I just spent almost my whole evening holed up in my room watching youtube.So exciting.
I have been listening to the Troy and LOTR soundtracks while writing some parts of my newest story (though, I would never publish it anywhere because it's more of a fanfic than anything else... :P) and playing Sims 2. :D I just had piano lessons for an hour and fifteen minutes.
-Still mourning the end of the first national Spring Awakening tour.-Rejoicing in the fact that I just had my last day of classes this year!
-Plotting to find a way to get my mom to bring me to Bridgeport, CT to see a musical/visit a college (my mom doesn't like visiting colleges, my dad doesn't like musicals....at least one has to bring me).
well right now im answering my long list of emails, which is annoying because i should be revising.
this week, im doing exams :(
and on staurday i'm going to my first ever hiring :D

I am working on my school newspaper (I be the editor) while also being on goodreads.
Cool. I'm on Goodreads... and FB. Nothing exciting. But on Saturday I'll hopefully be going to my first dance! yay!

Lol. For a little while we had a family "newspaper". We would put down random little updates on everything going on in the family and send it to our relatives. But we haven't done that in a while.

I am working on my music theory book. I have to do 15 pages because I have this test for this competition I'm doing on the piano... So I'm working on writing the secondary triads for different scales. Blegh.
Yuck.I am listening to Adele and looking for career test because those are fun to take. =D

Mm. I'm feeling sick right now, and hoping I get better for all the memorial day stuff. (QUESTION(for anyone): Does your state make almost as large a deal of memorial day as it does the 4th of July?)We are having a parade, fireworks, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I do not want to be sick. And who knows, if I'm feeling well, and dad is feeling nice, he might take my mom and I do the Green and Gold ball! We'd have to miss the fireworks... but I don't care!

No one does anything on Memorial Day where I'm from. I'm just going to sit home and do nothing on Mondsay :P That's what I always do anyway, though...
My neighbor just surprised me and invited me and my mom to go to New York City(!) with her in a week and a half!!!!! We're staying for two nights! This is going to rock! I've never slept in a city before, so that'll be interesting. Also, the first day we go, there's apparently going to a huge party on a street with a bunch of museums. We're also going to go to Central Park and the Museum of Natural History. And on Wednesday, my neighbor is bringing us to see American Idiot, the musical based off of Green Day's album, when I will hopefully be getting a picture with this sad, soulful sleepyhead:http://www.berkeleyrep.org/press/imag...

At my town, there's technically more done for the 4th of July, but there's a lot more community involvement in Memorial Day activities. On 4th of July, some random guys set up an amusement park in one of our football fields. There are fireworks, games, and lots of food, but it's not a very community type thing. On Memorial Day, we have a parade from the center of town to the local public school with all of the major community organizations in the town, like baseball teams and Girl Scout troops. After that, there's a baseball game between some of the teams. Sometimes there are inflatable moon bounces too. :D
Mm... I have an aunt who lives in NYC. She keeps saying I need to come visit her. We just need to find the time in both our schedules. Then I'd probably stay for a week. Yeah. My town doesn't do much on the 4th of July. But on Memorial day they make a huge deal of it. A parade, art show, car show, they open the fairegrounds, music, fireworks, etc. Lots of fun.
That's weird. On the 4th where I'm at, we have the Stampede Carnival and Rodeo, and then fireworks everywhere and a giant parade and everyone has barbecues.
Mm. Where are you? I'm in New England... I'm not sure I'll say more then that. But the town near us does quite a bit, and lots of the other towns around do a lot.
I live in Colorado. We do all this crazy stuff on the 4th! :O

ooo! fiddler on the roof- my uncle loves that song. Well I've been avoiding my laptop for the last couple of days so I dont have to sit for hours looking at all my emails. I cant hide anymore. I've been up all night and i feel kind of sick. and i need to eat.
