Jacquelyn I have read many books already in 2010 and so far this is one of my favorite books I have read this year aside from Seagulls Woke Me, May Bird, and Lemon Tart (Culinary Mystery). I loved the humor and the adventure in this book.

Jo Danilo It's one of my all time favourites too. I like the way the author interjects - something that often doesn't work - but the interjections are fun and make the book a real pleasure to read. I watched the film when I was a lot younger and was desperate to read the book but couldn't find it then (pre-Amazon days - so long ago). When I recently stumbled across a few years ago, it was every bit as good as I'd imagined. An old- fashioned fairytale adventure, but completely new and refreshing at the same time.
In fact, I'm going to read it again now.

Jessie I have read this book several times in the past, and it has always been one of my favorite books. I read it to my son more recently, and it was like re-discovering the fairytale.

Katie I grew up on this book. I just loved it. I have a few copies sitting on my shelves here at home. =)

Sun (the one that glows in the dark, of course) I loved it too. Best book.

And best confession of love of all time. I loved Buttercup's explanation to Wesley of how much she loves him and the love just grew and grew every second and she loved him more every second.

I was like, aaaawwwww.

Jordan Love the book and the movie :)
