i thought the end was kind of cool, im really happy that they left some questions unanswered because what fun would it be if you knew everything??
maybe, but i think i would have been disipointed with the answers, its cooler to just always wonder what they are, but i would have liked to know what the sugar bowl really was
VFD was the volunteer fire department, wasnt it?i would have liked to know if the triplets ever met the baudelaires again. or if the triplets came together again. or even what happened to other people.
I liked it. I thought it left to many questions at the end though. But hey, we can't know everything.
it seems like the triplets was like, forgotton about or something. so wanted to hear about them!!!!! there were so many unanswered questions, but i think that if snicket had answered them all then it would be against the whole style of the series, you know? although it would have been nice to know!
i thought it was good. i had suspected that beatrice was the bauldilaire's (how ever you spell that) mom. i really wanted to know about the sugar bowl.
i practically died at the end cause of the sugar bowl. and whatever happened to captain widdershins? (or did we find out, i can't remember)
No, we didn't find out... I didn't really care about him. I only cared about the quagmires really...
(in high snobby voice) "call me ISH!" and "the only thing we have to eat here is sushi and coconuts!!!" (or something like that anyways)
isn't made of coconuts? (actually i don't remember what they ate except it was limited to like, two ingredients or something)
yeah! They ate ceviche which was made of raw seafood (not mentioned what!) and coconut cordial ....
I finished it . i actually read 4 ch.z & listened to the rest. It was good but there were too much unanswered questions. I just understood that Beatrice was the buadlaires mom.

I'm glad you finished it! :) I think it would have been weird, though, if everything was answered and happy at the end, like in Harry Potter. That's just not the style the Lemony Snicket writes in...
I read this series a long time ago... basically forgot everything. But I really despised this book. Too many unanswered questions... this one failed my expectations.
Yeah HP 's ending was not as god as everone supposed it should have been ... every part of the book was excellent , except the ending ... It just didn't have and the wizarding world lived happily ever after at the end!! She shouldn't have written the "19 years later" part... and we will end it here , going back to "The End" topic again!!
Hey, I liked the epilogue... how else would you have wanted it to end? With him being not happy??? Sorry... back to "the end"... just had to add my two cents...
Fine! It was... but still... would you have wanted him to be unhappy at the end?? How bad would that have been?? Plus, "All is well" is a nice catch phrase. You can say it around other Harry Potter fans in a suitable time, and it's hilarious!
But tha epilogue wasn't as catchy and great as the whole series...see , harry defeated voldy at the end , so we knew that everything was finished in a ttly good way , the "19 years later" part was'nt neccesary we knew Hermy & ron liked eachother & also Harry & Ginny , we knew Snape was agreat man , we knew Neville would do s.th awesome at herbology , so it just didn't fit the smart J.K Rowling , you know...
Yeah, I guess I know what you mean... but it's still want Jo wanted right?? I mean, she *is* the author.. ;)
ahhhh, i hated the end of The End, your left completly hanging. :( He really needs to write another one.
hmmm... i must say, if he answered all the questions it would be against his style.la la laaaa la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaaa! :)

Lemony Snicket is that kind of author. He'll leave you wanting and asking for more.

well, the problem is the questions aren't going to be answered anymore, the series is finished!!though I liked it... :D
