-teen daughter. Mid way through the book they (the sister and daughter; I don't remember if there was also a husband and father) move away to a different country.
Plot points I'm not fully sure of:
1. The heroine's niece may have actually been her daughter that her sister adopted
2. the heroine may have been a widow, whose late husband owned a business with his brother. Now that the husband is dead the heroine (who inherited her husband's share) and her BIL are business partners.

This sounds like 2 different books.
The first reminds me of one I've read, but can't remember the name of.
Could the second be The Mistress Deception

The plot is like the hero is some friend of business partner of heroine's dad, kinda older and likes the heroine on sight.
I remember a scene when they make out in the heroine's room or balcony and the hero is set on seducing her and pursues her intensely. I hope someone can help me:)
Thank you!

Its not that unfortunately :(

I don't remember much. Towards the end, the hero and heroine are in love and planning to get married, and the hero gifts the heroine a gorgeous wedding dress. While he is away for some reason, she finds out he betrayed her in some way (I think she thinks he's cheating), but some very definitive way. So she goes to the place where the gown is stored, cuts it to pieces and leaves him. She gives him some flimsy reason, but he realises there's more to the story when he finds out about the dress. That's all I remember.

is it Proof of Their Forbidden Night by Chantelle Shaw ?

I'd really appreciate the book's name. Thank you.

It might by The Man Who Risked it All by Michele Reid.

Thank you so much. This was the book I was looking for.

Yay!

It might by Handful of Stardust. He meets h for first time in his garden and she rejects him because she thinks she lives OM.

Hi Rom,
Thank you for responding, but that's not the book I read. Appreciate the help, though!

Secret baby story. She lives on a remote island, Scotland maybe? She met the hero while showing him the property. He was also a virgin.

The H and h first met during the summer when they were younger, he’s royal and visits the beach town every year. She is from a very religious family (father a pastor?). They meet secretly, she gets pregnant and her family disowned her. She sends him a letter. Letter gets intercepted and they send her money instead.
They meet again years later when he finds out about his daughter.

Solved: Married for the Sheikh's Duty

it is the final novel of a trilogy for some princess where she is requested to marry the future ruler of her country.
I remember man is illegitimate and is being asked to take the throne after two previous options in the first two nvels ended up not panning out

Than you!!!

Enjoy!
Kevin - I'm thinking of a couple of series which might fit what you are looking for. The House of Karedes series was followed by another "connected" series called Dark-Hearted Desert Men, the first in this series might be the one you are looking for. https://www.goodreads.com/series/5988... otherwise, I'll try to locate the other series I was thinking of

Hi. Is it 'The Desert King's Virgin Bride' - Sharon Kendrick. Part of 'The Desert Princes' trilogy?

please help me find these two books with similar themes:
1. The heroine is forced to marry the hero by her father. She agrees because she sees it as a way of escaping her father's influence. After the marriage, they attend a party hosted by the hero's friend/business associate. She escapes from there but the hero finds her within a few days.
2. The hero is to marry the heroine's stereotypically good looking sister, but she runs away a few days before the wedding. The heroine's father makes her take the sister's place. She agrees because the father is a misogynist jerk and does not value the heroine's and does not let her participate in the business even though she is very intelligent and highly educated. She hopes the hero would be different. The hero knows that it's the heroine he's marrying but does not protest during the wedding. Afterwards he tells her she's not the bride he chose. (He chose the sister because with her he expected a practical relationship with no emotional attachment).
