How do you keep track of your series?

Always trying to use GR shelves in more productive ways, keep those ideas comin'! :)

Gotcha! Here I am: http://www.fictfact.com/user/StephB
Do you recommend this??Lol, I don't really know why I'm even considering this because I spend enough time on here...
I've used it for almost a year and really like it. They email you when bks are added and/or coming out soon for series you follow. Plus it's easy to quickly see what's upcoming and where you stand on series. I don't get over there a lot, but it's easy to update when I do. Give it a go and see if it works for you. :)
It's a really easy way to keep track of series in order, and easily find what's next to read in your series...plus it has dates for when the newest books in that series will be released. I LOVE IT! Also, once you add your series, it's not really a time you spend a lot of time on, but can save you time elsewhere...

Hmmm...I'll have to check that! And browse Sandra's lists while I'm there! It WAS private...no surprise actually...I usually start with maximum privacy if possible...lol! Now public so come visit!See you there soon, Josie!
A few months ago, in preperation of my move-I reorganized my goodreads shelves. I created shelves by # in series. Then I made a Next In Series shelf and a Stand Alone Shelf. I don't have all the books in my goodreads TBR "shelved". I just periodically go through and update as I have time or have read from the shelves I created. So when I was unpacking my books, I printed out a the 1st, Next and Stand Alone shelves. Then I just put them all the same bookcase in my room. I didn't even organize the rest of my books. I read from the one bookcase, which has books to fit all my reading moods. When I have a chunk of space open, I update my gooodread shelves and search out some more books (that I'm ready to read) to fill in the case.
It's been workign really well for me and I'm no longer constantly rearranging books to try to fit in new acquisitions. I just can't seem to keep my books in order by author last name. Or any sort of alphabetical type order.

I think i added everyone above but feel free to add me:-)
Just added you! I did something on fictfact that I am proud of. I just removed all the series from my list that I don't want to read. I decided to use GR to be more detailed and have fictfact just be my short list. What a relief!
You're welcome, Mette. I got an email as well. I'll add you once I'm at my computer. Can't remember my login info. LOL!Good idea, Regina. I have some listed there that I know I probably won't continue to read too.
LOL! So very true! Like those reminders you set up on your computer but keep clicking on postpone vs done.

Gotcha, Mette. :)
I use Fict Fact and several notebooks are on the go too. Mainly just because I can take them with me when I go out.
Having something on hand when I'm out has been a must the past year. Otherwise chances are high I might accidentally buy something I already have waiting for me.

I also ordered a reading journal for YA book lovers. I hope it gets here soon so I can use it for the new year:
:) It's a definite helper! Glad you found it, Qylie. NOTE: If you notice a series is missing, they (the mods of that site) are VERY good at quickly adding it when requested.
I'm a relatively new recruit to fictfact, but I rely on it now. No more figuring out book reading orders from confusing authors Web sites! This is me: http://www.fictfact.com/user/lamessegee Feel free to contact me and recommend series based on what I've already got listed! Thanks!
I am over at www.Fictfact.com updating my lists and spotted some cool updates to the site. :DIf you haven't yet found your way to FictFact, sign up now! It's a series lovers dream!
New Updates:
1. Book Ratings ~ Add your rating to each read
2. Book Ownership ~ Add whether book is: Purchased, iBook, Paperback, Do not own, Own, eBook, Hardback, ePub, Borrowed, eBook Sample, Lent to someone, Sony Reader, Pre-ordered, Willing to lend, Checked out of library, Gifted, Need to buy, Sold, Returned to library, Gift, Nook, Audiobook, Reserved at library, Lost or Kindle (phew, thank goodness for cut & paste!)

** Not sure how new these features are since it's been a while since I've popped over there.
Yay! I ❤ FictFact! :D
I'll have to pop back over there later and do some more updating. ADD girl has found a new project. LOL!
I'm over there fairly often, and fairly up-to-date *neener, neener* but haven't checked out the reports yet! More fun things to add to the mostly boring to-do list!
LOL Judithe! I'm way behind on my updates over there. But, will try to spend some time catching up and checking out the new features. I love how they are on-top of what everyone's looking to get from the site. They are very quick to reply to any email requests/questions you send. Love it!Thanks for sharing your link, Mary.
Wicked Little Pixie has been working on their series list. Even as is, it's a great spot to see which authors write which series.
