I'm reading it right now. I have the original US hardcover edition where this is actually part of Ships of Merior.
I'm a little more than a third through. Reading was slow last week because of extra hours, but I'm back on track...
Just started this one last night. I've only read the first chapter so far, but it sure starts out with a bang.
have read, need to reread but don't have the spare time yet. Will be keeping up with the discussions here
Chris wrote: "I finished it last night: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/..."Nice review, Chris.
I'm hoping to re-read this sometime soon. I've just finished Ships of Merior, so after finishing off some other reading, I will be ready for this one. (I'm taking my series read through at a leisurely pace this time around, instead of racing through like I normally do when I re-read a series.)
I just went on a buying spree and ordered almost all of the books in the series. I still have to read the first two books to get caught up, but I am determined!I wasn't able to catch up in time to participate in any of the Miles series discussion, and sincerely regretted it. I will not miss out again!
My only disappointment is that I couldn't find a hardcover of one edition. But, someday, in a used book store far, far away...
Currently reading. Anyone else, new readers or re-readers? I'd love to discuss this series with other readers, it is just the kind of story that begs for it, so many details and plot layers.

Hi Sandra :) ehehe, sure I'd love to hear what you think about my questions, I've posted here and there and I hope you and others who are reading the series will join the discussion, but bear with me, I'm still in the first half of Vastmark. And I'm hooked, simply.
I'm still wishing a lot of uncompromising physical pain on Dakar (but considering the "latest" developments I'm trying to pity him and hope he's going to take the risk to confront his fears).
