Older Book With New Up To Date Cover

I am reading this book - it's the new up to date cover.

I wonder why covers on older books are changed.

I've seen some newer books, where there are different covers as well.

The new one looks more modern, like a photograph, while older covers remind me of paintings. Maybe that's why they change them, to give them more modern flair.

Me too. It's more catchy. The older one is like a so-so romantic fantasy deal

I think they update them to be more modern, some of the older romance covers are really corny. I bet they change the cover as people are more likely to pick up a cover like this:

I know it is really shallow, but I would rather carry around a book like this first one, rather then the last one!

I like that second cover! It's so bright, and the guy is really cute!

The guy is very cute, but I still prefer the first one, I think it reflects the darker tone of the books a bit more, and also it reminds me of someone looking through some leaves or something in a jungle.

Have you noticed that Kresley Coles covers have changed style quite a bit from the first one?

Yes, I think a lot of fans didn't like the earlier book covers. I do like the newer ones better, I must admit.

I prefer the newer ones aswell, much better man chests on them : )
