1st of the season! The high 90's are here and so is the humidity! Not supposed to "break" until Wed or Thurs and then it's going to "drop" into the high 80's!!! Sigh! I watered earlier what I know seems to get wilty in this kind of hot sun, so hopefully everything pulls through!

Don't know how much rain you all are having, but if you need to water in super-hot weather -- wait until the sun goes down. Sometimes when plants leaves are really hot, water will scorch them. Also it evaporates really fast.
gotta watch that evening watering! can breed mold pretty quick! especially when it comes to zinnia's! i water early in the morning to get my lovely's through the day when it's this sunny & hot! i don't water w/a hose! i water w/a pitcher so the only thing that gets wet is the soil! no foliage or petals!
