Looking for a book - don't remember the name- the heroine was sick

Hi. I'm new to the group, so I'm not sure exactly how this goes.
I would appreciate your help in finding the name of a book I read some time ago.
All I remember is that the characters were married and were not getting along well. I think they were going to split up, but then something happened to the heroine and she got sick or she had an accident or she was in a coma and the husband was forced to stand by her.
I know she was really ugly for a while and he actually thought that she was pretty pathetic looking and felt very sorry for her, but he helped her get through the sickness and they fell back in love.
I think it was a contemporary romance. very touching. do you know this book?

Could it be Angel Falls by Kristin Hannah? I haven't read it yet, but it's on my TBR pile. I know the heroine falls into a coma and her husband stands by her, but I don't really know any other details about it.

it's not Angel Falls, but that looks like a book i'd like to read.
in the one i'm thinking about the hero really doesn't like the heroine at first, while she is recovering. it's just duty.
