Team Conrad all the way! Conrad is someone she'll never forget, Jeremiah is easy to be with for her but Conrad is in her heart forever. Read the third book guys!!
I dont know to be honest Conrad sounds like a DREAM !!!But he is a snob but after his mother dying he loses it and gets angry at anything but on the other hand Jeremiah is nice , HOT and charming but is more like a brother to Belly but they all are a love triangle but TEAM CONRAD AND TEAM JEREMIAH either im not bothered they both sound really nice x
Conrad is a jerkand Jeremiah is a playa
and Belly is a selfish brat!
I'd rather have the jerk though
honestly
the first book I hated Conrad
the second book I hated Belly
and third I hated Jeremiah
But over all, the books were okay, they did really grasp me so yeah gotta give em 3 stars
Team Conrad for sure, but well... He's been a totally jerk "forgeting" her birthday, leaving here in her prom and beeing with that girl in the funeral... So I'd prefer Belly to leave him, making him see that she's the one and then, when he begs enough maybe she could try something with him, but until he doesn't stop being so selfish I want her to be with Jeremiah, just to make him jealous... Ok, I've sounded like a bith... I'm not like this in real life, I swear.
team jere because i really loved he acted to belly and he was really cute and likeable idk i just love him so much, i was so sad when he punched conrad because his heart was broken.
JERELLY!!! As much as I liked Conrad chasing after Belly. I felt as if JEREMIAH deserved Belly so much more and I loved their childhood romance! Sorry Conelly!
JERE all the way!!He's way to good for selfish Belly. So sad how his character was spoiled in the third book :(
Anyway, he is much more realistic than Conrad's character throughout the books. What I really hated: Conrad could act like the greatest ass on earth- but well, since he is CONRAD, everything would be forgotten immediately.
Ugh idk Conrad was that mysterious guy that everybody wants to help make good but Jere was such a cute a fun character . They really did ruin him in the last book :/ I feel like that's something Jeremiah would never do especially to belly !!
Conrad and Belly were meant for each other. As cliché as that sounds its true. They fought for their love. If it wasn't real, then there wouldn't be so many obstacles they would have to overcome. Sure Jeremiah was the idealistic choice but it wasn't burning love. It wasn't the love between Belly and Conrad.
CONRAD!! The first two books i was with jere but then he became a dick and cheated on her and i wanted to punch him!! Like honestly, you go on about if you could have her you would love her and never breck her then you go out and have sex!! What planet do you come from?! I was Conrad all the way after that!!
I love them both so much!! But I like Belly with Conrad more and I like Belly and Jeremiah just as friends even though I know it will take them a while be become friends again.
Team Conrad all the way. He's deep and I can understand what he did when he did so I'm all gooey for him.
team Conrad since the start, although I did love Jere for his kind, brotherly ways towards Belly when they were younger. Honestly, I just think Belly was whinny and wanted her way all the time, but hey, still one of my favorite summer series'. :)
Even though I hated Conrad for the first two books I knew they were meant for each other. CONRAD ALL THE WAY!
At first I was team Jeremiah...but by the first part of the third book I'm with team no one..-_- Nonetheless I was okay with the ending, they were bound to happen anyway ever since the first book.
So to be honest I was team Conrad all the way, but I was kind of ticked off about the last book with the whole Jeremiah situation. I really think Jenny Han just made him a jerk and cheat on Belly because she needed a way for Belly to end up with Conrad. Although I was happy with her being with Conrad, I was upset that she changed Jere's who I always enjoyed since he was the fun, goofy, loving character. In my opinion she could have made this book way longing just to actually develop a better situation while keeping the characters the same . She had a strong fan base for this trilogy, so we all would have probably read a book the size of Harry potter just to know what happens. Lol

That is exactly what i thought. It was kind of wierd for belly to agree to marry jere when she was debating on being his girlfriend or not. Although im kind of glad that jeremiah cheated on her because if he hadnt, they would probably still be together and for me belly and conrad were the better couple, but like you, i also enjoyed jeres personality and i think Jenny Han could have found a different way to do what she did. All in all, i found it the best book of the series.

I think much of the third book was a character assassination. She didnt have to so drastically change Jeremiah. So now Jeremiah is the douche and Conrad isn't!?!? Conrad and his mood swings give me whiplash. Jeremiah was right that he deserved to be someone's first choice. I would have liked him to come to that realization without the new character flaws.
I love Conrad. Even though he was a jerk with problems in the beginning by the end of book two he changed. I felt so bad for Conrad when he walked in on Belly and Jeremiah kissing in the car. I was so glad when he had a POV in the 3rd book! I never really like Jeremiah, i mean he was okay as a friend... also when i found he hooked up with that girl i disliked him even more.
I wonder what the tally would be on the teams from this thread if it were added up.This is a tough question because there are really 2 answers for me. There is the real life answer and there is the fictional answer.
In real life the answer is Jeremiah. All women should want a man that treats them the way Jeremiah did. I'm also *temporarily* setting aside the Ross and Rachel thing (Breakup/cheating). Writers usually have to do something drastic like that to make us pick a side more easily.
Even after adding that drastic step back though, some of us might have been willing to forgive Jeremiah for what he did. It was definitely not within character. I would have been one of them. Jeremiah is the guy we should choose in real life.
On the other hand we've got the dark, mysterious, depressingly sweet Conrad. In fiction this is the guy that ALWAYS gets the girl. I think a big part of the reason is because in real life us women/girls tend to try to change those we love.
Conrad did not treat Belly well. That is a fact. There were times he was going through an incredibly difficult time emotionally and we can use those reasons for him because we understand what he's going through but that doesn't excuse his behavior ALL the time.
There you have my answer. The entire time I was reading the book I was rooting for Conrad at the same time the realist in me felt like I needed a slap in the face for doing so.

I just finished the third book, and I got soooo angry. I hate it that Belly ended up with Conrad. I never really liked Belly as an overall character very much. She doesn't seem very smart, and I think she makes bad choices (and she also has bad grammar: sometimes saying "I'm good" or "Anyways"). I have always loved how Jeremiah and Belly have been best friends all throughout their lives, and have had so many amazing memories together. Conrad just seemed to leave Belly in tears over, and over, and over again! I honestly don't know why Belly kept chasing after him after prom, and all of his other mood swings. Jeremiah seemed so cute and sweet, and for a second I thought that Belly had made the right decision getting married to him. But of course. Jere is always cast aside while his older brother gets everything. Team Jeremiah for life.
OK, if anyone see's this, all of the other comment are up to the second book. I guess no one cared since the series ended and you can't change any of it, but i just need to talk, even if it's just to a computer screen. I almost died when I figured out that Belly won't be with J. That's my piece.
No one plz note that no one can ever be better for belly other than conrad.....team conrad till eternity
I've only read the first book, but I think Conrad is a jerk. After time the novelty of that wears off and gets boring. Super moody. I think I'd buy him a box of tampons.Jeremiah is funny and sweet. Belly should go out with him.
Sort of always going to be Team Jeremiah maybe because I knew she was going to end up with Conrad all along...He was sweeter in the beginning.

I love love love Jere but he wasn't the guy for Belly, that was Conrad. I was back and forth in the beginning between who she should choose, but after what Jere did in Cabo, I was team Conrad till the end.
ok I just finished the 3rd and final book and she ends up with Conrad. I MEAN HELLO IT WAS FATE I <3 Conrad! I want to kiss him so bad lol and I'm just warning you after you finish the 3rd book you will cry your ass off. no joke. TEAM CONRAD ALL THE FUCKING WAY

Instantly Conrad he was so selfless stepping out of the way of Jeremiah and Belly. I know he told her he loved her hours before their wedding, but before that he put himself through so much pain [watching Jeremiah and Belly date for two years] just so she could be happy and he knew that he would hurt her if they started a relationship he put her heart first and suffered heartbreak just so she didn't have too. I choose Conrad because he was way too considerate to be pushed aside like he was nothing. he was clearly the one. Plus Jeremiah was annoying and corny at times. Jeremiah was trying to convince himself the whole time that Belly liked him more then Conrad but deep down he knew she would always be in love with Conrad. Always. Lets not forget also cheated on her then proposed to her out of guilt. He was just selfish and didn't want to see Conrad happy because he knew that Belly truly loved Conrad and not him.
conrad all the way yeah hes a super jerk but he always loved belly way before jeremiah
he is bipolar and probably suicidal
he never wanted to hurt belly by being with her when they were younger because he was in love with her from age 14 on
jeremiah is of course a dream guy.....but he isn't always loyal and he is not unconditanilly in love with her
does no one remember the letter from beck his mom ?????
