I am trying to find a book and all I can remember about it was that it was a reference book at my library, it was brown, and it was about alphabets of the world. It had grids of all the alphabetic characters in different languages, and I'm pretty sure it was hardcover and oversized. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I went to look in my hometown library after about 20 years, and they had gotten rid of it. It's probably at least 30 or 35 years old, if not older.

This is about the right age (1978) Alphabet art :thirteen ABCs from around the world but I have no idea if it is hardcover or oversized. It's not very long. Was the book you were thinking of really long?
No, it was short! I am going to get it on Amazon and see if it is the right one, since there are no pictures and I am willing to spend the $4. I'll let you know!
