I personally put his invention to good use at least once a day. I also find myself often turning my head sideways when I type them or read them. I didn't even realize I used them as much as I do until The Munchkin (the 9 year old I babysit) gave me a plate she made for me with smiley faces all over it. That was several years ago. When I asked her why all the smiley faces, she said it's because they remind her of me because I'm always writing or typing or drawing smiley faces. I didn't realize I did it.

Anyway, my favorite is the cowboy hat-tipping smiley face-> <):)

I also like to do shark attack on occasion:

I send that one as a text every once in a while. It's been a long while since I've done that, though... like a couple of years at least. :)
