Kate Daniels (Iron Convenant) / Ilona Andrews

But I really don't like the serial idea for Hugh's book...their serials take ages to come out in audio.

Sad we have to wait till May 2018 for the next Kate, but rather have it done right!"
Thanks! I second that! Anxious for Hugh's book/serial.

The audio for Innkeeper 3 has been released. It wasn't that long after the book release. Renee was on her honeymoon so they waited for her.

I'll wait until its out as a complete book. Not a fan of serials.

Glutton for punishment!

For those who have read
, Ilona and Gordon posted a Rogan POV snippet on their blog.

I'm not looking at it, so please spoiler block any chatter about it, thanks :)

Speaking of Innkeepers, this latest one Sweep of the Blade, is absolutely awesome. Dina's sister Maud, niece Helen & Arland on Arland's home world.

Oh, and, yeah, I'll definitely wait to read any parts of the final book until I have the whole kit and kaboodle in my hand. *finalbook*sob*

I usually read them sometime during the week, then buy the published edition. But this time I'm actually hanging for when its posted.

I'm definitely gonna read the online bit soon.

Also, saw they've shared deets on Iron and Magic. According to this Blog Post, what started out as an April Fool's joke in 2015 is now happening. "We are proud to announce IRON AND MAGIC, the first book in Hugh d’Ambray series.
We have a release date.
6/26/18
We have a book blurb.
No day is ordinary in a world where Technology and Magic compete for supremacy…But no matter which force is winning, in the apocalypse, a sword will always work.
Hugh d’Ambray, Preceptor of the Iron Dogs, Warlord of the Builder of Towers, served only one man. Now his immortal, nearly omnipotent master has cast him aside. Hugh is a shadow of the warrior he was, but when he learns that the Iron Dogs, soldiers who would follow him anywhere, are being hunted down and murdered, he must make a choice: to fade away or to be the leader he was born to be. Hugh knows he must carve a new place for himself and his people, but they have no money, no shelter, and no food, and the necromancers are coming. Fast.Hopefully this isn't another April Fool's joke. ;)
Elara Harper is a creature who should not exist. Her enemies call her Abomination; her people call her White Lady. Tasked with their protection, she’s trapped between the magical heavyweights about to collide and plunge the state of Kentucky into a war that humans have no power to stop. Desperate to shield her people and their simple way of life, she would accept help from the devil himself—and Hugh d’Ambray might qualify.
Hugh needs a base, Elara needs soldiers. Both are infamous for betraying their allies, so how can they create a believable alliance to meet the challenge of their enemies?
As the prophet says: “It is better to marry than to burn.”
Hugh and Elara may do both.
They've also shared a very long excerpt here and are running a contest for a series name. Details: The contest will last until Wednesday 04/04/2018, and the winner will receive a signed copy of IRON AND MAGIC and will be mentioned in Acknowledgements for bragging rights. They can also choose to read an advance copy, but we are not doing paper for those, so it would be an ebook.

The winner of the contest was announced the other day.

ETA: The Iron Covenant, the winner was the first to post this one on April 1 at 12.50pm, Joanne. So she got in really early.

That said, I agree that I'd prefer to wait for an excellent conclusion to the series.
