This book was spell binding. It was an amazing personal description of David Howarth's escape and survival in a WWII failed espionage mission in the snow-covered world of Scandanavia. To top if off was learning about how people of Scandanavia assisted him in getting to safety. Those Scandanavian's were/ probably are amazingly good Nordic skiers.

Saw this at a flea market! Terrific account of a spy trying to survive in Nazi occupied Norway. Very fast read.
Read this on Kindle. An truly amazing story of survival against all odds. Only complaint, the photos in the book don't look very good on Kindle 1. Kindle 2 might solve this problem.
