No, not really. Just remember the h being afraid the H was there to take the baby from her and him telling her previously she could keep anything she accumulated from the marriage when it was dissolved. I don't remember if she just left or the H officially decided to end the marriage. The h was pretty frail too when he found her. Sorry I can't be more helpful. If I think of anything I'll post it.

Sali | 39 comments Hello, i need help finding a harlequin romance.
All I can remember is that it's about a line of supermarkets and the heroine works for the hero or with him. I think her father used to own a small grocery store and she's a bit resentful about the big supermarket line concept that makes it hard for small business owners. I'm not sure but maybe it's a yvonne whittal or a winspear book. Help please!

I am looking for a harlequin romance book where heroine is youngest half sister of powerful brothers(3) and gets married to hero thinking the marriage is genuine but finds out that hero married her as part of business deal with her brothers. She separates for a year or so and for some reason has the get back and carry on with her marriage

One title that comes to mind is Tara Pammi's Blackmailed by the Greek's Vows, but that heroine has only 2 brothers and I thought the whole married-for-business-reasons bit was overshadowed by his coldness/emotional cruelty during their marriage.

Tricia (tricialen) | 10 comments Help...me remember the name of this book. I think it might be by Anne Mather/Lynne Graham/Michelle Reid. The hero and the heroine meet in the winter time in the English countryside. He almost hits her and wrecks his car. They take shelter in a barn and end up having sex. She was a virgin. Two years later they are together living in London but he keeps her separate from his 'real' life. She wants to celebrate their anniversary and he tells her no, she's his mistress. They break up and she goes to live with a girl friend. Then she finds out she's pregnant. The hero's nasty sister plays a part in braking them up and there's another man but only has a friend. (her girlfriend's brother). She goes to a cottage to think over her life and the hero follows her there but the other guy was there too? Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Sounds a bit like Bride for Real - really not sure, it depends on the order I guess. They were married but separated due to loss of a baby. While they were separated, hero unbeknownst to him, got OW from book 1 pregnant. h is pregnant towards the end of the book.

message 5318: by Cathy (new)

Cathy | 2 comments I'm pretty sure this is a Harlequin Presents but not 100% certain. The h is the youngest child in the family and has older, jealous sisters (pretty sure they were blonde while h is darker hair - turns out it's because her mother had an affair and the man she thought was her father is not which is why he was distant to her growing up). The h had a teenage crush on the H and is surprised when he proposes marriage. I think she loses her virginity to him in the pool/guest house after he suggests they get married. The H has been a part of her family for years and is like the son her father never had. The mother considers it quite an accomplishment when the h marries the H. Thanks in advance for your help!

Deepshikha Singh | 1 comments Please help me find this book.
In this book, the h's sister(ow) and the H were lover. They stayed at different places and wrote letters to each other. Somehow, it was always the h who replied to H on behalf of her. H and OW were going to marry, thus H was waiting for her at the railway station, I guess. But ow didn't come, in her place h came to convey that ow ran away. H was devastated cause he really loved ow and besides he had made all arrangement. He was going to get a shop. I think he was going to buy it but I think it was something like he could buy or get the shop only if he is a married man. So he was going to lose the shop as well, he wasn't rich. The h suggested they should get marry in order to get the shop. They got married, H was a gentleman, never blamed her. He showed h her room which was supposed to be the ow's rrom. He had bought new furniture for ow.

h used to help H with his shop. She used to make biscuits/ cookies for train passengers and sell it near the railway station. Everyone loved her biscuits. Then at last the ow can and told the h to leave cause now she was sure she loved H and wanted to marry him. Ow said that she had kept her things near the stairs and she should leave before H comes. h left. H found out what happened, went to a forest(i think) and found her their. It was the forest where H had brought h for a walk.

They had a HEA

please tell me it's name if you know.

Jelena Atanaskovic | 5 comments I am looking for a book from the seventies. The hero comes from Austria, he is a race driver and i think he has a title like a baron or something. The heroine grew up in a convent. He left here after they got married, she secretly had their son.

message 5324: by Nawel (last edited May 28, 2021 10:09AM) (new)

Nawel Salhi | 21 comments If someone could help me with the title of this book(or series),i would really appreciate it.The story starts with the hero recently released from prison, trying to find the heroine who he thinks collaborated to send him in prison. He apparently finds her, they spend the night together in which the heroine loses virginity. In the morning he acts revengful, bullies heroine and leaves her shredded.Sometimes later heroine finds out that she is pregnant and contacts the hero, only for him to deny the child and acting to her like a jerk again. The hero meanwhile is engaged to a woman and they as seen in the book don't love each other.Months later the heroine gives birth to a boy in the house of the hero,to only him acting again like a jerk and throwing her out the other day.She then gives him an ultimate chance to recognise his child which he of course refuses.Later hero repents and tries to pass time with his son without the knowledge of the heroine.Their child is later kidnapped and that's where the story gets more interesting and new hidden things from the past start to fall out. It's contemporary and the heroine's name is Liz(Elizabeth) and she is a law graduate. The H and h had a thing for each other since high school. The story of the book is settled in Boston or probably Chicago

The book sounds interesting, but it’s not the one I’m searching. The hero lives for some time in England too, I’m not certain that he is a baron. They are definitely married, long separated and have a young son, he doesn’t know about the child though.

Carla (carla121) | 36 comments A long, long time ago I read this book and now I just can't remember the title and who is the author. All I know is that it's an old mills & boon or maybe harlequin. The H is much older than the h, who must be in her twenties or a little bit less. At the beggining of the story the H knocks on her door, she is pregnant of a pilot who died, he thinks it's his son's baby. I'm not completely sure his son's name is Mark, but she only rents a room (or apartment?) from his son. I remember she is very thin and has money problems. She argues with the H and I guess she faints or something. I believe he will take care of her but I don't remember the rest of the story. Does anybody know which book is this?

Grrrrace (ecargo) | 5 comments Hi! Vintage HP: hero is a director (or possibly an actor). Heroine is a teacher who is on the movie set to tutor the hero's kid (I think). She is waifish with big glasses. Towards the end of the book, the hero has her stand-in for lighting (he tells her anyway) in a Western saloon scene sans glasses with a "gorilla-like" actor and the camera loves her. I have long thought it was Sonora Sundown by Janet Dailey, but now that I'm re-reading that one, I realize it isn't. Anyone know what this is? Thanks!
