Help! I can't remember the name of this book...

Wow Paola, you're good! Upon the Storm is the book! I've wondered about the name for far too many years. Thank you so much for giving me peace of mind. ;-)

The book begins with the H being blackmailed by his father into marriage with the daughter of his business associate. (The H's father had a medical problem recently i..."
I don't have a specific idea, but it may be one of the books in this thread?: H marries heroine due to business deal/blackmail/etc

I got it. Its The C.O.O Must Marry by Maxine Sullivan. Thanks to everyone.

I think this is Valentino's Love-Child by Lucy Monroe.

Thank you so much. Yes that is the book

The Greek and the single mum

You're welcome. Glad I could help.

It takes place in New York City involving a young fireman named Drew that was involved with a young lady ( I cannot remember her name) who he went to school with and when she became pregnant her very conservative Catholic family kicked her out of the house and she went to stay with her aunt on Long Island to have the baby boy Kyle. The young lady comes back to New York a couple years later with her son and stays with her cousin Jamie and to tell Drew that she had his son. Drew has a big family and his sister owns a café next to his fire house and his sister’s name is Jannie. The herons three brothers name is our Mark, Michael and Daniel and they are all NYC cops.
Thank y’all for your help!

This doesn't sound like an HP (Harlequin Presents). Was it from one of the other Harlequin lines?

Are you sure it was NY and not Boston? Those names and the story line sound like Shannon Stacey‘s Boston Fire Series. That series is from Carina Press, which is part of Harlequin.

It's a 6 book series. I quite enjoyed them. The first book is Heat Exchange.
But now I look at the plots, I don't see one like you are looking for, yet I know the names are familiar. I'll go back through my Kindle and see if I can find what I'm remembering.

The book I’m looking for I do think it took place in New York City but it could be because I’ve read a lot of mafia romance books lately and they all take place in New York, it seems. 😀 thanks!

Captivated by Her Innocence

I am looking for a book where H has been dead for a while but his wife wants to become pregnant. The h uses artificial insemination to be pregnant and the H returns back but thinks that h has betrayed him

Maybe is Reclaiming His Pregnant Widow of Tessa Radley

Found it. For Baby's Sake

The only scene I remember is that the H comes back some from trip? and when he comes inside the apartment, he finds loud music and the clothes strewn everywhere (both male and female). He is praying thats its not the h and finds the nanny he engaged in bed with her boyfriend while his kids are crying. He immediately dismisses the nanny and when the h returns she finds the billionaire taking care of his babies.
Can anybody help me find this book?

Could be Reluctant Mistress, Blackmailed Wife by Lynne Graham

Maybe

Is it possible you have combined two different series? Some details are similar to the Orsini brothers series by Sandra Marton and some sound like Sabbitini brothers series by Melanie Milburne

Thank you reeder (reviews). Its Reluctant Mistress, Blackmailed Wife by Lynne Graham.

The Spanish Duke's Virgin Bride..."
Nope, that's not it.. But thanks for trying :)

Towards the end, the heroine gifts the hero a pair of dogs.

Unless this is a popular plot trope (gosh, I hope not, lol), I think it's The Italian in Need of an Heir by Lynne Graham.

The h is at the theater with her friend when they spot a guy (our H) who looks remarkably like the h. They feel an undeniable attraction. The big mystery of the book is if they're related or not and there is also some family drama involving suicide or a fire (or both...) and affairs and etc etc. Angst ensues. Turns out they are not related (not really a spoiler...hopefully) as their folks didn't cheat.

THANK YOU! That's the one.

This sounds a lot like the The Cozakis Bride

Nana, one that springs to mind immediately is The Ultimate Betrayal by Michelle Reid.

Yes, I recall that one. I think that scene is right near the beginning of the book as I recall. Thank you for thinking of that one. If you think of anymore please let me know.

I lost a Harlequin (I'm pretty sure it was a vintage one) where the h lives in Alaska. I don't really remember what she did but I remember she was sort of in charge of transporting groceries or cargo that arrived. I think she might have been charge of a grocery store or working for one (something like that lol).
The H was her best friend. The H and h had a one night stand and the h ends up pregnant. The h hides it from him and I think someone he suspected or the h stops communicating with him. I remember a scene where the H flies out in secret with the cargo on the plane to Alaska and once it lands, the door opens and the h is surprised by the H's appearance. She might have been visibly pregnant when he first saw her or he finds out once he gets out and she tries to hide it.
Sadly that's all I remember, everything else is foggy. Can anybody help me find this book?

Hi Nana, not a conversation but a letter with the cliched but highly dramatic: "Do you know where your husband will be tonight?" = The Marriage War by Charlotte Lamb. (ETA: missed the part where you wanted a grovel...not really one in this book...he does apologize though? For a Lamb H, that's as much as you can hope for though...)

That was a good one too. Just reread it. Thank you.

Another book whose blurb I remember but could not read it is that hero and heroine are freinds since childhood and they get married. They have separate bedrooms and heroine doesn't enjoy sex Hero gets in a dangerous situation which makes heroine realise that she was in love with him.She starts enjoying sex but hero begins doubting her that somebody else has been introducing her to the pleasures of flesh.

The prime maybe is Cruel Angel of Sharon Kendrick
