Ravenclaw26 | 105 comments OK, so here's this idea I had.

You know how twilighters have certain (annoying) phrases or ways of saying things?(Besides twihardian) Well, I was thinking we could do the same thing with our favorite book characters.

OH MY CARLISLE!/OMC (Yes, they actually say this)

Oh my Palpatine! OMP
Oh my Dumbledore! OMD
Oh my Gandalf! OMG (huh)
Oh my Bluestar! OMB
Oh my Dracula! OMD

And you know how they say RPattz and KStew? Well, I Potterfied these because a) These sound awesome and b) I'm a Potterholic.

D-Radd
R-Grin (hmm... looks a bit like chagrin D: )
E-Watt

I love how all their names mean something awesome!!!!!!!!

So yeah... feel free to add different twilighter phrases and ideas (or criticize mine)

Becuase he's sexy and I was telling my friend that he wasn't going to be in the second ToS game....

Fan-girls all around the world cried (including me)... tombs were made, burying all their Kratos chibis, wigs, pictures, posters, cosplay outfits.... Tales of Symphonia games were destroyed and pictures of Kratos hung up in every alley saying "How can you hurt a face like this?"

It was a sad day....

Hahahahahhahaha!!! Yeah we use platypuses. They even cross the roads here with the kangaroos. :D I'm serious! O.o

They have road signs saying, watch out for Kangaroos, ducks, platypuses, you name it! >_<

hahahaha

I even once saw a kangaroo at the side of the road because it was hit by a big car.

If it was hit by a small car... trust me, the driver and his/her passengers would be injured! >_<

message 26: by Randi (new)

Randi (The Artist Formerly known as Guitar Chick) (guitarchick) Hahaha. You're lucky. I've never actually seen a realy platypus. I own a little stuffed Perry. But actually wait....I HAVE! It was realy it was just stuffed and in a museum. Like it was a living platypus at one time.

message 49: by Ravenclaw26 (last edited Jun 17, 2010 06:35PM) (new)

Ravenclaw26 | 105 comments I heard that Uncle Sam was made up because US (United States) on crates could also be an acronym for Uncle Sam.

...And I don't like most cheeses... I know- I'm one of a kind.

message 50: by Kimathy (new)

Kimathy :P i love looking up random information...

"In the year 1812, a large quantity of provisions fat for the army were purchased at Troy, N.Y., by Elbert Anderson, a government contractor. The goods were inspected by two brothers, Ebenezer and Samuel Wilson. The last named was invariably known among the workmen as "Uncle Sam." The packages were marked E.A.-U.S. On being asked the meaning of these initials, a workman jokingly replied that he did not know unless they meant Elbert Anderson and Uncle Sam. So the title became current among the workmen, soldiers, and people, and the United States Government is now known affectionately as "Uncle Sam" [3:].

Uncle Sam became a useful icon in cartoons, much like the John Bull character who represented the United Kingdom. John Bull and Uncle Sam have squared off in hundreds of political cartoons throughout the years.

The most famous image of the Uncle Sam persona was a World War I recruiting image that depicted a stern Sam pointing his finger at the viewer and declaring, "I want you." It was painted by artist James Montgomery Flagg in 1917, just prior to US involvement in World War I."
